Because Oasis have massive appeal. They released great music that made a huge impact. They had a great message to believe in yourself and most of the songs were very positive and uplifting and they brought back rock n roll after 80's hair metal, grunge and rave music had been ruling the charts. And no-one has come along since and so Generation Z love them for it hence the demand. Simple.
They are a true phenomenon. The energy they created from their debut album never died and bubbled under the surface even when they had split up for 15 years. Its like a juggernaut
I’m American and I friggin love these boys! So much better than the melancholy, grungy, woe-is-me, BS that was coming out in America at that time. That’s a generalization of course. There was tons of great stuff from American bands in the 90’s. But not a single one sang the catchy AF, relatable, optimistic songs like Oasis did. And none came close to having that cool, rock star, cock-strong bravado!
Bed time hung I ever heard him so. Then he went and hung out with Tony Blair. Which he’s since regretted and rightfully so. It’s what turned me off to Noel. Showed who he was.
It’s really not rocket science, they were a great band, two great personalities , defined their era. And since splitting up had massive success as solo artists, more so than any spice girl or take that member. Robbie came pretty close though. I love that fact that some people hate them and want them to fail , because I know they haven’t and won’t 🖕the biggest band of the next few years was and is the biggest band of the the 90s and most of the 00s and I love it 😂❤ and I love the fact that some of you hate it 😂😂😂
@@jaredcook4577 not really, Robbie’s has been solo since the mid 90s liams been solo since 2017, so not really a fair comparison . They’ve both so,d out massive solo gigs , headlined big festivals etc, had no 1 records, but one’s been doing it for over 20 years, one has been doing it for less than 10yrs. But Robbie did smash it in the early 00s , good on him,Robbie had some good tunes, lazy days, feel, come undone, no regrets. But he’s not even close to the same level as oasis/ Liam/noel. I moved to London in the early 2000s and spent 10 years there before moving to Sydney. Having been a product of a shitty coal mining village in Nottm'shire, I put some of that down to them being such an influence on me. For some of us working-class folk felt like we could get out of the environment we were in. Sadly tho, I spent 6 hours trying to get tickets. The working class heritage is now an inevitable billion-quid machine. Can't knock them for cashing in but don't be fooled it's like it was.
They are just too big when they are together . People with deep pockets from all corners of world want to visit UK just to see them . They both tour as much as they want and only where they want , so my guess is that they won't be doing more than contracted and they will go back to their solo projects after UK tour.
I'm referring to the extortionate ticket prices created that could have easily been avoided if the band and it's management had acted responsibly. And yes they are not the only ones. It's called taking the pi ss.

It is a shame that Oasis are getting back together for the money, this could be an oppurtunity for them to help working class organisations, trade unions, advocates for industrial democracy etc. Should raise money to help communities and fund stuff for education or trades and things. Bit of class unity etc. Just a thought

so many people can relate to their songs. Noel wrote such meaningful lyrics
👍👍
Noel wrote a lot of good stuff back in the 90s and Liam is a legendary frontman

He also wrote amazing nonsense lyrics. Just like Lennon
lol, that, most of his lyrics are gibberish, he admits himself. But melodies are spot on.

Because of their songs. Period. 😊😊

MY FAVORITE BAND IS BACK .# OASIS RULES ❤
Been listening to Oasis since 90s. ‘Whatever’ really lift my self esteem in my younger years.
Great comment about Brit pop , 👍 some folks think the term is a genre 😂
if The Kinks with their brotherly rivalry and still get along and do it for years so can Oasis i wish them well
The "corporate pigs" comment from Noel aged well. Re - all the corporate tickets they churned out last week with ticketmaster!!

it's simple OASIS are just an awesome band 2002 and under 👍🏻👍🏻

I think Robbie Williams enjoyed more solo success than Liam

Because they were honest, worked hard to get to the top and nothing better has come out in 3 decades.
+/- How many concerts in until they break up?
A working class band with middle class ticket prices. 👎
streaming for songs where artistes get paid less than a penny-what class is that?
What middle class?

When are the Spice Girls reuniting?
Yeah, he hit the nail on the head there. Oasis are the Beatles for the 50's and under.
We are talking about bands. Oasis are a band. Spice girls were a product, a project, a job.😂

Hell, you'd be a lucrative band too, if you plagiarized rock n roll's entire catalog.
