I love this plane...it has an impressive climb rate!
I love it too!
Excellent landings by the crew! (Both at LCY and ZRH)
13:48 thats the place where I grew up and still live today. Nice Video 👍
I always love making time out of my specifically to see these awesome reviews. Keep it up!
Wat Hapen Thank you so much! Really appreciated! 😉
Stunning views!
GreatFlyer Thank you! 😉
Fantastic video, stunning views and superb quality! Swiss certainly has a stylish cabin on their CSeries, would love to fly them sometime!
RVNspotting Thanks for your comment! ;) Hope you could fly with Swiss CSeries soon!
Wow stunning views of those mountains 👍
I was on the plane behind you on the runway. I came from Manchester on Lufthansa to Frankfurt Am Main and then Swiss to Zurich and I was going to Munich for Oman Air To Muscat. If you are wondering why we went the wiggly squiggly long way round, it’s because it’s cheaper from Munich. But we could have gone from Frankfurt but my mum said Munich.
FinardoLittle 123 Oh really! The same day at the same time! That’s a unique coincidence! 😲 Anyway, you did a pretty looong journey! At least you earned lots of miles! 🤣
Incredible, Niki! 😆 That CS100 is a beauty, indeed! What a climb rate from LCY, can imaging people with a flying fear to vomit... 🤢 I’d love to fly the CS100 one day, but only a few airlines have them in serve currently... 😞 Maybe one day, who knows 🍀😜
Fly Away / Rupert Thanks for your comment! ;) Yeah, the CS100 is a wonderful short-haul aircraft! Regarding the climb rate, I agree with you, I think it's also due to takeoff/landing procedure in LCY. However you don't feel bad actually, since the aircraft (engine, cabin, structure) is so well designed that you don't notice how fast it is climbing, if you don't see outside. The engine sound is also soft, even if it's very powerful. You should try to fly on a C-series soon. You'll notice how flying on a C-series is so comfortable.
Niki Svaizer Your welcome! I’ll really have to consider doing that! But sadly SWISS is the only operator of the CS100 in Europe and rarely flys to HAM with it... I’d need to be really lucky to get on that flight and moreover SWISS is quite expensive... 🧐😞 AirBaltic doesn’t perform flights to HAM with their CS300 instead they use the Dash 8 which is a pain on a close to a two hour service in my opinion 😵 I don’t want to know that passenger do no their flight from Riga to Brussels which is two and a half hours long when they use the prop! 😫
Fly Away / Rupert Yeah, actually only Swiss and Air Baltic operate the C-series in Europe, and Swiss flies a mixture of regional aircraft (F100, ERJ190, CS100, CS300) on intra-European flights, so it's actually unpredictable which aircraft type you are going to fly, if you buy the cheapest ticket months before the actual flight. I think you should move to TXL or MUC to fly the C-series of Air Baltic. Or, if you patient, wait for the increase of presence of C-series in Europe. Actually I could have chosen several flights from LCY (operated by a mix of ERJ190, CS100) and I chose, obviously, to fly the CS100 for the first time. Glad that you appreciated my video and hope you could have better chances to fly on a C-series aircraft soon! ;)
Niki Svaizer Thanks! I think I’ll opt for the second suggestion you mentioned 😊 TXL and especially MUC are quite far away from HAM and at the moment I don’t have anything planned with these airports... BUT : In July I’ll fly HAM - FCO with Eurowings and I wondered whether it’s possible to met up with you, considering that you are Italian... 😁✈️ Or is FCO to far away from MXP? 😜
Fly Away / Rupert It would be nice to meet you 😉 But actually FCO is quite far away from Milan (about 1h of flight). Next time, visit the Northern Italy! 😉 I think it should be easier to meet in HAM when I go there for business. Enjoy Rome! ☺️
Great work, Niki! Loved that, excellent camera quality on the iPhone X, great detail and perfectly edited! Liked! :)
AirCat Aviation Thank you so much for your comment and appreciation! 😃
I love Americans but they need to win at all cost even if
they cheat or bully. They convinced our government in the late 1950’s to cancel
the Canadian made Avro Arrow fighter jet because it was superior to anything
the Americans had at the time. The A220 and its development in Canada is
another example of Canada’s ability to develop a superior aircraft if given the
opportunity. As a Canadian I am grateful to Swiss Airlines for being one of the
first to place their trust in Canadian technology and not be bullied by the USA.
I have seen a lot easy jet review and I love it
Thank you.
