    Absolute forehead smack!
    Melodyne on bass.
    Of course!
    The formants. That gray multi band EQ.
    The sculpting capabilities have no end.
    Thank you brother !!!

    This is my go too when there is too much bad ringing overtones on bass and toms, or too little good overtones in e.g. the snare 👍 But very useful to clean up the sound in general.

    within the 1st minute I learned what Tone is. Embarrassing, but I think people bandy that word around without knowing what it means. This is such a cool video. Melodyne is incredible.

    Amazing! I think you could do a whole course on using these features in mixing.

    This is great! A few years ago I manipulated some of the notes being played that resulted in a more interesting bass part. And I thought I was pretty cool!! THIS info here is extraordinary though!! What you just showed was incredible stuff. Thanks so much!

    i would love to see if Melodyne can make a Sound as powerfull as a Synthesizer bass out of an acoustic Bass. Its a personal Dream of mine to transforme my e-bass that i play by hand of corse.. into a more powerfull sound.
    Im aware you have this Feature where it sounds a bit more synthetic. Im actually not after any plastic Quality of the Synthesizer. I love just the power.. So , i would be interested if thats also possible? With Drums i want the same.. I want it to hit hard, but beautifull, just like a House/Techno/Trance track .
    My current Computer is a bit old, i tried it, but its too slow..
    Can you make a vide about that?

      Of course you’re free to use the synthesizer in Melodyne studio to your heart’s content. Additionally, you have the audio-to-MIDI feature in Melodyne, so you can easily convert an audio recording of a bass to a MIDI track that can trigger your favourite bass synth.

    Considering that many people (me too) watch videos on their smartphones, I feel using a "Bass" as an example is a bad choice. You just can't hear anything.

      @celemony  Год назад +6

      You’re right, listening on phones is not recommended for any bass-related videos. Just mark the video, and next time you’re on a desktop computer with good speakers, watch it there. 🙂

      @@celemony imho i love you showing bass videos, there are already 1000 videos on guitar and voice.
      and seriously who watches sounddesign videos on a smartphone , and demands the absense of bass because of it
