      Ik how u feel abt love and Gigi. I feel it too. But instead of mourning we should be celebrating! We should be celebrating what inspiration he put in all of us! I don’t even play basketball. The only reason I started watching it was cuz of Kobe. His motivation and inspiration is contagious! His mamba mentality is contagious! So yeah, we should be celebrating the good he brought for us!

    THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND:
    Kobe averaged almost 30ppg and 10 rebs this series when there was hardcore defense and games were often ending in the 80s scorewise against 4 Hall of Famers of the Celtics (Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo) and also All NBA Defenders like Tony Allen, Rasheed Wallace with a bunch of role players and Pau Gasol, and most impressive of all is that he did this all with:
    - a broken finger (had to change shooting form mid-playoffs)
    - a sprained ankle
    - bad right knee
    - bone spur
    - tendon issue in wrist

      @@RobinXlone never. Lebron always played full matches, Kobe first 2-3 seasons was in the bench and played 15-20 minutes per game, it is much different. It means if he played full matches he would have more points than Lebron 100 now, would have much more assists than now and would have much better statistics. Also if wasn't his injury he would be play longer basketball and would be much better, after his injury his statistics were worse, it means that his injury destoryed his career forever. Seeing Kobe get his revenge against both the Pheonix Suns and Boston Celtics in the 2010 playoffs after both teams eliminated the Lakers in the 2006-2008 made this title so special.

    • @jameswalker6864
      @jameswalker6864 Год назад +2

      The 2006 Suns and 2006 Lakers had nothing to do with their 2010s versions, so it didn't let any "revenge" feeling. 2006 Suns had Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, Quentin Richardson, and Joe Johson (and none of them were in 2010), 2006 Lakers had no Gasol, so they were a non´-factor for the title. But both Lakers and Celtics didn't change much between 2008 and 2010, giving a real sense of revenge.

      Lebron is a SMARTER player. Yes he is more efficient because of his size and ability to get downhill to the basket. That does not make him a better player. Kobe can do just about everything you could need out of any player. He can shoot, pass, rebound, call plays, set up his teammates, he can draw doubles, triples. He can dribble. He is extremely effective for someone who took as many shots as he did, WHILE having injuries throughout his championship runs. Lebron has been incredibly healthy his entire career, and also takes a lot less jumpshots than kobe did. Yall need to look past stats and learn basketball. Just because brons stats are better dont make him the better player. If he was a better player wouldnt he have more rings than kobe? He did get swept by the Mavs, while Kobe beat them to win a chip. Lebron fans always have an excuse as to why he only has 3 rings and its always because of “lack of help” but if hes the “GOAT” isnt a D.Wade, Chris Bosh, Lebron team good enough to beat any team that year ?

    Shaq has played with both Kobe and Lebron and when he was asked “who is better Lebron or Michael”? He replied, “why does no one ever mention Kobe? It seems a bit disrespectful.” He said that the Mamba was on a level he has never seen before. The fact SHAQ is calling out the media for that just goes to show how important Kobe was to the Lakers and to Basketball in general. The media and Lebron fans like to dumb down Kobe’s accomplishments but at the end of the day, Mamba was a deadly weapon, The man scored 60+ points his final game, he holds the record for having the 2nd highest point game in NBA history (81). He has 5 rings 2 MVPS Shaq having the other 3 but even Shaq has said Kobe is better than him and doesn’t even want to be compared to Kobe. Shaq was an amazing player, very humble and very honest and I believe his word and the things he saw in training and on the court over some cushion warmers sitting behind a computer screen.

The way the game was close all the way through and ball being thrown cross court to Kobe, the finals MVP, to catch the ball in excitement and then standing on top of the table and cherish the moment to its fullest.

      Yeah. Many people say he isn't in top 10 and I don't know what other, bit for me if someone don't but Kobe in top 3,he is crazy, because statistics aren't everything. Kobe played with broken nouse, broken finger, and he never give up. Lebron can have much better statistics than Kobe, but in style of playing nobody can beat him and he would never have his mentality. Definitely my favourite player. If wasn't his injury he would also have great statistics. Msybe not like Lebron and MJ, but better statistics than now. Anyway, Kobe is better player than Lebron for me.

      @hristijandimitrovski8664 3 года назад

      @Mr Robinson Neighborhood ok, but I don't know how you understand me, I would NEVER EVER, EVER diss Kobe, I will always pick him over Lebron, I just said the reason why his statistics are soo weak is because he played first 2 seasons 20 minutes oer game, Lebron amd Jordan played full matches, Kobe had injury which destoryed his career forever, so I believe that without that injury Kobe would have more points per game than Lebron, even with that first 2 seasons from bench he would also have more points than Lebron, bit I don't care, statistics are nithing, NOTHING, Jimmy Bulter had this season 20 points per game, in finals before 6th game he had better statistics than Lebron and AD, statistics are nothing, statistics are important, but not the most important thing ever and not always are right, when it is most important, Kobe would be always the best and always better than Lebron, Lebron hasn't that mentality like Kobe, he can't wincthe game in the same levek like Kobe, Kobe had 36 winning shots which is recorder in NBA history, he has most points in his final game than anyone, 60, nobody is even closr to that score, he has 81 points in one game which is for me more impressive than 100 points from Wilt Chamberlain who only shooted under the basket, he is only player who had more points than one team after 3 quarters, many people would say Toronto was weak team, but that year Dallas played one of the best defense in the league and he out scored then, NOBODY OTHER FOR ME WOULD NEVER DO IT. That's why for me he is clearly the GOAT.

    Main reason I put Kobe above MJ and LeBron. He played in between both of their eras!!! Jordan the big men league where mid sized guards thrived and 3pt shooting league w less defense more fast pace offense where versatile bigs thrive. He faced both of their competition in his career while having to endure his prime with a mediocre team. I fee for him cuz he had the toughest road to greatness. But that’s why I think he’s the greatest. That’s what makes him so great it’s that kid that never stopped till he could do it. Motivates me like crazy he the epitome of what KG said. Yall remember Kobe's only 6'6", slight build, fairly small hands and decent hops. So basically his best physical gift as a basketball player is his height. But his best and utmost unfathomable attribute is his mental fortitude backed by an unquenchable work ethic. Vince Lombardi once said "Perfection is not attainable; but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence." In Kobe's case he chased perfection and became a legend.
