Great take on Broderick and Troy. Broderick has pro-bowl potential on the left side (if he can stay there and develop). The switch to RT does not come naturally to him. Fautanu, however, said in an interview that he actually feels more comfortable at RT. He backed that up with his play Sunday. Fautanu was the PFF player of the game.

Jones did fine his rookie season on the left where he belongs. Tomlin messed up trying him on the right. If left him where he belongs he could ascend!
Tomlin is a defensive coach. OL coach needs to speak up. The defense is awesome. The offense (other than draft picks at WR) has always been the question mark. I agree on what to do with Jones, but it isn't all on Tomlin. If Jones said, "Coach, I can only play blank side/position and I will pro bowl over there." then it would be on Tomlin. He listens to his coaches, his scouts, and his players and expects people like Jones to live up to what they all say.

Hope and pray they allow fields and steelers offense to have explosive playes and be less tight strings on fields, and this offense. They know harbough for chargers will make huge agjustments to make big plays to score. Also, he depends on how much talent he has on his chargers team that will be able to execute harboughs game plan. Anything Harbough touches, he is successful. Hopefully, we don't have false nfl ref penalties stacked against steelers. Hopefully, steelers' game plan and execution they can pull off a win against chargers fully prepared.

However, if you actually watched the game last week and not just the stats you'll see that the Steelers got hosed once again by the refs on two huge plays. One of which actually took a TD off the board. Whereas last year this offense often struggled to get 1st downs. That being said....I think the scores will come from what I've seen so far given they clean a few things up. I guess my position would be "cautiously optimistic" Officially.
Got to give Wilson a shot to see if he’s better than Fields, but if he’s not, the Steelers should open the playbook for Fields.
If they do open the playbook, prepare for lots of turnovers.

Please don't comment unless you know what your talking about. Hes better than Pickett , that's not saying much but he's not even close to being Mason Rudolph's caliper. Mason could take the offense up and down the field quickly against better teams than Fields faced, Mason wasn't a runner but he was a much better passer and quarterback overall, Mason could go through his reads, Fields can't, before it's all over you will see.

These casual fans have no idea what goes into developing an offense. EVERYONE on offense is young and/or new. The first few weeks they are learning how to play together in a new offense and learn how to win. Russ cant just be dropped in and automatically start cooking. How do you think he'll do behind this offensive line? Leave Justin in until he proves otherwise.

Well, I'll say it again, Tomlin is one key defensive player injury away of showing the world how incredibly average he is. The Fields, Wilson QB situation is nothing more than an experiment. Steelers have very little commitment in a QB for the '24 season. And as usual, when the Steelers start losing games because of said one defensive key player injury,who do you think they will be yelling to be fired,it won't be the right guy.
