The game acts like I have zero combo even when I'm at 11 stacks, and getting back up to 12 only gives me one stack in the gladiator bonus. I have to heavy attack and rebuild my combo from scratch if I want to fix it, which is why my stat stick (Cobra and Crane) has every single combo enhancing mod on it to speed up that process and prolong the duration. The real issue, though, is Baruuk's waves not adding to or resetting your combo, as if they did he'd quickly hit max combo in his exalted and never ever lose it, thus making the bug moot. Another thing I've noticed coming up a lot is the importance of his exalted not needing energy. With all the other frames, if you run out of energy, you're out of luck. If the infested smack you a few times and drain you dry, all of a sudden your damage is done and you're being overwhelmed. That means you have to mod for energy regen or run Zenurik to keep up, both of which cut into your overall performance. Not so here. Baruuk needs a little energy to cast his abilities, but he isn't reliant on it the way everyone else is. If you're drained dry, you can still fight, and getting enough energy for a single cast at a time is much easier than refilling your pool and keeping it full. It makes him far more flexible and less likely to be screwed over, on top of allowing him to use Naramon without feeling energy starved.

As a Baruuk main for a long long time. I really don't understand why people don't play him and don't know how strong of a Warframe is. You are literally immortal and you don't even need Adaptation or Rolling Guard. I tried to use a stat stick on him but even without it I deal so much dmg that it doesn't even matter. For me his 1st ability is useless and I have removed it. Also a lot of people don't know a little secret about his Ultimate (but he is using it in the video). If you hit normal mele hits you will hit everyone in front of you in a line, but if you use the Stance attacks you hit EVERYONE that you see on your monitor. So yeah.. I rarely use normal mele attacks on him.
Nobody play him pre-prime because it's so hard to access vox solaris stuff without painstakingly getting Old Mate rank from solaris first, same goes with Hildryn.
Fellow baruuk main. He was the warframe, with assistance of a friend's nidus, that let me hit the 2.14 billion damage cap on with a desert wind heavy attack, all while sitting comfortably on ~800k EHP & ~30k EHP/s regen. He was gated because the majority of players are too low rank to comfortably rank up Fortuna and Vox Solaris reps, but the reward for doing that was the ability to build the wandering god of solo play we call Baruuk. What did you replace your Elude with? I put on Hideous Resistance since it scales with Strength, and a permanent 30+ charges of status immunity helps by preventing Radiation and Magnetic procs (Screw you energy leech eximi~), which come up quite a bit when doing Liches/Sisters.
Baruuk is and has been one of my favorites for a long time. The survivability, damage, and synergy is out of this world. Add helminth Pillage to a Mold Augmented setup and Magus Anomaly to build combo and he's just unstoppable. Funny enough he's also probably one of the most tanky frames by far with 99% damage reduction INNATELY JUST FROM USING THE ABILITIES THAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO BE USING. Unreal Warframe that has that DR plus shield gate plus any armor strip you want, adapting damage you only need 1 mod for, great CC, cool design and mechanics, what more could you ask for?
Another way to avoid stacks is to run Melee Guidance in the aura slot, it's gives desert wind a negative Combo duration so you can take full advantage of the Blood Rush stacks. Also make sure not to run any primary or secondary Dexterity mods on your weapons
@Alan douglas in this case, negative duration on the exalted weapon prevents you accidentally building up the combo, which preserves the combo boost from the stat stick that was used
@@AmirifizIf you were reading what was being said, or listened to the video, you'd know that you can get Blood Rush/Glad set stacking crit bonus on combo by putting it on a stat stick and getting x12 with it... but there's a bug that if you hit enough enemies with the fist portion of serene storm to build a stack of combo it completely wipes out the crit bonuses from the stat stick. Therefore if you use melee guidance aura it'll make Serenes combo duration -1 so you cannot build up a combo with Serene whatsoever and therefore will not screw up your massive crit bonus. Because of all of this, if you run the Dexterity arcanes... either or both, which give you 7.5 seconds of combo duration or 15 seconds with both... this completely negates everything you were trying to do with melee guidance and you will inevitably lose your crit bonus all the time. Was this not obvious though I mean seriously?
