Which primar are you using?
It's white acrylic paint
Hi mam can we use this varnish for any art work like in mdf or others art works too
On MDF you can easily use this varnish but for artwork acrylic spray varnish is the best option

Poster paints will wash away.
Dishaji just check the shape of your lotus stencil... if you keep it up side down it looks like a goose flying... you can use it like that also ... jara video mai hi dekhiye😊😊😊😊

In your second technique, after applying synthetic varnish, for how long I can expect the work is protected? is there any way that the work done on terracotta pot is permanently protected?
I keep my pots outside most of the time and all of them still look almost fresh even after two years. If you notice that varnish coat is wearing off then you can apply fresh coat again to make it last longer. I hope this helps :)

Yes, you can use spray varnish after the paint has dried on the pot to seal the painting.
What kind of colour Shud b used on old pottery Achar jars ? They r not clay not glass...
Achar barnis are glazed ceramic. You need to sand its surface with 200 grit sandpaper then wipe it with wet cloth. Prime (white paint) it with latex paint, allow it dry, give it a second coat if needed, apply either acrylic or epoxy paint of your choice of color. Once dried seal it with acrylic paint sealer. Hope this helps!!
Hi mam, I did a painting on a big teracotta pot with brown base colour and white floral and madhubani patterns on it like your small red pot painting...
Can I use synthetic clear varnish which you have used coz many people say that it leaves a yellow stain on white painting details...

Being an actual man in America - I don't have a selection of nail-polish handy, but I do have a one and one-half meter diamater terra-cotta pot that I've already two-toned in metallic blues with the spray going in opposite directions thus creating an additional three-dimensional effect on the carved effect on the flattened pot six inches high at the rim and I appreciate your English skills and innate beauty too and regret my monolingualistic approach to the world at large (although I can "finger-spell" like a banshee since my sister was born deaf and she's still in the next room 50 years later.
I'm thinking I may have some micro-greens sprouting in a beautiful container decorated with positive energy in the dead of winter due, in part - to your inspiration and I thank you again. Then on to another project making the world a little brighter. There's another pot next to my mandala on a 1700s era woman's writing desk from New England that's an off-white over random, hand-torn' reverse stencils of tape gold metallic paint that needs a finishing touch.
I think perhaps we artists are a tribe of our own.

Tell me one thing, what is the effective way to paint a pot when I have already have it planted ? And secondly how to repaint then when the earlier ones are worn out?
Place the pot on a paper and keep this arrangement at eye level height. start from the bottom and work your way to the top. You can rotate the pot by holding its rim or by rotating the paper beneath it.
To repaint the pot either you can just apply touch up paint and in case it is completely spoiled then first, sand it then prime and paint it again.

How to clean varnish brush after use
You need to wash the brush with turpentine immediately after use
Please let me know for terracotta pots the breathability of the porous pots will be stopped if I apply emulsions, paints and varnish on them?

Hi Kirti, as I have varnished all my pots, water will not spoil them easily. I water them regularly and they are still intact. My tip is to give one coat of varnish to inside of pot as well.

Thank you. No, the paint will not chip if you give two coats of varnish after the acrylic paint has dried completely!

Hi Disha. I'm a fan of ur artworks & DIYs & love each & every creativity of yours. I just watched this video of pot decoration & also chkd the crackle effect technique u hv added in the description box . I loved the crackle effect but found it a bit confusing & didn't quite understand how to do the whole technique especially after application of all purpose glue. Also wanted to know what is all purpose glue.... I humbly request u to make a video of the crackling effect & upload it on RUclips so that we get a clear idea how to do it. Pls pls do make a video. i wld love to learn this beautiful technique & make some artwork 🤗🤗🤗
