Real band name: Man Man
Lyrics:
How do you shake this feelin'
That you were born scene stealin'
Maybe you coasted far too long
Baby you seem so tired
Drawing phantom power
From all of the fires in your life
As a house
And all that you wanted
Was to feel as haunted
By the desires
Desires to drive you into the arms of another lovers, dreams
Is this all there is even after
Years of trial and error
Ya learnin how to love, get loved and destroyed
Board up the bedroom windows
Fire off roman candles
Watch all the ghosts in our floor
Disappear
Best song in CP2077 imo
For it's got to be tied with pretty much most the samurai songs I love them so much
Once I heard this song playing on the radio I would just sit in the car hoping it would play again soon
oh hi blarg
Wanted to like but didn’t wanna wreck the 69 likes
Cheers choomba
This and the SAMURAI songs
Morro Rock best radio station
Cant disagree
Yeah

Body heat has some good ones but Morro is the goat
True
Bro the fact this isn't on pandora, Apple music, or Spotify is a testament to the failure and injustices the music companies commit daily. Johnny would be upset
I read pandora and thought yea this would be in borderlands.... Then I read the rest
Arasaka banned it.
This or Kill the Messenger, can’t get. 2 of my favorite tracks in the game. Always gotta stop what I’m doing and listen.
it looks like it was on Spotify at one point, it’s in the playlist but it’s blacked out like it was removed :(
the actual artist is "man man" or "honus honus" idk if they actually let this track fly tho
No way this track is 2 minutes. I drove across half of night city, got out of my car and did a gig, and this song was still playing.
Cyberpunk city is pretty small so that why
@@christiansantamaria7233 definitely isn't lol
The song loops twice on the radio, never understood why but it does.
By the desire to drive you drive you to another's dreams.
@@Mors_Ontologica SHUT UP BRO I'M TRYING TO BE A DARK FUTURE MERCENARY AND NOW I'M CRYING IN MY CAR
RIP Jackie, see you in the major leagues
I'm still crying
Seems I'm not the only one who secretly dedicated this song to the late Jackie Welles. RIP hermano
See you in the major leagues, Jackie.

Same with me. Whenever this song comes on, I stop the car and listen to it.
this comment is ill-timed
Might be a sad song, but it played on the radio after I kissed Panam for the first time, so it makes me happy.
Played for me after I left the new camp at the end of her questline driving back to Night City as it was getting dark.
Me too
Yes; I read this as male V and Panam's song, so to speak.
@@quantras2673 Exactly the same, is it scripted to the Panam questline?
Wait you can kiss Panama?!
Drive slowly, play this beatiful song and enjoy the night city streets.
That's what I did.
The badlands with the beautiful stars above; hits differently, especially if you’ve just done some of Panam’s quests.
@Poli same, reminds me a lot of back home...
@@davidveilleux6258 Especially when you're a Nomad.
I can't drive slow on PC. W makes you accelerate. Releasing it makes you stop accelerating. Gotta use a controller for fine tuning. I guess you can tap it but it's annoying. I couldn't believe there wasn't a walk toggle key either. Bioshock 2006 has walk toggle. Hell the first Deus Ex has walk toggle. It helps with fine movements.
This song not being on any music app is still one of cyberpunks greatest tragedies
RIP Barry in the NCPD man... I didn’t finish the quest on time and the man ended it all...
@47 IQ you can save him though