There is a third way to keep your combo counter with barruk's weapon. By putting Melee Guidance as his Aura, this will set the combo duration of his exalted weapons into the negatives. Then just have your stat stick with lots of combo duration and generation with blood rush, and its easy. No matter what you do, barruk's weapon will never gain a stack on blood rush and ruin the combo
Baruuk is my favorite frame, it sorta makes me sad that he is only really effective for solo play, he can be really great once you get the ball rolling on him in a group, but he is so reliant on constant enemy presence to comfortably function at his best that any time you have an effective team with you, you are just sorta left dry on one of the multiple things you need to maintain his full effectiveness, which kinda stinks, I also can't really figure out what mods effecthim on a stat stick and what mods don't anymore, they really need to set up universal rules around stat sticks.
I can hear that Sonic Unleashed music in the background and I’m loving it. I grew up with that game, and I find myself coming back to it time and time again. Coming back to the music has been especially wonderful as I learn more about it. Also, I love your videos! You’re very well spoken, you’re very good at getting the main and important points across, and the video quality is 👌🏻 Keep up the good work!!! :)
You can use Melee Guidance to put the combo duration of desert wind to -1, that doesn't allow desert wind to build combo at all. This also means that you cannot use Dexterity arcanes because of their combo duration bonus, but this can be mitigated with naramon.
You can use melee guidance to get over the combo count bug as you can make it so that his 4 has a 0 second combo count which means you can never build-up combo
Baruuk has been my favourite and go-to Frame ever since it’s release. I get so much joy out of doing the slide attack with desert wind and listening to my ancient Monk release his anger
Instead of running a blood rush "stat stick" that super finicky, I'd recommend just running the gladiator set on your melee(not desert wing) and making sure you aren't building combo with your actual melee; also got to make sure that when you are using desert wind to actually hit people with the fist not just the projectiles he fires in order to build combo. Besides that great video man :)
Desolate Hands is a verb. It's making their hands empty. Lull, and Elude are also verbs. So that's why it's called Desolate Hands. He's desolating your hands. Of your weapons. Perfect for leaving them empty to catch his hands during serene storm.
I like mesa because of her big buffs on 2,3 and 3 applying to others is just 👍🏻 also her amazing supporting abilities with all the energy and health orbs she spawns after pressing 4 and left click
for anyone looking for a better work around for serene storm combo fall off issue, if you run Melee Guidance on your aura slot, it brings you desert wind combo count duration to 0. this means you wont ever gain combo in serene storm thus nullifying the problem completely. You WILL want a combo duration mod on your stat stick melee to counteract this aura's effect. hope this helps!
i gotta say, him being teh best exalted user is probably based. excalibur in my eyes is still better, my resons: he has inate slash in his kit and with cromatic blade and furious javelin he gets way better melee damage scaling, he also requires no buildup and energy regen is not hard. Exalted blade also benefits from stat stick teh same way baruuk does. only difference being the reactive element from his augment, to which i say furious javelin. Reminder: i did not say he is bad at all, he is very strong one of the strongest but i still think excalibur better
Depends on the situation. Excal can do more damage, but his damage covers less area. Baruuk's waves are the size of Texas. So against a single target, or a group of targes tightly packed excal is stronger, whereas against more spread out targets baruuk tends to fare better. Energy regen is not hard, but you are basically limited to either energize, dissipate, archon shards, nourish or dispensary. Good options but still a rather limited selection.
The waves are wide yes but cover less range like excal, i also dont even need to use energize or energy regen abilities, hunter adrenaline and styanax helminth fix those issues
@@Marco_-vz2jl Yes hunter adrenaline does work but I feel like most people use shield gating+rolling guard to stay alive bc excal has no innate survivability. Do you use adaptation perhaps to enable taking health damage?
