Radahn is literally connected to every questline , dude is strong as f*** and has my respect , probably one of the best bosses in the game for me after morgott 🗿

For anyone having the issue of fia not giving the dagger you must teleport into the open world 3 to 5 times and use her blessing. The option should appear on the 4th 5th hug.
I didn't meet D in Limgrave, don't know if he's bugged or what, because it's the second playthrough i can't see him where he should be, and didn't get the dagger
I actually totally missed out on the first parts of the quests. I already burned the tree before trying to complete the quests. I was able to complete Ranni’s quest and that gave me the tool to access the study hall and get the centipede mark. Fia leaves the Round table area to go to the deep root area. You can finish the entire quest line without doing much with her in the beginning.
@Pargona I will tell you what I did I just talked with d at first for a couple of times,never met his brother never did Any quest got to the mountain top burned the tree came to deep root and completed fia quest as I already had completed rani quest
Same for me but I already completed the game and was still able to complete her quest. Completely avoided all of the earlier steps and picked up right where you fight her champions etc
If you don’t want to fight the twin gargoyles you can go the long way and traverse the Subterranean Shinning Grounds beneath Leyndell’s sewers. Traverse the tunnel maze heading downward toward the bottom. You will have to fight a different boss at the bottom (Story spoiler boss so won’t mention who it is) but he is waaaay easier than fighting the gargoyles. Talk to Melina at the grace point if you choose for lore and story stuff. Then beat the boss. After beating the boss sit at the grace and you can talk to Melina one more time. Strike the shrine in the boss room to reveal a hidden staircase. Traverse the ledge drop puzzle all the way to the bottom until you reach the Pizza looking Door. DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE DOOR UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING TO DO THE FRENZIED FLAME ENDING! Instead, before the Pizza Door on the right side of the room near the grace is an illusionary wall. Strike it and follow the path down it will lead you to another grace that leads you into Deeproot.

Bout to go fight the fire giant, but thought I'd double check a few things and tie up loose ends before going into what I'm fairly certain is the endgame (doing this run blind, except for the questlines, there's a fat chance I'm doing those w/o a guide. Ms "call me when you need me" Millicent pulling up on the dominula village when she was in the middle of the erd tree gazing hill after helping along with BGB & GHT with a magma making wyrm (dectus lift skip) is out in the middle of damn nowhere! Same goes for fia, how the hell did people find this stuff for her pocket dimensions within pocket dimensions. At least with ranni despite the tail end of her stuff doing that, her endgame of quests is still linear in the sense that you just have to get from point A-B once you start down Renna's Rise portal
@@wholesome_masochist4113 It's not that hard to find the entrance to the hidden stuff beneath the sewer if you are the type to explore every tunnel, and by that point in the game you probably worked out that there are many illusory walls and the catacombs ones all look similar; however, the parkour needed to get to the bottom of the pit, and what you find down there, is so amazing it's easy to forget to check for false walls. It does help if you've played other FromSoft Souls games because you learn that secret areas often have secret areas.
I think fighting the boss at the subterranean shunning grounds and the area itself is pretty difficult. But the gargoyles .. there are a few crucible knights leading up to that area. I guess, there's the thing with advancing D's questline that's actually important to Fia's so.... Because that NPC is right in front of that boss room.
It looks good! But it’s crap. Holy damage late game is terrible and this weapon requires 18/18 STR/DEX for minimal return as well. Can’t change the Ash either. Early on, there are more damaging Greatswords if you put Sacred Blade on it.
I'm glad you went into detail about the other quests you'll get locked out of. Someone should make a timeline thing or a wiki page of the ideal order to do all the quests... if there isn't one already. Unrelated to Fia or the affected questlines, but I missed out on obtaining Varre's white mask because of having done something out of order. Oh, and missed out on getting a dung puppet too.
@quell I’ve finished all of the FromSoft games besides Bloodborne and Demon Souls. There’s a major difference between “messing something up” and players having to constantly guess if doing one quest first will result in another quest giver randomly dying, locking out that section until a NG (Ex. Rodger and Ranni, Fia and D, Ranni and Selvis). The fact that you’re on this guide video proves that it is extremely difficult to understand these quests without 3rd party guides. I’m not saying there should be Ubisoft levels of markers and info, but there is a clear need for at least a vague quest log with suggested locations. They did not intend the game to have mandatory multiple play-throughs, and this belief isn’t uncommon as noted by them adding in quest NPCs locations on the map. So, how about you quit condescendingly gatekeeping the way a video game is supposed to be played, and recognize that not everyone has as much free time as you for multiple NGs?

