The front handle can be mounted straight off level with the top. Remove the back screws, rotate the handle horizontal, punch new holes for the back screws. Then you won't need the riser. I also moved the bottom tray that the tank sits on 1/2" back so the big 330 tanks fit in easy. The wheels aren't the best but they work, I upgraded the wheels.
i bought a red H.F tool box and modified it with like 7 or 8 inch solid tires from H.F . i like this black cart in your video Pete but i needed a bit more as in off roading for now at least so a wider deal was needed
I never knew the American brand welders are the small. As technology changes, parts get smaller. I just wish the price would shrink! Thanks Pete for this review.
Nice cart . I have the same welder 215 multimatic mig, tig, stick welder . I'm up in Canada think I got hosed on price over $4300 Canadian dollars 3 years ago.I'm needing a better cart . Thanks for the review Pete
Got the same cart on sale for 169. Hold my Lincoln handymig 140 no problem. It is high quality for the money. Has it two years now and still in great shape
Unfortunately, when I went to go buy my welder cabinet this one was out of stock, so I went with the Vulcan. It works but I wish i had the toolbox for all the tips and everything. I have a Lincoln mp215. It's a multiprocessing unit.
You should’ve bought the bigger one. I got one for my tig welder and plasma cutter and it’s a very nice rolling cabinet. And no, my welder and plasma arc aren’t the harbor freight ones!👍👍
Tools and equipment that was made in the old days were top notch quality and made in America. Today they slap a sticker on chinesium crap and call it Chicago
@@diyautoschool no I didn’t. I always thought suck meant to like suck something through a straw or that something was bad, but how words are used today nothing would surprise me since we live in a world where people don’t even know what gender they are. I’ll never conform to their bs.
thats the same chinese junk as my Arebos brand 9 drawer tooldbox but u know what my friend pete, i´m also happy as f with it, lubed the wheels with wd40, sprayed it all with surface shield and overloaded it with cheap chinese chrome vanadium tools !
All the cabinets and tables I see at harbor freight are janky and cheap looking. They do have a lot of good products that work for what you need them to do, but they have some cheap crappy stuff too!
Ok 2nd time trying to post a comment........ Pete I have had the HFT welding cart for 8 yrs I modifed mine to be all terrian so it can roll over grass and dirt cause I get many different kinds of welding jobs... From a quarter panel to a dual axle trailer... It has a Mig 250 welder bolted on so its not easy to steal...3 rolls of wire and all tools and I added a stainles steel spray bottle holder form a gas bbq for my propane torch and antisplatter spray...with a magnetic strip to hold mig pliers and other tools. With a 125CF gas bottle it rolls nice and easy.... At what I paid $189 it was well worth the price... I dont think any of the big welder companys can make a cart like it for under $1000.

What did you upgrade the stock wheels with?
Good on you for not buying the extended warranty on the cart. You should ask if they offer one on your next pair of jeans.
your heading said the cart sucks, where does it fail for it to suck ?

I actually like that! Mine is open on the bottom with no drawers. Stuff always falling off when I move it around 😅

Good deal. Thanks Pete.
I watch the ads on your channel to support your channel. 😁👍
Picked one of these up to organize my welding hobby stuff. It was $72 off yesterday, couldn't pass it up.
Happy Weekend Pete & Minnie !
Thanks pete looks like a nice cart.

Thank you for sharing.👍

The only complaint I have with mine is the finish. You can see sanding mark under the paint. Other than that, its excellent for the price.
Mine works great.😊
It sucks because it has the name Chicago on it

peel it off if you care so much about brands
Didn't you get a vevor welder
👍👍👍
Pete, I will send you some needles and thread.
Hello P&M
Why did the title of your video say it sucks? It looks like you like it.
That’s the new word for awesome. You didn’t know?? Kinda like SICK is cool.