Not at all i use rolling guard but i have found way to take small damage from trash enemies to enable the energy regen, and gloom may also help in these situations. And since shield gating is just the overal better use of tanking then the DR because he can still get one shot at certain situations.
I figured that this video seemed to lack the history and trivia that the other warframe dossier vids have, so here's a few fun facts, advice and/or tips and tricks: -"desolate hands" may be in reference to the phrase "idle hands do the devil's work", as "desolate" could be interpreted as "empty" or "idle" - his 3 used to consume your own daggers to give them to allies, but this was changed - his 4's augment, Reactive Storm, used to only adapt on a direct fist hit, but this was changed - he hasn't gotten a nerf yet and i absolutely fear the day he gets brought down - his design is based on monks of some jewish description? i think? the wiki had something about that noted but i haven't had to see it in a while - his prime access having a pistol seems antithetical to his vibes and he 100% should have come with daikyu prime no i'm not biased - his exalted has combos that change depending on your block status; where normally enemies go sent flying away, if you block, it will pull them in, and one block combo you can do will also either pseudo- or lift enemies outright - his exalted has a lot of knockback, but you can slide or heavy attack to deal insane damage without any knockback, which is very strong as you can imagine. I've had wild success with the slide against those flying sentient cunts with the utility belt of vape canisters - the best way to enjoy Baruuk's kit is to subsume his 1 for an ability that doesn't scale with duration at all, and my personal pick is Hideous Resistance which is just Mesmer Skin but exclusively for status effects like knockdown, then dumpster duration in favor of maxing out strength. you don't even need a lot of range or efficiency, i think i have 70% range on my build and somewhere close to 275% strength and it's doing work - because his Reactive Storm augment adds status chance that scales with ability strength - his prime has no fancy visual changes to his abilities and it's the single biggest letdown in history because they could have done something fucking awesome like doing the "Avatar Mode orbiting rings of elements" thing with his daggers but nah - his exalted wind blasts will hit enemies on a floor above him, but not below him - his exalted weapon type, fists, are tied with claws and sparring weapons to have the single highest finisher multiplier on ground finishers at 30x damage (!!!) with the only higher value being 120x (!!!!!!!!) belonging to Valkyr's exalted melee, but the rest of the finishers only offer a standard yet consistent 8x damage multiplier - some of his abilities sound like he's saying actual words, which not only adds a very real sense of "holy shit the human/orokin that turned into Baruuk has enough willpower and conviction in his pacifist ways to exert his will on the Operator even after the infested virus transofrmed and disifigured his body". It's a little hard to tell what he's saying with his first 3 if anything, but when he pops his 4 it sounds like he's saying "GET AWAY." and it's so damn cool - i don't ship characters but if i did i like the idea that Valkyr was a ball of fury and mellowed out with her prime (canon according to the flavor text) and Baruuk is a chill guy with anger issues so they act like a foil to each other - I laugh when people say Atlas is the real one punch man because you need a lot of investment in a statstick to come close, on top of needing 3 hits with his 1 to compete with even Baruuk's non-crits - imagine not having 50% damage reduction that a nullifier can't take away lol lmao Baruuk is my absolute favorite frame. I fell in love with his kit when i leveled him for the mastery and he's been a staple since, and he does so well that starting around Gauss' release, i had been using a dogshit build on his exalted and never noticed until I finally got my hands on his prime and copied my builds over. I spent 7 or so forma, and at least 3 of them are umbral between him and his exalted, and i don't regret a single one of them. my clan knows me as the "Baruuk guy" and ping me whenever someone has questions about his kit. I have 34% of my total ~1600 hours as him and i've also never bothered using a statstick with him because he genuinely doesn't need one.