@@SkipJunkman lmao, I just find it funny the name of the quest is called Happy Together, and it's a song sung by: The Turtles
@@agentundercover Wow, I did not catch that. The game is just packed with easter eggs like that. I love it.
I had this music in radio when I was leaving oil field after Chippi’n In mission. Shit, that’s deep
I felt bad when i saw the trashy tomb of Johnny.
Same
Might be the one that's supposed to play since was the same for me.
Same man. I wonder if they had it purposely play then
I finished the game 3 times, this song still fills that void
bruh same! i can’t stop playing
Nothing fills the void
3 times? Are you playing the game or speedrunning? I haven’t finished the game once, I’m doing everything I can before I complete it
@@officialwetard97 I was did all the main side quest for each play through but haven’t really did everything just because I wanted to hear all the backstory dialogue options and get the 3 endings that I felt were related to each backstory, I wanted to leave a few things un touched so I can experience something new when the main updates roll out in January and February
It’s been about a year since I found this song. Can’t believe a year ago I wanted to unalive myself, I’m in a entirely better place in my life.
It hits different driving around the badlands with this song in the background there’s something so calming about it
ive been telling people this same thing since launch, easily an s tier song
@@CDEDBDLuna ong bro
Don’t know why but this seems like a suicide song. Like just sitting in the badlands alone, this song playing as a single gunshot echoes out. It just gives me that vibe
After a long gun fight and you’re standing there as a lone survivor looking at the dead stretched across the sanoran desert under a moonlit light
This sounds like a song that magically starts playing when you've hit rock bottom
i was going 135 down a highway in johnny’s porsche while this song was playing, made me think of my past lovers and what’d i done wrong
somehow, this just resonated with me
and it’s so beautiful
I too get that vibe a lot playing through Johnny's questline. I'm in the middle of atonement/rendezvous with a past lover myself and his storyline's themes of repentance and change resonate a lot
Once I had johhnys gear his shares shirt jacket gun and car listening to this song hits more 🥰🙃🙏😬
Same, kinda wish I didn't listen, too depresso espresso for me 😅
This song hits different when it’s 4am, you can’t sleep due to your restless mind. Thoughts running a thousand miles per second, getting anxious over stupid, minor things. Once you put this song on, then everything comes to a nice, slow pace. Everything is calm once more, and you start to feel drowsy.
Makes me depressed
@@jeffkenney9890 I love how music affects people differently, for some this song brings a sense of tranquil. While others, not so much lol
This but I end up playing it on my guitar and singing it
Listening to the song @ 4am and can’t sleep AND READING YOUR COMMENT. 🤦🏻♂️really it describe my day
I was searching this song finally im in home
Reminds me of my homie recently passed. He would play things like this for days
I’m sorry for your lost and I’m glad this can give you good memories of them.
I’m sorry for your lost, but he’s being held by god now.. safe and sound
Wish I could experience Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time again man..
A-fucking-greed man
Good luck, V.
Hope I will see you with no more pain or burden one day in the Wasteland.

Slowly cruising the Badlands with this song on your car is beyond great.
The music just as I sit on the bike after V got that first kiss from Panam. 5 in the morning, sun is just rising behind the windmills in the distant. Beautiful scenery of desert side. Night City also looking beautiful from that distance. Only way that it looks so quite. This game really is an exprience. Has a soul. Love CD Project Red…
Going through a hard time this year, but man that feeling when i listen to this song in cyberpunk... Just reminds me that there is hope outthere.
This song always seems to play after emotional moments in my game. Like after the conversation with Jackie where she decided she was leaving Night City, after the first kiss with Panam, or after the family dinner with River. Always emphasized emotional scenes for me.
Jackie was a "she" leaving Night City? You meant Judy.
@@JamesHoffa1lol
this song has played for me after visiting johnny’s grave, while driving with takemura and judy (
I don't have any sob stories, this song just reminds me of when i had no job, no life, no future. It was a small comfort in times of being pathetic, now i look back at this game with nostalgic hapiness. God i'd rather be in a fictional world with Panam then what i'm living now.
I dont know what it was, but while playing Cyberpunk this song came on in the car and it just made me feel so good, sounds like something that plays when your driving down an open road leaving all your problems behind.
This is what played immediately after the end of act 1 as i rode circles around Night City on Jackie's bike, thinking about what to do next. What a game, man.
I know for a fact Cyberpunk must’ve done something with this song, cause there’s no way it’s actually only 2 minutes long, I’ve had fun driving and doing gigs for what felt like 5 minutes, chilling to this masterpiece
I just finished the game with the Panam ending and this song really ties everything together for me
With rampant throw away culture, blinding electric light everywhere and the constant race for the new, better, shinier thing, this song almost feels like sitting by a campfire with your friends, slapping away on that old acoustic guitar that's never quite in tune and remembering all you've gained and all you've lost.
this song has no refrain. he just sings the whole time. pretty dope.
This radiates 'everybody's gotta live' vibes so much
This song played right after finishing the quest chippin' in as I was driving back into the city while the sun was rising. Such a bittersweet moment...
God..I freaking love this..this literally played on my way to the final mission in cyberpunk
So it Goes and Never Fade Away hit me really hard man. Makes me think of where I’ve gone wrong, people I’ve known and all that.
It’s cool to see other people sharing similar experiences in the comments.
This played on the radio right after the talent agency for kids gig. The emotional rollercoaster was insane
This song hit different when it played on the radio while driving through the badlands back to NC after siding with Songbird in Firestarter.
it's a shame the song isn't on any platform
what ? it's on mono rock radio