Tip now for Radahn fight, use the rot breath incantation, once as soon as you can and a second time in phase two asap. A full blast each time and then run for your life as far from him as possible and keep summoning as much as possible. Do this and you can beat Radahn without getting hit, I usually get tagged once or twice right in the beginning but I've done it without being hit too. You just need one dragon heart (you can get 5 for easily killing the huge dragon outside fort faroth with a bleed weapon), any seal to cast rot breath and if you don't meet the faith and arcane requirements pop a rune arc with Godrick's great rune and use the two fingers heirloom talisman found in the lakeside ruins. Bonus, the same "inflict rot and run away" tactic works on the Fire Giant too.
I just finished fias questline and wanted D's weapon. I hadn't given the armor to his brother before killing fia. Well I went ahead and gave him the armor and warped back to the site of grace next to fias body and his brother was luckily there. I didn't even have to kill him to get the armor and weapon back.
I loved that dragon fight. It was tough as all hell but it was very nice. Granted I am only at the mountaintop now but so far it has been the best fight for me

After doing both rannies and fias questline the game just feels empty as so many characters die its nuts but i love it....... man this game is perfection.

Just a little tip, you can get the last piece of fias armor in Leyndell along with Lionels armor. I assume its tied to finishing her quest, but you can find the deathbed dress in the "Lower capital church" theres even a grace in that church. Easy path to it from the avenue balcony grace but be careful bc there is an omenkiller on the path
wow I didn't know about this quest at all and randomly did missions related to it without even knowing. I did Ranni's quest even tho I'm doing the Chaos ending because I wanted the once per story armor/weapons etc. I didn't know about the secret boss in the Black Knife Catacombs and I'm pretty sure Rogier died already or something in my story because I'm at the final boss right now. I did the fight anyway and now I have the black knifeprint for no reason lol. By the time I found this video I had already got to Fia and fought the secret dragon. Then Fia died and I got her hood and robe. All I could do after that was backtrack to where D's brother was and give him his brother's armor set. Then I fast traveled back to where Fia was and saw him, listened to his speech, reloaded and was able to get his sword and the armor set. So I guess I just missed out on finishing Rogier's quest but I'll probably just do it in NG+

You don’t actually have to do most of the stuff in this video, in my game I didn’t speak to fia once until I found her at deep root depths, and I only spoke to D at the round table hold, and I just kinda picked up the death bed curse just by playing the game, and that’s basically all that I did. That’s all u have to do for this quest.
in case you already finished the game in your save and never talked to her, just go straight to where Fia is (her last location) and you'll fight few small bosses (her champions and Rogier) then you can just talk to her, give her the curse deathmark and do as he says to fight Fortissax and get the trophy, that's what happened for me just now

I beat the twin gargoyles last night!!! Holy shit I hated those guys so much! I felt such relief 😌 took at least 15 trys even using the fall off the edge trick. Btw that only works on the first guy you have to beat the second one the old fashion way
So i killed D at the start of the game and after finishing fias quest line I gave the armor set to D´s brother and noticed he was not showing up near fias body so I went to pay him a visit near the gargoyle boss and he was hostile forwards me (for killing his brother) and was only wearing his sword. I killed him and still got his sword and the armor set back. In case anyone was having the same problem.

