Haha, I don't buy many magazines these days. Just a few here and there. I used to buy so many years ago. Some of them can be pricey so I tend to hang on to them for way too long lol. Tfw xx
It's always such a good feeling to clean out the closets and lighten our load! What a creative use for old magazines! I remember when I was in grade school, cutting out magazine pictures and making little "stickers" out of them, which I glued onto letters and cards. Your iridescent scissors are so pretty...I don't have a pair with long blades like that. I think I need to get some, because I can see that they keep long cuts straighter, whereas my cuts usually end up wonky, lol. That's nice that your daughter will be giving her mum a break this Christmas and hosting the dinner. Because your holiday is warm weather, I was wondering what your dinner is like? Is it held outside, like a cookout? Here in the States, we usually have ham or turkey for our meal. Looking forward to see how you use these cut outs in future crafts : )
Indeed it is. I have taken six large fully loaded bags to the charity shop, and yet I still have so much 'stuff' lol. But it has made a difference, plus I am reminded of what I have. Oh, I can cut wonky with large scissors but they are better than using smaller ones when you have long lines to cut. We will be having pizzas for our Christmas dinner. My daughter bought a new outdoor pizza oven recently. Many families have outdoor barbecues or cold chicken and salads. Some have seafood and salads. My mother-in-law always had roasted chooks with vegies, a more traditional meal with pudding and custard for sweets. :)
Lol, I see your point but for me the mags are taking up too much room. I've been sorting out my craft room, organizing, cleaning and getting rid off stuff I'm not going to use. :)