15:30 You forgot Option C : Build Desert Wind with negative combo duration, but the statstick with positive combo duration. That way you never build combo with your exalted weapon, and can just revert to your statstick when the combo gets too low for your taste. The only drawback is you can never use Primary/Secondary Dexterity on your loadout. But seriously, does our favourite monk really need it ?
I didn't go for Baruuk only thanks to starting the game, seriously, about a year and a half ago. I've been playing Prime frames as they release, effectively, and putting time into them. I'm fairly sure Baruuk is going to be my main from here on. He's simply the best character for my playstyle, and I'm happy to have him in my arsenal.
You should start making warframe content man. I used to watch your destiny 1 content and it was amazing. I recently moved from destiny 2 to warframe and this game is amazing. I would definitely watch your content for it.
Baruuk has always been one of the strongest frames in the game and its frustrating that it took a prime for people to get on board with him, especially given that his prime stat upgrades are an actual joke. He was already the tankiest frame in the game, he didnt need armor and shields
To be fair, he was a pain to get. I remember my farm for him sucked, had to max fortuna, then level vox solaris so I had to do profit taker a bunch. Its a long grind, so it makes sense his prime has made people play him more
@@BongoToucan yes and no. Is the fortuna grind brutal? Yes and no. Yes it takes a while, but standing is an easy 20 minute a day process of mining, while bonds can be a lil tricky. That said, i didnt have trouble getting base baruuk because i already had grinded it for access to little duck. Basically, fortuna is key to all end game content, whether it be eidolons historically or zariman/lua stuff now. Baruuk/xaku are end game frames both in terms of acquisition and use and should be understood as such.
@@NovaUmbral fuck no. I cant remember exaclty but iirc, his prime polarities arent much in terms of what he needs so i think hed still be more or less nearly as forma hungry as his base frame was. I have no interest in grinding 13 forma again for a frame that performs materially indistinct from his base. (Idk if its shining through yet that im salty about baruuk prime but i am lol)
Great video! One thing I'd like to point out is you can get around the combo count problem you mentioned at the end of the video with the Melee Guidance aura. With negative combo duration on Desert Wind, and something that adds duration on your normal melee combo duration, you never get combo count on DW itself.
Been my favorite since he came out. Got him day 1 and never looked back! Love the love for him and even learned some new ideas on what to do with him from comments and video great stuff!
If you use the aura mod that reduces combo time you can get negative combo duration for desert wind which will prevent stacks from building on direct hits
Baruuk has always been this super cool Warframe I wanted to play when I first started the game. And then I discovered the beauty of Wukong. And Barruk was forgotten.
My main has since His release has (and likely will always) be Lavos, he always has stuck with me and I love his very good Jack-of-all-trades, highly active playstyle. (Hopefully he gets a vid soon(?)) Baruuk is the *one frame* that almost changed that though… He has a great theme to him and his kit is the epitome of “easy to learn hard to master” (and he is a very fun and scary strong frame to play even for people who play him once under a blue moon with a busted, copied build) and those that take the time to master his kit and playstyle are basically Transcendant beings who crossed from Tenno to outright Deity! Baruuk is a frame I don’t play much but when I do, I do so with great joy and once I finish up his prime he will be a staple among my frequents. Baruuk is a Monk of Peace, even if Peace is attained by tamed Violence… Also can I just say… The absolutely PERFECT consistency of production quality in these videos is beyond insane, it’s downright Eldritch how good you are at this!
Been a big fan of this man since release and have been pushing his greatness to my friends ever since, took like a 3 year break and only came back because I heard about baruuk prime, now for the mindmelting farm
I've been a Baruuk main since roughly 3 years back and there is no frame that comes even close to the jack-of-all-trades playstyle that Baruuk can build up (if he's allowed to). While his strength is HEAVILY reliant on enemies existing, a group fight is often making Baruuk a little backliner, but his sheer versatility and ability to just K.O. anything in front of him make him so fun. Thank you for the lovely video. ❤️
Am I the only one with this problem?? I do experience the stack refresh thing but most notably. My 4 can COMPLETELY stop working. I'd be stuck in a half animation and no waves will come out nor can I attack. I'll literally be stuck like that til I die. Anyone else with that problem sometimes?