Just a heads up you can reach deep root depths through the sewers, without involving yourself with Ranni at all. Hidden wall in the frenzy lords chamber.
Dude, I talked to Fia once, she gave the first hug and I used the rune and forgot about her. Then I defeated the Elden Beast, and decided to give her questline a try. Found her in the underground and did the last steps, got everything!
I don't know if this is from a recent patch: You can complete Fia's Quest without even interacting with D or Fia at the roundtable hold. Today I wanted Fortisax's Rememberance and forgot to do anything from Fia's Quest until I defeated Gideon Offnir. Fia was gone D was dead in that room next to Blacksmith. (you get his armor but not the sword) I then remembered you can enter deeprot depths through the 3 fingers (chaos ending) grace. I continued doing that and in the end found Fia below Godfrey defeated the champions, rogier and lionel. The rest of the quest can be followed from there except you only need the cursemark after giving ranni the finger slayer blade. The teleporter next to Fia is also not working for some reason. Anyways thought someone would use this information since I needed it. Edit : I read the caption with these solutions later so the OP did their job.
If you have troubles with the gargoyles there is a way for them to jump off the map lead them to the waterfall that is on the right side next to the door
There is two alternative fixes to one issue many might stumble upon, You will not get the dagger from Fia. Solution number 1: Go Fort Haigh and Fort Faroth to gather the two elevator pieces to get to altus plateu and just rest at the nearest grace, Teleport back to the roundtable hold and get hugged she will give you it that is guaranteed. Solution Number 2: Activate the Radahn festival and then kill him and that should be it. I chose to do the elevator for the convienience for later usage of grace up there. If this do not work just go a bit around and speak with rogier and D to make sure they are also up to speed of where you need to be.
Two back to back boss fights that are insanely tough at the end of the questline First Fia’s champions that gank you, then Lichdragon Fortissax who you can only lock onto the head and body of, not the legs even though the legs are the most likely spot to hit since getting near his head is a death sentence and you aren’t big enough to hit his body…WHO DESIGNED THAT FIGHT?!

In a game that gives you no quest markers, quest trackers, or does anything at all to tell you what youve done has started a quest, it is frustrating that the act of doing a quest "too far" locks you out of other quests
So I went to get the finger slayer blade but it says I’m not Destined to open the chest. I figured maybe it’s cause I’ve never even talked to Ranni before so I went to her tower and tried talking to her but she just talked about the curse mark of death and ended with how she doesn’t have it but won’t speak more. How do I progress?
@@ItsShatter yeah no kidding and I tend to lose track of things I start. Since this game has no type of journal to keep track, I get jumbled up in tons of quests I never complete before it’s too late. Like killing mohg before getting the white mask which is necessary for my blood build 😭
Soni finished the game and got ranni's ending. Now I'm just doing clean up before my new Journey. Got fia and defeated her champion. Got a blessing.. not the radiant one. Nothing happened. I gave d's brother the armor after and now he isn't there but fia is still alive and chilling at deeproot.
Not sure what I missed but The portal next to FIA even after entering her dream and killing the Dragon is still not active, is there any way to activate it after she's dead and tree is burning?
@@Ahzathoth This is correct. The tp deactivates when you burn the erdtree. It's really only there to serve as a 4th secret way to get to Altus plateau if you haven't been there already.

Completed Fia's quest before fighting final boss of game and after I had collected all her items. Everything worked just as in video above. Blasphemous Blade works great and so does Black Blade incantation; to beat Fortissax. Had Rogier's sword lvl 12 as back up but it was not as powerful. tx for vid

Also only mentioning this because I haven’t seen it in the video but after I gave D’s brother the armour, he was available as a summon during the gargoyle fight making it a lot easier. This might have been added in the newest patch.
Suggest for who cant beat lichdragon by melee or dont have any range skill. just runaway and shot bow on it. So easy. it never run at you just slow walk like going for some milk.
I hate these gargoyles there impossible no matter ur build lev skill armor u die in just maybe 3 hits depending on ur vig it’s the most frustrating unbalanced bs game ever made gives me bad anxiety panic attacks n makes me want to chuck my system out into on going traffic with this abomination of a game in it. Does she die when you beat the boss and get the rune? Because if you have not given D's brother the armor, when you rest at the site of grace she is just lie there and you can't interact with her in any way and you get her set regardless of the fact D's Brother is not there... Further if you give him the armor then, what he says at the end is something about joining D and embracing his fate or something like that. So does he kill himself after or what?

