Highly underrated director.
He didn’t even want to play the agent because he’s not an actor - but you’d never guess. He is fantastic in the role.
He had a magnificent and much lauded career as a director, lol. Look up his nominations and awards. There's an exhibit focusing on his directorial career in Hollywood.

Dustin Hoffman is nothing less than PERFECT in this movie!!! I love it!!!
He definitely deserved the best actor oscar for this role.
