That was lovely, Deez. Those lights remind me of my favorite lights we used to have on the tree when I was young. It's a warm and welcoming setup.

Everything looks so lovely! I feel like every year I decorate less and less now that the kids are grown. When the boys were growing up we had a full tree with a mishmash of ornaments. Now we have a slim tree with a color scheme of teal blue and champagne colored ornaments. Very different from before!Maybe when we have grandchildren I’ll do more decorating again. Thanks for showing us what you’ve done this year! I think it’s great that you make some changes but also keep the tradition of your pinecone centerpiece.
Thanks. I do think it makes a difference when you have grandchildren. I was never into elves, but Sid is around now and the granddaughters love trying to find him when they visit. I still have more decorations in the garage but I stop decorating once I'm satisfied I have enough on display, plus it takes alot of energy to put up and take down lol. :)

🌲⛄️ Hi, Deez. :) I love trees and Christmas villages. Yours are beautiful and the cross-stitch snowman is cute! I like warm white lights better, too. The black tree came out nice. The gold ribbon looks good and I think silver would look as good. Is that Rita I hear barking? :) ⛄️🌲
Thank you. Maybe next year I will try the silver ribbon. I like changing things up a bit. No, that was not Rita, that is my neighbours dog. Rita sadly passed a couple years ago.

I’m not decorating all out this year either. I broke my shoulder a month ago so I’m giving myself a pass. I will miss all my Xmas decor, but hopefully next year! Love your black tree, lace is a great idea! ❤