Someone probably already mentioned this, but if she doesn't show up dead after resting at the site of grace, then fast travel above ground and then come back. That worked for me.
The reason you didn't get the dialog for the Black Knife and get the map is because you must complete Sorcerer Rogier Questline as well at least up to a point. All 3 plots are linked. Summon in boss fight for Margot Find in Stormville at the Church before killing Godrick speak to and buy spells (if you want them now is the time to get them) Defeat Godrick Speak to him at the roundtable on the balcony Go under the castle and defeat the Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit Find the ancient rotting face and the bloodstain before it Activate the bloodstain to view the memory Return to Rogier and speak to him Speak to Fia and collect the map Go to Black Knife Catacombs and defeat the hidden boss Return to Rogier and show him the knife print Sit and bonfire and speak to him again After this the 2 questlines are no longer linked
Fun tip all you need is the curse mark of death from ranni and burn the tree once its burned and the doors open in the round table and you can grab the armor and head straight to Ds brother give him the armor and continue from there.

8:30 it's worth noting that giving D's armour to his brother before the gargoyles will let you summon D for the fight, making it a lot less tedious.

Bout to go fight the fire giant, but thought I'd double check a few things and tie up loose ends before going into what I'm fairly certain is the endgame (doing this run blind, except for the questlines, there's a fat chance I'm doing those w/o a guide. Ms "call me when you need me" Millicent pulling up on the dominula village when she was in the middle of the erd tree gazing hill after helping along with BGB & GHT with a magma making wyrm (dectus lift skip) is out in the middle of damn nowhere! Same goes for fia, how the hell did people find this stuff for her pocket dimensions within pocket dimensions. At least with ranni despite the tail end of her stuff doing that, her endgame of quests is still linear in the sense that you just have to get from point A-B once you start down Renna's Rise portal

@@wholesome_masochist4113 It's not that hard to find the entrance to the hidden stuff beneath the sewer if you are the type to explore every tunnel, and by that point in the game you probably worked out that there are many illusory walls and the catacombs ones all look similar; however, the parkour needed to get to the bottom of the pit, and what you find down there, is so amazing it's easy to forget to check for false walls. It does help if you've played other FromSoft Souls games because you learn that secret areas often have secret areas.
I think fighting the boss at the subterranean shunning grounds and the area itself is pretty difficult.
But the gargoyles .. there are a few crucible knights leading up to that area.
I guess, there's the thing with advancing D's questline that's actually important to Fia's so....
Because that NPC is right in front of that boss room.
what an emotional rollercoaster this quest was... oh how this game toys with my poor heart...
The sword you get from D is honestly one of my favorites in Elden Ring! It may not have the best stats but it looks awesome!

It looks good! But it’s crap. Holy damage late game is terrible and this weapon requires 18/18 STR/DEX for minimal return as well. Can’t change the Ash either.
Early on, there are more damaging Greatswords if you put Sacred Blade on it.

I'm glad you went into detail about the other quests you'll get locked out of. Someone should make a timeline thing or a wiki page of the ideal order to do all the quests... if there isn't one already. Unrelated to Fia or the affected questlines, but I missed out on obtaining Varre's white mask because of having done something out of order. Oh, and missed out on getting a dung puppet too.

@quell I’ve finished all of the FromSoft games besides Bloodborne and Demon Souls. There’s a major difference between “messing something up” and players having to constantly guess if doing one quest first will result in another quest giver randomly dying, locking out that section until a NG (Ex. Rodger and Ranni, Fia and D, Ranni and Selvis). The fact that you’re on this guide video proves that it is extremely difficult to understand these quests without 3rd party guides. I’m not saying there should be Ubisoft levels of markers and info, but there is a clear need for at least a vague quest log with suggested locations. They did not intend the game to have mandatory multiple play-throughs, and this belief isn’t uncommon as noted by them adding in quest NPCs locations on the map. So, how about you quit condescendingly gatekeeping the way a video game is supposed to be played, and recognize that not everyone has as much free time as you for multiple NGs?

If you wanted to you probably could complete the quest on your current playthrough. Unless you’re gonna start a new character entirely.
Just skip to where she’s at the deeproot depths spot and get the curse mark of death from Ranni’s quest.

Tip now for Radahn fight, use the rot breath incantation, once as soon as you can and a second time in phase two asap. A full blast each time and then run for your life as far from him as possible and keep summoning as much as possible. Do this and you can beat Radahn without getting hit, I usually get tagged once or twice right in the beginning but I've done it without being hit too. You just need one dragon heart (you can get 5 for easily killing the huge dragon outside fort faroth with a bleed weapon), any seal to cast rot breath and if you don't meet the faith and arcane requirements pop a rune arc with Godrick's great rune and use the two fingers heirloom talisman found in the lakeside ruins.
Bonus, the same "inflict rot and run away" tactic works on the Fire Giant too.

