I wish this wasn't the case - its why I don't like it when people complement me for losing weight. You never know what someone is going through - thanks for sharing. You look amazing btw - live in a body you can maintain healthily rather than a frame that will be difficult to maintain ❤
I love this video and the natural flow of it! Love how you’re so much just being yourself, I relate to you a lot especially from an adhd perspective. Gotta say I was impressed by the dresses, you really got 4 different designs down with the tailor, even if they’re not exactly as you wanted. I’ve been thinking of getting my clothes tailored and this spiked my confidence!
I would be apprehensive to go all the way there and then pick a fabric out of the millions upon millions and then hope they get the vision i had for the dress right within the time limit I'm there. Lol im stressed already. But yours turned out great!
We do have those exercise parks in Canada! I think a few more popped up in 2020, but I've seen them in multiple parks in the GTA/York Region. You could contact your city/city councillor and put in a suggestion to get some of the equipment at your local park(s)!
People have clothing made in countries like Viet Nam, Thailand, etc., and are happy with the items. I really liked your videos making furniture and decor for your apartment.
thank you! I'm glad they all turned out :). I started with her a few days in advance of my last day but basically every tailor shop advertised making dresses in 24 hours. I guess it's common for tourists to come for a day or two and get things made!
I sew so I would have an advantage over you. I would have had patterns in styles I wanted and known exactly how much fabric needed. You did good without not knowing how to sew
I don't know how you do it. My anxiety seeing all those people. And the fabrics to choose from is overwhelming for me. I just had to take my Xanax right now even though it's not happening to me. The dresses look looked nice on you.
Personally I think the dresses looked beautiful and you were a bit harsh on her, She had very little initial guidance, and even with measurements it is never going to be perfect first time.
I provided her with a really detailed breakdown that was visual with photos and descriptions. My issue wasn't really with how any of them looked (as 3 of 4 of them looked and fit great) but more so with the encouragement to accept an awkward fit. 🙃
I remember that you said that you are a Muslim woman, and I do not understand why the clothes are not more modest. By that, I do not mean the head covering and the hijab. I do not mean that there is no need to show the chest, back, and legs.
I assume you too are muslim? If so, salam sister. I think it's about everybody making decisions for themselves and understanding that the consequences are between themselves and God.

hahah! In my head it didn't seem very stressful... in reality... well, that was a different story.
Daila: "I was feeling overwhelmed"
Me: "Well, yeah, that's crazy overwhelming!"
haha! 🙃 Glad I'm not alone.

I think they all look great, but that's my personal taste. Not her fault that you decided to do this on your last day there

Well, you are so beautiful and gorgeous that all the dresses look beautiful and gorgeous!

I suddenly gained a lot of weight earlier this year and have not lost it. This made me feel more normal for accepting my bigger body.
How much were they?
they were about $100 each. I asked a few tailors out of curiosity and some were cheaper and some slightly more expensive.
