The thing is, any kind of force or army in Bleach is useless because whoever their leader is, he's strong enough to solo all of them and then some. Every captain can shit on his/her entire squad. Yamamoto can wreck the rest of the captains with minimal issues, Aizen can piss on the entirety of Espada plus Tosen and Ichimaru straight from orbit, Yhwach can snap all the Stern Ritters out of existence, etc.

From then on, every time he gets closer to death he releases more of his full power, which is why he always seems to get stronger when he gets close to death.