I just finished fias questline and wanted D's weapon. I hadn't given the armor to his brother before killing fia. Well I went ahead and gave him the armor and warped back to the site of grace next to fias body and his brother was luckily there. I didn't even have to kill him to get the armor and weapon back.

I loved that dragon fight. It was tough as all hell but it was very nice. Granted I am only at the mountaintop now but so far it has been the best fight for me

Just a little tip, you can get the last piece of fias armor in Leyndell along with Lionels armor. I assume its tied to finishing her quest, but you can find the deathbed dress in the "Lower capital church" theres even a grace in that church. Easy path to it from the avenue balcony grace but be careful bc there is an omenkiller on the path

wow I didn't know about this quest at all and randomly did missions related to it without even knowing. I did Ranni's quest even tho I'm doing the Chaos ending because I wanted the once per story armor/weapons etc. I didn't know about the secret boss in the Black Knife Catacombs and I'm pretty sure Rogier died already or something in my story because I'm at the final boss right now. I did the fight anyway and now I have the black knifeprint for no reason lol.
By the time I found this video I had already got to Fia and fought the secret dragon. Then Fia died and I got her hood and robe. All I could do after that was backtrack to where D's brother was and give him his brother's armor set. Then I fast traveled back to where Fia was and saw him, listened to his speech, reloaded and was able to get his sword and the armor set. So I guess I just missed out on finishing Rogier's quest but I'll probably just do it in NG+
When I saw D's brother mocking Fia I literally went on a rampage

Turns out I did half of Dias quest organically already didn’t know about that black knife catacombs secret boss.
You don’t actually have to do most of the stuff in this video, in my game I didn’t speak to fia once until I found her at deep root depths, and I only spoke to D at the round table hold, and I just kinda picked up the death bed curse just by playing the game, and that’s basically all that I did. That’s all u have to do for this quest.

in case you already finished the game in your save and never talked to her, just go straight to where Fia is (her last location) and you'll fight few small bosses (her champions and Rogier) then you can just talk to her, give her the curse deathmark and do as he says to fight Fortissax and get the trophy, that's what happened for me just now

I beat the twin gargoyles last night!!! Holy shit I hated those guys so much! I felt such relief 😌 took at least 15 trys even using the fall off the edge trick. Btw that only works on the first guy you have to beat the second one the old fashion way
Gargoyles are really quite easy in my opinion I guess it just depend what build you have.

So i killed D at the start of the game and after finishing fias quest line I gave the armor set to D´s brother and noticed he was not showing up near fias body so I went to pay him a visit near the gargoyle boss and he was hostile forwards me (for killing his brother) and was only wearing his sword. I killed him and still got his sword and the armor set back. In case anyone was having the same problem.

Dude, I talked to Fia once, she gave the first hug and I used the rune and forgot about her. Then I defeated the Elden Beast, and decided to give her questline a try. Found her in the underground and did the last steps, got everything!

I don't know if this is from a recent patch:
You can complete Fia's Quest without even interacting with D or Fia at the roundtable hold.
Today I wanted Fortisax's Rememberance and forgot to do anything from Fia's Quest until I defeated Gideon Offnir. Fia was gone D was dead in that room next to Blacksmith. (you get his armor but not the sword)
I then remembered you can enter deeprot depths through the 3 fingers (chaos ending) grace.
I continued doing that and in the end found Fia below Godfrey defeated the champions, rogier and lionel.
The rest of the quest can be followed from there except you only need the cursemark after giving ranni the finger slayer blade.
The teleporter next to Fia is also not working for some reason.
Anyways thought someone would use this information since I needed it.
Edit : I read the caption with these solutions later so the OP did their job.

If you have troubles with the gargoyles there is a way for them to jump off the map lead them to the waterfall that is on the right side next to the door
There is two alternative fixes to one issue many might stumble upon, You will not get the dagger from Fia.
Solution number 1: Go Fort Haigh and Fort Faroth to gather the two elevator pieces to get to altus plateu and just rest at the nearest grace, Teleport back to the roundtable hold and get hugged she will give you it that is guaranteed.
Solution Number 2: Activate the Radahn festival and then kill him and that should be it.
I chose to do the elevator for the convienience for later usage of grace up there.
If this do not work just go a bit around and speak with rogier and D to make sure they are also up to speed of where you need to be.
Now I truly am maidenless.