Null Star, Desert Wind, Adaptation, Desolate Hands is a lot of DR, swap Lull for Null Star and use Elude for restraint depletion, all you have to do is get shot, although interesting probably not great for endurance.
I like Baruuk really well...in ESO and survival (where he's a beast). However, in most other mission types there just isn't enough mob density to have good uptime on his 4...at which point why play this frame? Basically what it comes down to is that I don't have a whole lot of use for a frame where if I accidentally queue with it I'll want to go back to my orbiter and pick something else.
melee guidence aura works to negate combo counter on serene Storm the best element combination is corrosive vs armored (if not running with primer) viral vs armored enemies (grinner or corrupted) toxin for corpus gas for infested praedos with the ammo evolution can make you not have to go out of your serene storm to get combo void damage (aka, xatas wisper) can be use in serene storm same for nourish AND you can one shot a acolyte with a slide attack (most of the time)
Before I quit the game Baruuk was my main. I plan on eventually coming back to play through the New War before I fully retire my Tenno and Baruuk will most likely be the frame I use almost entirely while I'm playing.

Baruuk pre prime was so tucked away that no one really used him. I remember not knowing really anything about him, and figured since no one played him it wasn't worth going out of my way for. Then I saw what desert storm could do and I instantly when to go farm him. Easily in my top 3 Warframes, baruuk is just an absolute monster. I just hate running into violence in SP and losing all my stacks...
Not sure how it works with AMD cards but if you have an Nvidia Card, hit ALT + F3 to open the filters tab, from there you can set the brightness, sharpness, colors, tints etc. it's an overlay, so it won't affect the game in anyway, nor mess with its files.
Baruuk was the first prime I farmed. I being as i started the game months ago i originally mained wukong prime however, Baruuk clicked for me thr moment i used him. It felt so natural using him. Mained him ever since
Mained baruuk since he released, since picking him up I've been unable to switch off of him for more than a couple missions. For me, playing baruuk is playing warframe. He works for everything, everywhere.

Wait wouldn’t negative duration be a bad thing
@Alan douglas in this case, negative duration on the exalted weapon prevents you accidentally building up the combo, which preserves the combo boost from the stat stick that was used
Why no dexterity arcanes?
@@brummyuk2151 I know how to stack Barruk for all that, I just wanted to know why and how Dex Arcanes effect his melee
Never seen anyone play looking over left shoulder. Props to you. I can't do it.
I’ve never been so happy to get working on a prime version of a war frame i knew nothing about as I am now X)
subbed. the openings for this vid and your last one (which got me to come back from a year break) are very well done. Keep up the good work!
Baruuk's entire theme gives off vibes of 'Aight you little shit, get over here!'
You can use Melee Guidance to put the combo duration of desert wind to -1, that doesn't allow desert wind to build combo at all. This also means that you cannot use Dexterity arcanes because of their combo duration bonus, but this can be mitigated with naramon.
just the start, love your vids
Revenants Mesmer skin can be recasted at any moment tho so unless ur a noob, u should never run out of charges
You can use melee guidance to get over the combo count bug as you can make it so that his 4 has a 0 second combo count which means you can never build-up combo
love the fact that you made a vid on gauss, the one i main, and then baruuk, the one i play the second most lol
I mean hey people did vote for Gauss first then Baruuk ;)
Really loving these frame breakdown videos
Baruuk has been my favourite and go-to Frame ever since it’s release. I get so much joy out of doing the slide attack with desert wind and listening to my ancient Monk release his anger
Can you make a video about Sevagoth? I think he’s really well designed.
I found out about your channel today and I am absolutely loving your content, keep up the great work dude
Desolate Hands is a verb. It's making their hands empty. Lull, and Elude are also verbs. So that's why it's called Desolate Hands. He's desolating your hands. Of your weapons. Perfect for leaving them empty to catch his hands during serene storm.