Something so hauntingly beautiful about this song
This song always makes me think of Evelyn. Played on the ride over to Judy’s apartment when she called me saying something was wrong. It’s cool reading other comments about how this song made them feel more connected to the game/a certain character. It’s a beautiful song.

I think the game plays this song 3x in a row.
You hear this song a few times in the game if you keep it on that radio station. But I play this while killing all those gangs that I hate
Yeah it's a much shorter song than I expected
And that's a good thing.
I remember this playing after finishing the Panam/aldecaldos quest line on the drive back to the city, felt incredible.
Man man is my favorite band. My friend noticed they did a song in cyberpunk, and sent this to me. I’m so happy to know this great song and I’m very glad that so many people like it too
Love slowly cruising around the badlands to this song, too many songs make you wanna speed up, glad this one does the opposite.
The first time I heard this song was when I was on my way to drive scorpion off a cliff. Definitively made it an emotional drive
i need this on spotify
Having a ride in badlands and this song playing is one of the best things that happened in cyberpunk
My favorite song in the game by far
Getting drunk to this while driving in night city is such a depressing beautiful vibe to me
This song played after Jackie died and it fit the mood perfectly
The irony of this song in that world. You could argue that it's universal. Love yall 🖤
What do you guys think this song is about exactly? Hit the end of a long relationship recently, and I relate it to that. Beautiful song but it kind of haunts me, in a good way. To me:
He's singing about a (now) former lover who grew up being told they were gifted, and they know just how much they are adored, so they don't make any effort, but he loves them nonetheless. They are not motivated by ambition, rather they are driven to avoid discomfort, attain pleasure, but even a good relationship has it's uncomfortable moments and takes work. And the lover tried to ignore feelings of discomfort for the security of a relationship by making some effort to fix things, but that feeling just ate at them.
After all is said and done, he is questioning what he even learned from all the years, all the pain, did they mean anything? All he knows is he wants to leave it all behind, release the memories both good and bad.
There are some of the lyrics I'm not sure about, that's just my personal color.
I believe that music talks about a person who had everything to grow in life but did not have the opportunity to succeed, and that made him invisible to society.
someone who fights every day to survive and is always indulging in lust in search of peace.
a person who loved a lot and over time lost the flavor in loving. And now, wait for life to reach its natural end.
by the way, I really loved the way you understood the lyrics. made me think a lot.
I wish I could add this song to a playlist alongside Brand New’s “Simple Man/Lazy” and The Racket’s original version of “Fortune”, but none of these three songs are on Spotify nor were ever officially released. Why are the best songs the ones we can’t have? What is it about slow, lo-if garage-recorded, folksy songs that makes them so damn good? This is one of those songs that just makes you drop whatever you’re doing and reflect. It’s somehow got some immense deepness that I can’t explain.
beauty in the simplicity of life
This played in Johnny's Porsche after I'd visited his grave for the first time. So I just decided to sit for a bit and take everything in. God damn CDPR you have made a masterpiece, regardless of how long it took to fix.
played this game three times, i'm on the fourth playthrough now with the DLC, this song came up when I got in the car after seeing Luka and his mom Doris and it hit me. Beautiful, extremely sad moment, gave the kid the eddies knowing I'd find the reset button anyway. first time I heard the song after so many hours in the game...
Drove through NC with this song on, contemplated life soon after.
Heard this first driving back from the Nomad camp. Slowed right down on the road to just enjoy the drive.
Thank you for everything CDPR.

