Any project that runs, even for a few seconds, is a milestone in any build. Nice work sir, very nice.
Hopefully I get there sometime this spring on my ongoing 14 yr project! 😥
Loved "who doesn't want to work on a freshly painted vehicle"!!!
This has been a great build to watch, keeps getting better! Thanks Brent and youse dogs too...ps grille looks great, was fun to watch that come together too.
Class is now in session. .Professor Brent, and his knuckle ruler, at your service.
“Absolutely nothing is hooked up right so lets give it a shot”!!
Phrase of the Project so far 🤣🤣
Brent you are killing me LMAO
Hearing that thing run, even for a few seconds was music to my ears! Great job!
A boring day in your shop trumps our boring day without your vids... Touché mon ami.
She's looking good and those headers sound excellent.
I think your headers sound really good. And their being installed on a 327 just make them even more impressive. Next to the 283, the 327 was GM's greatest motor in my book. Simple, lots of power to get the job done and they simply run forever. The best balanced motor I've ever laid my hands on.
Thanks for the videos Brent. Not boring at all.......ever!
Anyone else surprised at how quiet it was! Can't help but chuckle at Brent's laugh everytime a motor sputters into life...
Under statement of the year...."I think I wanna hear the headers as much as you guys."
It's been great following along. The grill turned out perfectly, as with the rest of your work.
OH WOW! I think that ol truck just might sound like an ol WW2 fighter plane with that exhaust! Too cool man. Can’t wait to hear her roar!😎
What an awesome build. I like the way the grill came out, it sure didn't have much of a starting point, but it ended up great!
Man I love this truck! I’ve been impressed with the entire build thus far! Its amazing how fast you’ve put this thing together!
Nothing like that sound of a project firing up the first time, great job
You kept goin on about that grill shell....."It ended upcoming out real nice was optical illusion at first!!!! I wanna hear that baby run!!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣How you gonna fit PABLO in passengers seat lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
loving your 37 Ford. It looks just right. Pablo standing by for the check ride. you guys the best
It runs, now for all the detail work.
Been a great build.
Your dogs deadpan expressions are absolutely precious.!
Looks like you finally pealed off some of the stickers from your tires. I look forward to every update on this build, but my OCB makes me want to drive there and tear off those stickers! Can't wait to see this truck at Sunday cruise night!
haha I think someone else did that
Copper/nickel brakelines are the best! Fun fact, Volvo used it as standard from att least the 90s up to maby 2010. Never rusts out😄
I bought that same kit off Amazon. Glad hear it’s good stuff!
Can't tell you how much watching these videos takes my mind off this crazy world, at least for a while a couple of times a week! Thanks for them Brent, appreciate them all. All the best everyone
A definite major one step closer to the end for that little bit that sounds very good job Mr Brent I love it
absolutely the best startup i've seen. that's my norm. every single mistake.
Having the General across from 37 hotrod is kind of like comparing the two, country truck being big tuff against the city curser low and fast. She ran, cool!
headers look and sound killer, and the backfires were good comedy relief.
37 sounds great awesome job 👍👍 can't wait to see it rolling down the road.
Always puts a smile on my face when you have a ha ha moment.
Happy to here it run . Really like the way it's looking .
Brent, God loves a good keen man and you shine. Another enjoyable watch as progress is made on the build. Stay safe buddy.
That bleeding the brakes with that bar clamp was pretty slick. I may have to use that trick. 👍
Yes it runs, and this makes me happy to hear it's first engine sound
Nice work, i love the look of the truck, its really coming along.
you sure make all this stuff look easy. we are spending days making sure the rear axle is in correct with the new 4 bar link set up.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who double checks google for the firing order when putting on spark plug wires, and still gets it 180 out!
cheers looks great buddy, keep it up man!
I am always amazed at how much of a virtuoso mechanic/builder you are. There doesn’t seem to be anything that you can’t accomplish. Thank you so much for your sharing. My favorite channel.👍
The old truck is coming along real well and looking good so far.
Brent you have the perfect laugh for Dr Frankstein you should shout out its Alive. Great video glad to hear it run.
This rig just keeps looking better and better
So keep up the good work Brent.
Sounds quieter than what I was expecting. Headers / muffler design works well. Thanks for sharing your build always educational. Look forward to seeing the next upload
Thanks again, I like your slogan " it needs some tweaking , but it runs "
Love it Brent. I'm a mechanic for over 40 yrs and GM is my choice and for some reason I'm 180 out on dist. Every time. Haha. No biggy tho. I think that's gonna sound great.great job great video. See ya on the next one
We've been waiting a long time to hear that little 327 come to life
Despite the first start an many leaks it sounded great. An fairly quite too... Made lots of head way. brakes an fuel line run, an the battery cables too. I'd say that was a great step forward...
Boy I dig that truck she's come a long way, she's a beauty.
Thanks for video. Bang backfire no mustache no eyebrows hee hee
A hood? Na? ...From Sow's ear to a worn silk purse? I like it. You have the gift.
As always Brent u have amazed me on doing ur work on the Rat Truck. Pablo will be glad to ride in it..
that sounds awesome you really impress the hell out of anybody with your work thanks for putting this up for people to watch and learn from
A few more bricks in the wall , and boom she runs ! Love seeing the General on the road !,
It’s alive!! Getting close to that maiden run. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Starting to look like a hot rod good progress in the past month can't wait for the finale
Great to hear the engine run, even got a glimpse of the sticker I sent!! Glad you put it up.