Got Baruuk Prime a few days ago and goddamn, he's so much fun. I don't even have his Serene Storm augment and he still feels overpowered
He's been my favorite since I got him.
Yes but u also lose the dmg from building combo
i gotta say, him being teh best exalted user is probably based. excalibur in my eyes is still better, my resons:
he has inate slash in his kit and with cromatic blade and furious javelin he gets way better melee damage scaling, he also requires no buildup and energy regen is not hard.
I figured that this video seemed to lack the history and trivia that the other warframe dossier vids have, so here's a few fun facts, advice and/or tips and tricks:
-"desolate hands" may be in reference to the phrase "idle hands do the devil's work", as "desolate" could be interpreted as "empty" or "idle"
- his 3 used to consume your own daggers to give them to allies, but this was changed
- his 4's augment, Reactive Storm, used to only adapt on a direct fist hit, but this was changed
- he hasn't gotten a nerf yet and i absolutely fear the day he gets brought down
- his design is based on monks of some jewish description? i think? the wiki had something about that noted but i haven't had to see it in a while
- his prime access having a pistol seems antithetical to his vibes and he 100% should have come with daikyu prime no i'm not biased
- his exalted has combos that change depending on your block status; where normally enemies go sent flying away, if you block, it will pull them in, and one block combo you can do will also either pseudo- or lift enemies outright
- his exalted has a lot of knockback, but you can slide or heavy attack to deal insane damage without any knockback, which is very strong as you can imagine. I've had wild success with the slide against those flying sentient cunts with the utility belt of vape canisters
- the best way to enjoy Baruuk's kit is to subsume his 1 for an ability that doesn't scale with duration at all, and my personal pick is Hideous Resistance which is just Mesmer Skin but exclusively for status effects like knockdown, then dumpster duration in favor of maxing out strength. you don't even need a lot of range or efficiency, i think i have 70% range on my build and somewhere close to 275% strength and it's doing work
- because his Reactive Storm augment adds status chance that scales with ability strength
- his prime has no fancy visual changes to his abilities and it's the single biggest letdown in history because they could have done something fucking awesome like doing the "Avatar Mode orbiting rings of elements" thing with his daggers but nah
- his exalted wind blasts will hit enemies on a floor above him, but not below him
- his exalted weapon type, fists, are tied with claws and sparring weapons to have the single highest finisher multiplier on ground finishers at 30x damage (!!!) with the only higher value being 120x (!!!!!!!!) belonging to Valkyr's exalted melee, but the rest of the finishers only offer a standard yet consistent 8x damage multiplier
- some of his abilities sound like he's saying actual words, which not only adds a very real sense of "holy shit the human/orokin that turned into Baruuk has enough willpower and conviction in his pacifist ways to exert his will on the Operator even after the infested virus transofrmed and disifigured his body". It's a little hard to tell what he's saying with his first 3 if anything, but when he pops his 4 it sounds like he's saying "GET AWAY." and it's so damn cool
- i don't ship characters but if i did i like the idea that Valkyr was a ball of fury and mellowed out with her prime (canon according to the flavor text) and Baruuk is a chill guy with anger issues so they act like a foil to each other
- I laugh when people say Atlas is the real one punch man because you need a lot of investment in a statstick to come close, on top of needing 3 hits with his 1 to compete with even Baruuk's non-crits
- imagine not having 50% damage reduction that a nullifier can't take away lol lmao
Baruuk is my absolute favorite frame.
Man I love hearing Cool Edge as background music for vids
Oh 100% even on release and pre reactive storm hes a complete menace, I still won't feed my regular 6 forma baruuk to helminth haha!
To be fair, he was a pain to get. I remember my farm for him sucked, had to max fortuna, then level vox solaris so I had to do profit taker a bunch. Its a long grind, so it makes sense his prime has made people play him more
@@BongoToucan the brutal medical debt bond grind :(
@@BongoToucan yes and no.
