I'm not a Pentecost, but this video nailed it. I ask everyone to pray for me. I am a Christian, but I want to live a more pure life and grow closer to God.
Thank God, there's someone like David Bernard. Someone who tells the truth according to the faithful teachings of the Bible and not sugarcoating the doctrine just to gain any benefit from the church. May God continue to bless him and enrich his wisdom steadfastly for the body of Christ and for the ministry of the gospel. 🙏
I love brother Bernard. He's such a godly man full of wisdom and truth, and he has a gentle spirit about him, which I like. He reminds me of my Pastor.
May our GOD ~Jesus bless you with good health and may you live long in this world to continue sharing the real gospel to all nations as you always do. May GOD protect you always Sir.
Great message and as you said, I know this applies to all manners of what we think we "should" be blessed with. So many people have a tit for tat relationship with their Father and I have ALWAYS thought this was a selfish reason to love someone. I will love God because he will bless me or I don't have to go to hell. A person should love a person for love's sake, not for a return on investment. So what if he doesn't heal you? What if you stay poor your entire life and yet you're the biggest worshiper in the church. I have seen it. The people that have nothing seem to be more thankful for the smallest of things. They are truly the meek.
I've always felt like the so-called "prosperity gospel" was over blown. Not everyone can be rich beyond imagination. God did promise to supply all of our needs. He has always done that for me. However I really have a problem with asking for something just because we want it for the sake of having it, especially if it's just to "keep up with the Joneses". If the "prosperity gospel" was really the will of God, and all we had to do was believe, give and be blessed, then all of the disciples, apostles, etc. would have been rich and it''s evident according to the Bible that they weren't. There's such a thing as "asking amiss", i.e. asking wrongly or inappropriately, asking for yourself selfishly. An old song comes to mind: If I ask for things that I should not ask for If I pray for things selfishly If I ask for myself and not for my neighbor Take this veil from my eyes and let me see…
Dr Bernard I heard a preacher say over the radio that Jesus taught more about money than he did salvation. I'm still trying to do a count, but i was wondering what would the sinner think if we portrayed Jesus as being more interested in offerings. Now i hear a lot of the young pentecostal evangelist using the same phrase to encourage giving. Do we have Bible that proves this
Therein are the crux of the matter. Those who don't believe in prosperity gospel believe that God has materially blessed the Western church so that 'we can (materially bless others' (like giving others fish) whereas prosperity theology seeks to 'teach others how to catch fish'. Which one is more empowering to others who are struggling materially?
I don't see how anyone who understands the true meaning of the scriptures can even think about believing prosperity preaching.. that teaching is far from truth.. it's wicked.. bunch of false prophets and false teachers..
those Pastors won't definitely not go to Haven ,in spite that they probably believe that all they have to do as the Bible says is beg Jesus for forgiveness to wash away all their sins instead to their million dollar homes and expensive airplanes ,all donated money should go to people in great need or building hospitals and schools in poor countries Mathew 19:23-24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Mathew. 7. [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves and God forgive those gullible not so smart people donating their hard earned money for they don't know what they are doing
Being prosperous does not mean Being rich, this man's view is distorted. God does want his people to proper and be in good health. People pray for wealth and health. He is supporting the prosperity gospel!!!

May the grace of God be sufficient for you brother.
(Phil. 2:12-13)
Thank you for sharing & saying, LIFE HAPPENS!! It rains on the just and the unjust.

Some UPC preachers today preach Seed-faith what UPCI official statement about this?
Yes!🔥
How could a concept like "prosperity gospel" not be corrupted?

It’s God’s will for all his children to be blessed and prosperous cuz God is rich and very prosperous so should his church.

No, it is not biblical at all. Flee it whenever you can!
Flip,flop
Totally disgusting doctrine.
