  • Quick look at one of the trucks from the previous Moreland fleet, the council have had their new trucks in service for some time now but still use these older Acco/Spak units as spares and for certain runs. The remaining old trucks have been refurbished with new lifters council signage being fitted. This is a look at unit 23 (renumbered unit 8) finishing up a green waste job in Fawkner during the late morning of a Friday. The truck has a bit of an exhaust leak as I’m sure you can tell, was insanely loud in person!

    2822 is a good solid unit still runs real well, good to see it on greens as it’s mostly on garbage. Nice work mate.

    is truck 17 (dont knopw what it was renumbered as) still in service or scrapped?

      Still runs as 17

      @@Bendigo_garbo You will find that a lot of the old accos from the former fleet have been retained. From I believe, 7-9 were kept and renumbered and a mini axle GenV number 12. The last time i saw that was recently. It did recycle which was headed towards Visy Bellfield to tip off.
      17-19 are also still around with their original numbers