Another one again amazing video thanks for replying to most of my comments that plane that came to pick you up really look it was in a hurry
Antreas Konstantinou Thanks for your comment! 😉 Yes it was actually...
only been there once, a flight to edinburgh with the Q400. still my favourite airport
Willkommen in DER Schweiz 👍
Awesome video! The A220 looks like a nice aircraft! =D
Engines are quiet. Except for the 5 seconds Vulcan howl off-idle
Nice video :) I flew with CS 100 last year..I love this plane :)
Pete Brandy Thank you! ;) Yeah, I fully agree with you! I felt in love with that aircraft too!
Excellent Video.....Thanks !!
Wow ! I love this plane & your video !
I often looking country Swiss in RUclips...Swiss have beautiful view, i like Swiss, because Swiss very clean garbage.i have a dream...sometimes i can go to pilatus.from Indonesia...
We are sadly not that clean, the air yes, but a lot of people throw there just on the ground no matter where they are. But I hope you can come and enjoy it one day yourself :)
Such a beautiful video !
Thank you! 😉
A220 lifted off like a rocket.WoW
Nice video. I live between LCY & LGW, but prefer to fly from LCY. As regards connecting to LGW, LHR, STN. To Stansted, you can use the Stansted Express from Liverpool Street Mainline Station. For LGW use the Gatwick Express from London Victoria, and the Southern Train Services via Clapham Junction & East Croydon, stop at LGW. For LHR, the London Underground Piccadilly Line is the best option, as the Heathrow Express from Paddington Mainline Station, is expensive.
Robert Mansfield Thanks for your comment and deeper explanation about airport connecting transportation ;) Anyway, I prefer to fly from LCY too, if I have the chance.
Very nice video👍
GSM Thank you!
As always.. superb video... thanks for sharing...!!!
4vndd Thank you so much! 😉
@@NikiSvaizer you're always welcome friend..!!!as aviation enthusiast's we love this stuff...!!!
Awesome flight report!
Gregori Quirós Dos Reis Thank you! 😉
Loved this report:)
MillieBlogging Thank you! 😉
And that fast takeoff!!
I love Swiss' livery!!!
i had my conection time 10 min... from gate B to gate E
Connecting at ZRH is usually very quick. ZRH is one of my favourite airports for transits.
Wow, that legroom is a joke... I want my SkyWork Saab 2000 back :(
Also, the route LCY-BRN is way more beautiful than LCY-ZRH :P
Another great video, thank you for sharing! Can i ask you which camera do you use for your videos?
My Trips Thanks for your comment! ;) I simply use my iPhone X, set at 1080p 60fps ;)
Quite impressive image quality. Who needs fancy cameras when you have one of these! Not far from 1,000 subs now, well done :)
My Trips Yeah, I appreciate the video quality during daylight, however at night, there is too much difference between picture and video mode. Picture mode is more realistic, while video mode is too dark in my opinion. Despite this defect, I think it can be considered a discrete replacement of a camera, if you are not pretentious. Yeah! 1,000 subs are just a step away! ;)
A really nice video, Niki. Great job.
I've never flown from LCY airport but I had several opportunities to do so. The "problem" is how to connect to it from other airports (LHR, STN or LGW). Do you know if there is any easy way to do it? Maybe some kind of direct shuttle?
In 2 weeks I'm flying exactly in this 2 airplane models and, also, in the same order! haha First the CS100 from Geneva to Zurich and then the Helvetic E190 from ZRH to Madrid airport. I'll be arriving in Geneva with Easyjet (it will be my first ever flight with the "orange low-cost").
How is the CS100 in terms of noise? Is the engine roar felt? I ask because yesterday I was flying in the Air Europa B787 and the engine sound is ridiculous... I guess we must enjoy during the next years while the "non-new generation airplanes" (B737 no-MAX and A320 no-NEO) are still in use...
Greetings from Spain! Wish you a nice week! :)
PS: I love how your iPhone X records.. the image quality is really nice. But what I like the most is how "soft" is felt the movement despite you are walking while filming. A really nice and soft stabilization.
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Thanks to you! ;) I don't think there's a direct service between LCY and other London airports. Anyway LCY is easily connected with: 1) Bank (DLR), where you can take the underground to Liverpool Street / Blackfriars / Victoria; 2) Stratford (DLR). All main stations are linked to the other airports with bus / train / underground.