3:25 Sevagoth: i am a joke for you?
I was wondering if anyone else noticed this lol.
Just slap Pillage on his forst ability slot and you have a literally unkillable beast who can hit whatever the game throws at you no matter the level
Been my favorite since he came out. Got him day 1 and never looked back! Love the love for him and even learned some new ideas on what to do with him from comments and video great stuff!
I hope this series of praising warframes keeps up, good stuff (No i'm not biased because it started with my main shut up)
As a destiny player who mains arc hunter, this will be the first thing I grind for since coming back to warframe after 8 years.
If you use the aura mod that reduces combo time you can get negative combo duration for desert wind which will prevent stacks from building on direct hits
as soon as baruuk came out i was invested. i find it crazy that a lot of people dont care much for him, he's my favorite frame rn
You can take down a lot of restraint using his first. His first ability is under rated
Just finished watching this and your Gauss video. Needless to say that after a year of not touching warframe, I am now reinstalling it.
Glad your back tenno!
Baruuk has always been this super cool Warframe I wanted to play when I first started the game.
And then I discovered the beauty of Wukong. And Barruk was forgotten.
You can't spell a monkey without monk
@@dankmemes8254 best comment
Barruk better
Even after his rework I still find wukong unappealing for some reason. Idk🤷
@@RapTapTap69 ill tell you why. Too strong. Too OP. Not even fun to play
My main has since His release has (and likely will always) be Lavos, he always has stuck with me and I love his very good Jack-of-all-trades, highly active playstyle. (Hopefully he gets a vid soon(?))
Baruuk is the *one frame* that almost changed that though… He has a great theme to him and his kit is the epitome of “easy to learn hard to master” (and he is a very fun and scary strong frame to play even for people who play him once under a blue moon with a busted, copied build) and those that take the time to master his kit and playstyle are basically Transcendant beings who crossed from Tenno to outright Deity! Baruuk is a frame I don’t play much but when I do, I do so with great joy and once I finish up his prime he will be a staple among my frequents. Baruuk is a Monk of Peace, even if Peace is attained by tamed Violence…
Also can I just say… The absolutely PERFECT consistency of production quality in these videos is beyond insane, it’s downright Eldritch how good you are at this!
"The daggers don't look like hands"
Desolate hands means empty hands, pretty fitting for a disarming ability
Hearing sonic unleashed music brought back memories i thought long ago suppressed
Wow Valkyr needs a rework
that thunder at the start scared the shit out of me ngl lol
Been a big fan of this man since release and have been pushing his greatness to my friends ever since, took like a 3 year break and only came back because I heard about baruuk prime, now for the mindmelting farm
I just wish my main Excalibur would get some love... They are essentially the same just that baruuk is 10000x stronger... With less effort even...
Not gonna lie that intro was enjoyable so now I want a whole video of it
Am I the only one with this problem??
I do experience the stack refresh thing but most notably. My 4 can COMPLETELY stop working. I'd be stuck in a half animation and no waves will come out nor can I attack. I'll literally be stuck like that til I die. Anyone else with that problem sometimes?
“Once Rev loses his mesmer skin stacks” as if that ever happens.

If I see *ANOTHER* “Harrow Chassis” blueprint. 🗿
"His winds are insane"
My dad Laughing in the back with a horrible stench:
I think the ability name Desolate Hands is referring to the fact that it disarms enemies, leaving their hands desolate.
Null Star, Desert Wind, Adaptation, Desolate Hands is a lot of DR, swap Lull for Null Star and use Elude for restraint depletion, all you have to do is get shot, although interesting probably not great for endurance.
Man, who DOESNT love Sonic OSTs? They’re just so good most of the time.