that bit about suit-stealing, you played as corpo didn't ya ?
this song played right after i did the gig for regina where you have to take some meds from a veteran on the brink of cyberpsychosis and he kills himself. gave me some weird vibes as if the game was telling me that this shit happens, and that it doesn't matter. the rest who are still alive move on.
This band is called ManMan in reality, the singer also has a similar project called Mister Heavenly. Also just like Samurai is in reality a hardcore band that where mytical in the late 90's up until their comeback a couple years ago, called Refused, check their old stuff(shape of punk to come), new stuff kinda sucks.
I played the game for 150 hours. I finished it 2 times. On the 2nd playthrough, I came across this song for the first time on my way to talk to Hanako and I listened to it in Johnny's Porsche in front of the building and entered the last mission. I deleted the game and I won't be able to experience the same wibe for a long time.
It's wild to see an obscure band like Man Man show up in the soundtrack of such a big game.
Songs like this make me think this is the closest we'll ever get to a true Fallout 5, if there ever was a true Fallout 4
Bethesda recently did confirm Fallout 5 is on their list,
But... they also said it would be afther Elder scrolls 6 wich is their big project in dev now and wont be released untill 2026 at the earliest, so ye Fallout 5 is on the list but who knows when that is... could be 2030.
I was driving in the desert. Here comes this song. Now I've played it back 22 times, And counting.
I'm glad so many people dig this song. Check out the band that performs it! They're called Man Man
I love it when this comes on Morro rock just driving through the bad lands just taking in the scenery

Oh Man Man, somehow you always steal my heart with your music. You took me by surprise this time, as I wasn't expecting you to do that in a game like CyberPunk. Heard this song today and instantly recognized Honus Honus' voice. Thank you.

such a mood driving by a crumbling messy world hearing this absolute banger
Literally looked up "That one country song in Cyberpunk 2077" and this was the first thing that came up. Really brings the image of a completely empty bar save for its lone patron on a stool, the air filled with smoke while the fan overhead does little to if anything to filter it out.
Brings to mind a singular car driving down a broken highway at sunset at 110 mph, right hand on the wheel and the other straddling the window sill, gun and hand and swearing never to go back.
I love man man.. a perfect way to go out
This is MAN MAN! (Band name) I KNEW it from the voice! Banger track!

Such a sweet, solemn little number, makes me think of nice times when I was livin under a bridge. It wasn't perfect, but in that moment it felt pretty good
Driving my Thoron Galena G240 though the rain ,and listening to this music , life hit different

Played this song right before I went deep diving with Judy, cruising on NC streets and Nomad dirt only going 60 :)
This song played after I visited Andrew’s niche during the Happy Together side quest. After Johnny Silverhand gave me that talk on how basically anything, even as something odd as a tortoise, can have an amount of sentimental value when you don’t have anything or anyone to come to. What hit me square in the chest for me is that it wasn’t too long ago when I was in the same situation.
I’m still so new to this game but I’m already so in love with Cyberpunk 2077
This song made me realize my true love for Panam..my one and only ❤️
The first time I heard this song I cried
Now this is the song to listen too while driving to a gig, ready to gore your enemies with mantis blades quicker than they can blink
This was uploaded on my birthday also one of my favorite songs of cyberpunk
