- More human remains have been found in two locations as part of an investigation that started when a man's torso was discovered in Salford.
Police believe the torso belongs to a man in his 60s and have informed his family about his death, but have not yet identified him publicly.

Wasnt unusal, on average about 40 bodies are pulled from the thames every year, thats without intentionally searching
@@JamesKing-el3ry ...Metropolitan police figures show that in 2021 23 bodies were found in the urban stretch of the Thames covered by the MPU. In 2019 there were 27, in 2017 there were 30 and in 2015 there were 38. That's 15 a year on average.

I watch A LOT of murder cases. This happens all the time in the US, but its much less common to find dismembered remains in the uk... im suprised this is the first ive heard of it.
It sounds very much like they have the right people in custody though. Maybe the police have actually managed to do their jobs for once.