Wow, so you are flying both easyJet and CS100 for the first time in the same period! Hope you will be enjoying that trip! ;)
Regarding the CS100, it's a very quiet and comfortable aircraft, quieter than B787 and A320neo, I think due to the aircraft mass. Anyway, there's no comparison with B737 and A320ceo.
The iPhone X has a great stabilisation, no extra equipment is needed. Colors are warm and focus is quite fast. The bad point is when I film in the dark. It does not catch all the lights outside correctly (for example, a city from above). I think your S6 in 4K is much better than iPhone when you film at night. Don't you think so?
Greetings from Italy ;) Have nice flights as usual! ;)
Thanks a lot for the info. I'll check those connections for my next trip to (or via) London. Right now, my max priority is to book a flight on the Iberia A346 to London, before they'll change to the A350.
My s6 is already getting old (It's 3 years old already). It has served extremely well, but I think that it's on its final days haha I've been checking during the last weeks how the new S9 plus performs... and it looks really nice. I'll try to buy it before summer...
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience If I consider that the quality of your videos in 4K is stunning, I cannot image how beautiful and real they would become when you'll be using the S9 Plus! 😃
The quality isn't bad, that's for sure. But edition also makes them nicer. My S6 was the best acquisition of the last years, but it has already battery problems (I've exceeded the standard charge cycles more than 1'5 years ago). Also, the zoom is completely digital, so more than 2x will get you a blurry image... The new S9 plus, having 2 cameras, offers some kind of optical zoom (4x I guess) that will make the difference.
Anyway, maybe I'll have to continue with my S6 for another year, so better not to make "him" angry haha
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience You cannot complain about your S6 performance. Surely the edition is necessary in order to improve quality and make the video nicer, but if you don't have a good equipment, you can edit forever and don't achieve the quality of video you desire.
iPhone X has 2 cameras and 2x optical zoom. It changes your way to film! No more digital zoom for me. If I can, I avoid do use it!
Hope you could upgrade your smartphone soon! ;)
Nice Video of the C Series 100 or the new name A210 if Airbus does change the name of the C Series.
Bel video
Awesome!! Subbed :)
Coat hook and free mini chocolate? Why am I not flying this plane sooner? 😂😂🤣😂
it is Swiss, not the plane!
its sad that helvetic airways removed their Fokker 100s
I dont know but im afraid of flying in a new plane.
Good
👌👌👌
11:15 Is that a Fokker?
Alessandro Visconi Yes it is! 😉
👏👏👏
5:37 to 5:42 spelling mistake on the word else - it is spelled 'esle' in the video
Luke Barker Thank you, it's just a typing error, it can happen...
@@NikiSvaizer oh don't worry about it I can just tell people if they are unsure why it is spelt wrong
All Swiss tickets i am searching for are too expensive
I have flown from EGLL me times
Is it A220 or A320 im confused
Raphael Adiprasetyo It's an A220 ex CS100
A220 a plane made buy bombardier/ Airbus
It would be more interesting if the information during the video were spoken and not written.
Than watch sam chui
hi hi niki..sup sup
How did you do that map? 0:00
It’s a feature of iMovie.
@@NikiSvaizer Fair enough.
Was this a flaps Full takeoff?
Yes it was, why wondering?
@@NikiSvaizer Flaps Full takeoffs are just used on very short runways, I didnt thought an E190 would need it
@@Marlon00019 I thought you were referring to A220 takeoff from LCY. The ERJ-190 takeoff from ZRH didn't have full flaps position, you can compare with landing configuration in MXP.
@@NikiSvaizer I meant the 220 takeoff
@@Marlon00019 Ok you are talking about the A220 takeoff from LCY, not the ERJ-190 as you wrote. So, yes, since LCY has a short runway, the flaps were fully deployed.
I struggle to find out why London city is in that exact spot! It is hard to land in, to polluted! Just fly to/from Heathrow or Luton!
Or gatwick or stansted
When they closed down the huge harbour area with all the docks, they had a dock that already had the perfect shape for a runway.
And LCY is great. It's small, and from landing to central London, it's going to take you barely over 30 minutes. Good luck trying that at the big ones.
The mix of regional aircraft at london city is awesome, like few other airports in the world. I also think the location is awesome, so central.
That croissant looked off
I think u mean a220
Yes the first flight was on A220 as reported in the title.
Kinda of hard landing on the second one
a220 is a Quebec product
Wings are made in Belfast
🏋🏻♀️