Two back to back boss fights that are insanely tough at the end of the questline
First Fia’s champions that gank you, then Lichdragon Fortissax who you can only lock onto the head and body of, not the legs even though the legs are the most likely spot to hit since getting near his head is a death sentence and you aren’t big enough to hit his body…WHO DESIGNED THAT FIGHT?!

In a game that gives you no quest markers, quest trackers, or does anything at all to tell you what youve done has started a quest, it is frustrating that the act of doing a quest "too far" locks you out of other quests

So I went to get the finger slayer blade but it says I’m not Destined to open the chest. I figured maybe it’s cause I’ve never even talked to Ranni before so I went to her tower and tried talking to her but she just talked about the curse mark of death and ended with how she doesn’t have it but won’t speak more. How do I progress?

Soni finished the game and got ranni's ending. Now I'm just doing clean up before my new Journey. Got fia and defeated her champion. Got a blessing.. not the radiant one. Nothing happened. I gave d's brother the armor after and now he isn't there but fia is still alive and chilling at deeproot.

Not sure what I missed but The portal next to FIA even after entering her dream and killing the Dragon is still not active, is there any way to activate it after she's dead and tree is burning?
This tp is relatively useless. It ports you to the chapel in Lyndel near the first site of grace after crossing the bridge into the city.
@@Ahzathoth This is correct. The tp deactivates when you burn the erdtree. It's really only there to serve as a 4th secret way to get to Altus plateau if you haven't been there already.

Completed Fia's quest before fighting final boss of game and after I had collected all her items. Everything worked just as in video above. Blasphemous Blade works great and so does Black Blade incantation; to beat Fortissax. Had Rogier's sword lvl 12 as back up but it was not as powerful. tx for vid

Also only mentioning this because I haven’t seen it in the video but after I gave D’s brother the armour, he was available as a summon during the gargoyle fight making it a lot easier. This might have been added in the newest patch.

I hate these gargoyles there impossible no matter ur build lev skill armor u die in just maybe 3 hits depending on ur vig it’s the most frustrating unbalanced bs game ever made gives me bad anxiety panic attacks n makes me want to chuck my system out into on going traffic with this abomination of a game in it. Update finally beat em after leveling up a lot was lev 50 something now I’m lev 87 n used 2 coops took 3 attempts but there beat n no I didn’t feel good about it it wasn’t enjoyable at all

Does she die when you beat the boss and get the rune? Because if you have not given D's brother the armor, when you rest at the site of grace she is just lie there and you can't interact with her in any way and you get her set regardless of the fact D's Brother is not there...
Further if you give him the armor then, what he says at the end is something about joining D and embracing his fate or something like that. So does he kill himself after or what?
I think he does fade away/disappear. He definitely leaves the armor and weapon behind.

Someone probably already mentioned this, but if she doesn't show up dead after resting at the site of grace, then fast travel above ground and then come back. That worked for me.
The reason you didn't get the dialog for the Black Knife and get the map is because you must complete Sorcerer Rogier Questline as well at least up to a point. All 3 plots are linked.
Summon in boss fight for Margot
Find in Stormville at the Church before killing Godrick speak to and buy spells (if you want them now is the time to get them)
Defeat Godrick
Speak to him at the roundtable on the balcony
Go under the castle and defeat the Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit
Find the ancient rotting face and the bloodstain before it
Activate the bloodstain to view the memory
Return to Rogier and speak to him
Speak to Fia and collect the map
Go to Black Knife Catacombs and defeat the hidden boss
Return to Rogier and show him the knife print
Sit and bonfire and speak to him again
After this the 2 questlines are no longer linked

Fun tip all you need is the curse mark of death from ranni and burn the tree once its burned and the doors open in the round table and you can grab the armor and head straight to Ds brother give him the armor and continue from there.
Fia Is not showing up at the "prince of death's throne" site of grace. gave armor to brother and completed this fight. not sure what i did wrong. any advise is great. thank you for your content.
