Bit of a look at Solo unit 1930 running recycling in Boroondara.
This shot about a year ago, things have changed a bit now with all the new trucks taking their places, these old rigs have been put out of business. Was cool to get them while they were around though.

Love the truck comparison from 8:10, what a speed contrast that was! 😂 Boroondara must be one of my favourite Melbourne councils to see videos from, always love the long tree lined streets, seems like such a nice area... looked even cooler when the green waste bins had orange lids 👌 Glad you got this truck, refreshing to see and listen to, even operating at idle it's nice to hear that hydraulic whirring with some grunt behind it. I reckon the first 15sec of engine audio here was more enjoyable than what you get from 10min of a Euro 5 ACCO sound haha

Haha didn’t take the in-house dude long to go “fuck this shit” and wiz passed! Such a nice area but it’s been my least favourite to record videos in, loads of entitled rich people yelling at us. Spewing I missed getting onto it when they had the red lids. This was a mint truck to shoot, made sure to include a couple more exhaust side shots because I know some people appreciate them :)
