2024's Fred Sanford Percussion Caption Award goes once again to SCV, simply amazing even after last year's hiatus!
JONZ brings it home again 🎉
Glad to see SCV back this year! Lots of competition in drum lines, the standard is really high!
Agreed @mechmove. They’re so much cleaner than lines I don’t wanna say. Drums look fantastic with the anodized red on red. I hate the 1980s t bar sh!t harnesses they’re wearing though.
Also such a crazy terrible year last year. So stoked for SCV to be back!!
the carriers are comfy ngl, but the dynasty is so heavy
I remember these days. Man what a time.
Take it all the way!
So crisp and tight and the definition is unreal. Welcome back SCV!🤙
Hot!!!
Good seeing them back Highlighters in all facet of Perfections !
Tha Ambassadors of Execution !
Them Bases Humming like a mug ! Niiiiiiice
Call me Fn crazy I heard some 03 Phantom Beats and I love it.........
JONZ
It's started so good already. This is like French rennick stuff. So many notes too
Wish they'd show the cymbals ever. At least once cmon
So did this video not show the cyms?

Simply great! But lots of left hand grey in the snares. This is one of the least regimented scv lines under Rennik snare wise. Sick book! Easily could win though.
Somewhat a agree but it was enough for them to win drums last night
@@danielplainviews yeah. Bloo was completley sold 2 💀
What's up bruh...you good?
@@dremason6518 My man!!! So much to say…. I’m ok… old man shit. I really thought Boston was gonna take it. But then SCV came in strong late and considering the judges can’t go on the field now… Mrs Rennick is now 75% in charge. I love ya bro!
Pit matters a lot more now.
Great writing… phenomenal execution. no chills though. Not like BAC.
BAC absolutely played their asses off but the judges didn't get chills. I think it comes down to Colin's writing being too vertical/unison this year. Not enough interplay/layering, and perhaps not as strong of a Front Ensemble as Sandi Rennick's at SCV.. Boston will have its Sanford in due time.
@@thecyms i honestly think it had a lot more to do with the vertical writing. on a good year for BAC's front, they play absolutely in the ballpark of demand and this was a somewhat lighter year in terms of notes for the SCV front, so i do think it's the fact that they're taught to manage and execute such contrapuntal writing that makes the difference.
