okay just got to where you mentioned it, however youtubers in other countries makes more money because advertisers are willing to pay more money for ads. nigerian brandsss are too stingyyyyy, and not illing to pay youtube. so basically youtube only pays us what the brand pays them
You don’t make less money because you are a Nigerian or in Nigeria. You make less because people that watch your videos are more from a developing country. You can be in Nigeria and create contents that will be watched by people in developed countries. It boils down to your niche. For example, in my channel, USA 🇺🇸 is number 2. I get large number of viewers from the country as well as those in United Kingdom 🇬🇧. Videos on RUclips have potential to get to different countries irrespective of where the creator is residing.
Pls the initial videos you upload before getting monetized were you paid for it or it starts counting from the content you create when u get monetized ?
Once you get monetized, ensure to turn on monetization for all your videos (old and new) that way you make money from all your video, but RUclips will not pay you for the views you have had on your videos before monetization.
