as a teenage boy i found him annoying but by the end of the series i realised hes an extremely accurate teenage boy and im ashamed to see alot of myself in him. one of my favourite charecters oat
South Park is well worth the watch! I've always liked this episode a lot. You get some real insight into Tony's childhood and how awful Livia is. Johnny Boy is also a very interesting character.
So I'm late to the party, but I've been binging your Sopranos vids all day and you unlocked a core memory for me My dad used to do the same thing with me when I was little, steering the car from his lap, I loved it! Also one time I was spending the weekend at my cousin's and my uncle let us all steer his freaking Mack truck down I-95, just outside of Baltimore. I could not have been older than 6, and the best part was, this was the same weekend that same uncle thought it would be a great idea for me to drive his riding lawnmower, which I promptly ran right up into his shed and over a bunch of random things 😂 I can still picture my dad and uncle running to shut it off, and my mom and aunt reminding them that it was totally their fault and not mine haha Looking back it's like... I'm amazed I'm even alive today, but still I wouldn't trade those memories for anything in the world.
You are spot on with your analysis's of the episodes. Are you doing this and other reactions as a college project? My son is a film major at SMU. He's a Sr there. About a month ago an SMU alum who is a screenwriter ( still on strike ) in NY came back and talked to some classes and gave an evening lecture based on the Soprano's pilot episode. Since I've probably watched every episode a minimum of 6-7 times and my son has watched a bunch of them with me when he was in HS he could relate far better than most of the other students. The SMU Screenwriter stated that the pilot episode was in his estimation the best writing television had ever seen. I'm enjoying watching this thru someone else's eyes. Thanks
Thank you James! No, it’s not for a college project, just decided to start this channel with my brother and react to his favorite show ever! Glad you like it:)
Excited to see the upload. Just found your channel last night, and binged the Sopranos playlist. You’re comments crack me up and it’s interesting to hear your (intelligent) insight after. Gained my sub.
There are so many comments, that I am a bit shy about posting this. Young Livia was portrayed by Laila Robins. And I remember Laila from high school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Such an interesting kid back then. Many students gravitated toward her. That said, we people from Minnesota give way. We tend to leave other people alone. She has had a long and productive career in acting and performing. Somebody even created a page for her on Wikipedia. I never recognize her when I see Laila on screen. Often, years go by until I read some scrap of news about Laila, causing me to research. You are correct Cristy when you give kudos to the woman who played young Livia, and to all of the other actors. The casting directors were instrumental in creating a good TV show.
Oh god rewatching the sopranos made me relive my middle school days watching the sopranos Id watch it at my brothers house because my mom and dad didn’t want me to watch it life with super traditional/conservative native parents
Definitely keep watching! After watching multiple times, the 1st season has always felt like more introductory, whereas the rest of the seasons pick up, big time.
Yes, South Park is awesome, and this is coming from someone who isn't really like a hardcore South Park fan. I haven't watched a ton of South Park but I don't think I've ever seen a bad episode. The movie was pretty good too, and their social commentary is always dead on and hilarious.
"goomar" 🤣 I believe Livia was instrumental in getting the show started. Without that character, and the excellent portrayal by Nancy Marchand, in the first season, the show may not have had a second season.
great reaction... it's been so long since I saw the first season... I forgot how different it is than the rest of the seasons. not that's anything bad, just has a totally different vibe and feel to it.
No, of course AJ doesn't realize that telling his grandma that his dad sees a therapist would have any implications whatsoever. That's kinda the whole point. He's just a kid telling his grandma something that he saw. He had no idea that it would lead to the things it did, and he couldn't have even began to fathom that.
I had a therapist tell me that it’s normal for male patients to develop feelings for their female doctors. I had no idea where that came from because I had no feelings for her whatsoever
@@CristyReactsAwesome!!! Hope to see it soon. And I take it you know what new favorite actor of yours I was referring to. True Romance may actually have been his first screen role.
Often kid actors go thru puberty during a shows run & then turns out they are terrible actors as young adults. Not here though. As you watch AJ age thru each season his acting skills becomes nothing short of phenomenal. A natural born talent. But when the series ended Robert Iler learned he doesn’t like acting at all & never pursed it. He loves playing poker & became a professional poker player. To this day he’s best friends with Meadow (Jamie Lynn Sigler) & they have a very successful podcast together. All cast members still speak of Robert Iler as a natural born talent that blew them away during filming as they watched him grow up. Iler is a rare example of a kid actor who is actually highly talented.
When you finish the series, there is a prequel movie, The Many Saints of Newark. It stars James's son as a young Tony. The main character is Christopher's father... Worth a watch... Especially if you like the flashbacks in this one...
That's gas-lighting, women speak and argue in subtext. We men know. "I didn't say anything, you must be feeling something." You don't have to, we can pick up on womanize.
Tony's attempts at making Dr. Melfi jealous, with zero success. Lmao 😂
20:05 fuckin albacore around my neck😂
Yessss Sopranos time !!
"I like AJ" lmao let's see how long this lasts