I thought I had clicked on a Warframe meditation video bro 💀
I like Baruuk really well...in ESO and survival (where he's a beast). However, in most other mission types there just isn't enough mob density to have good uptime on his 4...at which point why play this frame? Basically what it comes down to is that I don't have a whole lot of use for a frame where if I accidentally queue with it I'll want to go back to my orbiter and pick something else.
I have made a baruuk prime build and you are not lying, he is very cracked
melee guidence aura works to negate combo counter on serene Storm
the best element combination is
corrosive vs armored (if not running with primer)
viral vs armored enemies (grinner or corrupted)
toxin for corpus
gas for infested
praedos with the ammo evolution can make you not have to go out of your serene storm to get combo
void damage (aka, xatas wisper) can be use in serene storm same for nourish
AND you can one shot a acolyte with a slide attack (most of the time)
Tried him once in the circuit. Now I'm trying to farm him. Such an awesome frame!
Stat stick for combo is super clunky. Run naramon and dexterity mods and build the crit off the the fists themselves with 20 seconds of combo
Desolate Hands is named after the result of the ability - enemies with empty hands. The name has nothing to do with the daggers themselves.
Off topic, but what colors are used in the fashion here? been loving all the fashions in your videos.
Before I quit the game Baruuk was my main. I plan on eventually coming back to play through the New War before I fully retire my Tenno and Baruuk will most likely be the frame I use almost entirely while I'm playing.
You should hide the melee weapon if you’re using the left shoulder camera because it blocks a bunch and can get real annoying
Love to see all my baruuk mains
I'm gonna be honest, if you find yourself a bullet hose enemy then allude is the best way of depleting restraint

Honestly, started running a sleep build with endless lullaby and I've been having a shit ton of fun with it
I remember when his 4 augment came out, as an Excalibur main, I cried that day
Slightly off topi,pc, but how did you make your game look like that? The high gamma is super nice, and everything has a slight bluish-purple tint
Not sure how it works with AMD cards but if you have an Nvidia Card, hit ALT + F3 to open the filters tab, from there you can set the brightness, sharpness, colors, tints etc. it's an overlay, so it won't affect the game in anyway, nor mess with its files.
@@NovaUmbral ohhh right! I was confused since I couldn’t find any colour configurations in the game settings :) thanks, have a good day!
And here I am thinking Excalibur’s exalted blade with chromatic augment was the best. I’ll definitely need to try Baruuk!
I know the video is a few months old but would you mind shaaring what build you were using for baruuk during the game play?
Blocking while in Serene Storm builds combo. Also try using Lull with at least 73% duration, stealth attack enemies head-on and gain combo that way.
He is the meaning of " Do not mess with me"
to avoid the baruuk combo bug there is option c that is just go negative combo duration and put combo duration on your stat stick
Baruuk was the first prime I farmed. I being as i started the game months ago i originally mained wukong prime however, Baruuk clicked for me thr moment i used him. It felt so natural using him. Mained him ever since
Is he good for interception missions in steel path? Have u got a good build and is his lull viable to put the map to sleep ?
"only character who doesnt use mana for their exalted weapon"
hildryn "hi"
It's very solid video. Thanks for the info. Btw what's the build you're using on video? I searched but can't find anything like this.
Alright, universe! Fine! I'll fucking buy Baruuk Prime..
😂😂
Mained baruuk since he released, since picking him up I've been unable to switch off of him for more than a couple missions. For me, playing baruuk is playing warframe. He works for everything, everywhere.
"the only warframe that 3:39 uses no energy for it's exalted weapon" - what about hildryn ?
Her shields are her energy technicly
This is why I main Baruuk and he is a Jojo but a Jojo who got that DAWG in him
As a Excalibur main for several years since I started I respect baruuk absolute legendframe
Did they fix the combo stack thing yet?
8:56 Technically Baruuk isn’t the only Warframe who’s exalted weapon doesn’t use energy. Hildryn’s Balefire uses shields to cast! Awesome breakdown, he’s still one frame I’ve gotta farm for!
Getting Baruuk Prime tomorrow :)
