Today I am going to show you 5 ways to color the black nursery pots. Will be using acrylic paint and very very simple patterns to do so.

No, the pots will not sustain the heat , cold or rainy weather. I suggest you use them as planters and not as pots. But if you wish to use them as pots, keep an indoor plant like a snake plant, which needs less watering..and the mud in the pot should be little below from the rim of the pot so that the water does not overflow, spoiling the beautiful work that must have done😊

Apply 2 or 3 coats of varnish (giving each coat to dry very well in between) for the paint to stay for a longer period of time😊

Amazing...will they withstand water that is put for the plants daily? and the heat too....what colours do you suggest for those plants? do we have to use oilpaint?
I have used acrylic paints here. And you can give 2 to 3 coats of varnish, giving each coat to dry in between.
I will still suggest that you use these as planters and not as pots. This way your pots will last long. And you can keep changing plants in these and get a different look each time 😊

Use direct. But if your paint is little old then it gets thick..then you can add a bit of water to your paint. Don't make it runny.

Thankyou. Yes you can use a varnish after the paint is absolutely dry. And give 2 to 3 coats giving time to dry in between😊

Love these pots can you put them outside
Hello Natalie. I would suggest not to keep the pots outside as the weather will wear the paint off. Unless you have a covered area and you water the plants in them individually, being careful to have mud below the rim of the pot...to avoid water spillage over the painted pot. Or if you keep succulents/cactus in them which need less water. So it actually depends where you place your pot and which plant you put in it. Still, i would suggest to use it as a planter and not as a pot so you can enjoy your lovely painting work on it for a very long time😊. Do use 2 or 3 coats of varnish, giving time for each coat to dry in between😊

Yes you can do the same on plastic bottles and earthern pots. Varnish for longer stay😊 For earthed pot, 1st wipe the pot so there is no dust for better painting.

Yes. But still handle with care so that your work stays for a long time. Don't keep the pots in rain or sun . Keep these indoors. And give 2 to 3 coats of varnish , giving time for each coat to dry in between 😊

Very beautifully painted. But I have the doubt whether this Wil last Like permanet paint,,? Do we need at most care while handling the pot?
Yes..if you use these as planters then it will last for a longer time. As pots, you will need to take care. Like not keeping these outdoors in the sun,rain ,cold... And watering just the mud so you will need to keep the mud level a bit low on the top, so that the water does not flow down on the pot. And you will need to give 2 or 3 coats of varnish, giving time for each coat to dry very well in between. Try and avoid spraying water on the pot. It's all how one handles it😊
