Moreland Glass

  • Here is Moreland’s new unit 11 which is the designated glass unit. Recently the in-house team were treated to a fleet of new Volvos to replace some of the ageing Ivecos they had running. I think they picked the perfect body size for the glass service as I can’t see them filling it up given that the glass bins are very sparsely located on collection day, as you can see here. The rig is seen here racing through the Friday job in Fawkner with a top one arm operator at the wheel. I did catch up with a few older units on this morning so you can expect to see that on here at some point as well.

    Awesome, Love how smooth the driver is. This signage looks especially good on the Glass bins. Nice shots and great angles. Nice one, keep it up!

    Why was he driving so fast? Great vidwo mate, really enjoyed the smash from each glass bin that was lifted. Well done. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends. And a happy new year.

    Oh boo!
    U bet me to it haha.
    Seems to run pretty good, fast operator as well. Big difference to the massive 29m citywide have on it, and we had a 35 do it once. I’ll be headed up on Wednesday for it

      I think this is the perfect size for glass, 35 is way to big for this unless you’ve got more bins out

      @@GunzelingGarbo102yea I reckon 2783 was a good choice for glass. The 35m was only doing at as it was a late end of day run and they wanted it done.

    Awesome job mate, loved seeing this little Volvo bombing around those streets. Interesting that the council chose the exhaust stacks for these trucks as they're pretty unusual.

    well, i never expected to see a bin just for glass. i assume it is just for glass. so how many bins do the people of fawkner now have? we are going to get an organic matter bin at some time in the future so that will make 3 for me here in perth. there is no suggestion of a glass bin anywhere in perth that i know of. how many districts in melbourne have or will have glass bins?

      This place is in VIC. Some councils have 4 bins. Recycle, garbage, FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) and glass which is what we can see getting collected here.

    • @GunzelingGarbo102
      @GunzelingGarbo102  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah mate these are for glass only, although no doubt people contaminate them with general rubbish. Most places in vic have the three bins, however they will all eventually have four of them.
