Lyriqs are starting to sell more because Uber Black allows Lyriqs to be used.
Transaction price is going up as the level 2 and 3 trims are delivered

Shopping for a Lyriq in the southern California market has been frustrating. No showroom stock to be found. Dealer markup of an additional $5,000.00 is common. The federal tax rebate is an attraction but the markup cuts into the attraction and early models were Debut Edition cars. Obvious visual changes were made after those 2022 models and early '23 models had the same visual changes. As the '23 model year progressed there was an obvious change to the door handles. A very smart change to a Land Rover type handle. Then there is the power fuel cap. This does not fit the image of a Cadillac as "Standard of the world". Limited interior color choice is without an attraction away from competition. More vinyl and leather color choices are needed. Also, being locked into options by price category limits personalizing an order for the Lyriq. Perhaps later in the 2024 model year or 2025 will bring this car up to that standard only hinted at to date. How is a new Lyriq buyer supposed to hold on to enthusiasm for the Lyriq without one on the showroom floor?

This video was written from the point of view of GM, NOT the consumer. How a higher price benefits the individual consumer is pure unicorn farts.
Plus, since GM is requiring dealers to only charge MSRP on ordered vehicles, under the threat of decreasing future allocations, but does allow dealers to add “market adjustments” on cars that were ordered by people on the waiting list who have then canceled their orders, the higher TP means there are MANY order bailouts. This is not good news, no matter what attempts are made to “spin” the facts.

I am completely baffled by this video. It appears that you are stating that as a consumer I should be happy that the Lyriq price increase of 13% is a great thing??? I am on the waiting list for a Lyriq, but am getting closer and closer to requesting that I withdraw and get my $500 deposit returned . The straw that may break the camel’s back may be insurance. I cannot get an honest answer from insurance agents. If you can provide any information regarding Lyriq insurance, that would be wonderful.

Your insurance would be like 100 a month., I hope you’re lucky., that you don’t have tow your car to the dealer for 3 times and going., they said its a software., and still not fixed.

This looks like it was created by AI. It doesn't make a lot of sense, quite repetitive and no meaningful information or insights.

The owner of the Lyriq Media channel has previously commented that English is not his native language, so I’m guessing that he has an accent that he believes would interfere with the presentation, so he writes the text and the speech is generated by a computer…thus the frequent mispronunciations, particularly of the word “Cadillac”.
Whether he uses AI to write, or help write, the text is an open question.
      Care to address that LM?