Good job always entertaining watching your progress.
Nothing feels more satisfying than the first time you drive a car you just built. I cried after my first drive. It is an amazing accomplishment! Especially that first one. Get 'er done Brent! We are watching!
Afternoon Brent, looks like your moving right along...be safe!! God Bless!!
Love the way you always do stuff half ass- much like me but you usually remember to finish- I sometimes forget myself-
Mighty fancy engine test run stand you got there👍🏻
A single one of those made some SBC get twenty mpgs. Simple carbs, I called em 450s, idk😁 Hole in side of intake is probably for PCV valve. That pickup looks Sweeet 👍 Thanks for sharing Brent
Economasters right? Strange choice for a tunnel ram i think. Maybe someone just happened to have 2 of 'em.
I kinda wander if a couple of 80s ford variable venturi carbs would do on the tunnel ram😁 they would bolt on💯
@@billmiller7138 I've still got a couple of em. Seems like they were called Economasters 🤔 Spreadbores was my personal speciality 👍
I really enjoyed this episode. Nice to hear the mighty V8 run.
Honestly dude... The way you say "aah i aint got the fittings, and i aint got the motivation" is sooo ZEN or perhaps Taoism.... You just go with the flow man. And for me personally...thats why I enjoy your content.
HUGE ATTABOY Brent 🤗🤗 ‼️‼️ She Runs. God Bless.
I love it...its going to be so cool going down the road..them pipes sound good...once you get her tweaked and tuned...
Sounds like it has some attitude, I like it! Can't wait for the first burnout.
Thanks for the glimpse of the General. It makes my day !
Well the end is near, before you know it, it is upon us. The truck really is looking better and better the more things you get done on it. That's going to be a blast to drive, you may have to add some weight to the back to help get traction. Another job on it's way to being well done my friend.
The tunnel ram is killer!! Reminds me of stuff we build in the '70s. This one ranks right up at the top of the cool scale with the General.
Your videos are always entertaining. This is a great classic street rod.
Admire your determintation and how you laugh about all the problems....love your videos, sir
That first start, shooting flames😄
Its gonna sound Amazing after the carb rebuild..cant wait.!!
You should call this one The Chief! Loving the build, Brent. You've got skills my friend. Always look forwards to watching what you're up to. All the best to you and yours.
Oh nice to hear that 327 run for a bit!
My favorite U-Tube program. You do amazing work!
Wow I thought it would be much louder those baffles are doing a great job .
keep the great work man hope you have a great day
It's coming right along! That grill sure turned out nice, great job on it! Nice video!
If Pablo was a person, he'd be a linebacker. Very stout. 💪
Lots of little stuff but that's what it takes. Good show tonight.
Getting closer to a scoot, Pablo approves.
Looks fine Brent. Just a thought I was trying to imagine quarter fenders .some times your show is like Mr Green’s we get the occasional carb bang 👍🤣
Well done it runs I really appreciate your efforts for uploading this video its really taking shape now can't wait for the next episode Kind regards Stuart..
Nice to here that mouse roar. Really is coming together. Thank You, D
Hey Brent, backfires with Holleys tend to destroy power valves if those have em. I know you will get it sorted!!!
The flake looked awesome! Just a thought. Since the media blaster nozzle you are using is big enough to push the flakes, mix some with clear and see if it will shoot.
The moment I have been waiting for to hear the beast be Awakening great job
Sounds great wires under would be cool I love this build
Brent, enjoyed this one as always. Motor sounds good. Will run good when you get the carb drool fixed. Love the truck. One of a kind. 👊😎👍
Just heard my bell!!!!! Letssss go love your videos!!! Do have a question tho?? Why didn’t you paint the cab when it was off?
it will come off yet, it's acutally not bolted down yet as I'm trying to get all my holes in the firewall where they need to be haha
Well it sounds ok. Its coming along nicely..The old Girl is going to be a Head turner for sure...
Your Great personality shows when your teaching the various way to get things done. Light hearted you make hard work look easy, take a motor transmission out and in like it’s nothing.
Then the show star is Pablo, watching over you like a security Gard.
Things go bad and you just laugh them off.
Thanks My Friend. another great video.
Two Beers, Two Fingers, thanks for this video ;) I need some more... ;))))
I use the copper nickel brake lines all the time. Very easy to bend and have had no problems with them. Be sure to read the reviews on Amazon some are steel coated copper even though they say copper nickel.
Progress is cooking now! 😎👍😎
Just about there my friend.Test drive not fat away! Everything is tight to work on for sure. Thank you for sharing
Your getting there. Sounds good. I've recently put an Olds 350 in my '30 model A pickup and hope to have it fired up soon. I've really enjoyed watching and learning from your builds. Thanks for the inspiration.
The General looked great with all the snow as a backdrop and a beautiful landscape too. Snow can be such a P.I.T.A. but it really does make the place look pretty. Good to get the truck fired-up too; a big, fat carb kit should solve a lot of the problems. 😁👍
The General looks Great!😮😀👍 I miss seeing it every week. ☹️
Yes I think you got heater a little low! Sounds good! Love watching and listening to you!
When you talk to Pablo he has the same expression as the old man on pawn shop. If you could teach him to grumble and say 'Chum lee your an idiot'. He could probably have his own TV show. This truck is looking great.
Cupro nickel pipes have been the norm here in the UK for over 40 year's, welder earth cable is great as battery leads.