Well, her latest video (season 5) was titled "I hate AJ" lol.
South Park is well worth the watch! I've always liked this episode a lot. You get some real insight into Tony's childhood and how awful Livia is. Johnny Boy is also a very interesting character.
Pinot Griggio? I vote for a nice Italian wine...😅
12:16 Definitely. Hilarious show, and a lot smarter than it seems at first glance.

Hello Cristy... Did you ever see the beautiful movie called "Fried Green Tomatoes" with Kathy Bates, in 1991 ? A Masterpiece... All the Best!
I haven't yet-- is it worth adding to the list?
I saw it three times, and each time I had tears in my eyes...
South Park is absolutely essential for healthy mental development in children.
Oh god rewatching the sopranos made me relive my middle school days watching the sopranos Id watch it at my brothers house because my mom and dad didn’t want me to watch it life with super traditional/conservative native parents
Loving your reactions, you explain it so well...
🥰 thanks for hanging out!
Definitely keep watching! After watching multiple times, the 1st season has always felt like more introductory, whereas the rest of the seasons pick up, big time.
It was the same for me as well.
I loved this show so much my heart beat faster when the song started playing lol
I love AJ , please please just keep an eye on him and don’t give up on him, try and remember how he was parented
I love how you're a foodie too. There's a Sopranos food compilation video that you should check out. Great ASMR and will make you hungry lol

Sopranos and South Park why not 👍
Yes. If you watch every episode of South Park, I will watch them with you. Maybe I'll spring for the Patreon to see it all.
Hey where can I send you a bottle of wine??? 😊

"No Marry-O Kart" is easily the worst punishment

6:34 facts she sounds like Lois😂

The horrible thing is Livia is based on the show runner's own mother.

Have you gotten to
True Romance yet?
It does star one of your new favorite actors.
Hi Kat! I did watch it but the upload was moved down the list due to mass requests to contiene the BTTF trilogy, but it’s definitely coming soon!
@@CristyReactsAwesome!!! Hope to see it soon.

True Romance may actually have been his first screen role.
South Park is the best. You should definitely watch it
Have you seen the comedy show Father Ted?
Hilarious show
I hear you're a racist now, Father! 😂

Wow this is a really cool fact. I'm gonna look him up. I love that he's still friends with Meadow and they have a podcast!!
He never had the makings of a varsity athlete though.
You are funny, like your content ❤

Definitely think you’ll enjoy it, it’s gives great insight to the older generation of Sopranos.
The movie sucked.
WATCH SOUTH PARK 💯🔥🔥🔥
South Park a must it is the most irreverent funny show
Ip man 1 reaction
Yeah you're realizing Livia is literally the Devil... btw south park is hilarious
She was a saint
AJ is the absolute worst. Such a whiny baby the entire series. Worst part about the show by a mile

Yes watch South Park
ANDOR???
