You're right, the grill is done. It looks perfect to me. Any more tweeking will go backwards. Nice easy going pickin' music today. Thanks Brent ! Looks good. 👍😎🍺
Hello Brent, moving along very nicely, I love how the door windows work, first time I have ever seen anything like that, it's so cool. Anxious to see this one finished. Great job my friend, all my best to you. 👍
I am one of those know it all guys, as I say that you have educated me on this Video. Windows, carb linkage, door window frames. Thanks I am smarter now, Great video. Pablo’s fan Club said hi.
THAT GRILL SHELL IS FINE!!!It's come a long way from what it looked like before and probably none could do better...."Don't let them give you ego trip about it!!!!" It's not a show truck and between the curbs n road rash, they will match in no time!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Watching you work around that band saw in fast motion makes my butt pucker.... But anyways, the car is definitely the coolest build on RUclips right now. And Pablo is the coolest RUclips dog.
I have never seen a window crank pull off that kind of motion. I take off my hat to the engineer who designed that movement. I had to rewatch it several times with the biggest grin on my face!
Entro and altro were just perfect, Music for timelapse perfecto... I can sell this to new viewers easy. Brent, when you end a video with a high note indicating your happy with the work performed, that just makes my day. Quality camera work and audio was right on as well so now... a million subscribers and a dinner with your Prime Minister of government showing you did excellent as well for the cherry on the pie and ice cream. Okay, maybe the last parts were out there but wish there was a way to say thank you for your dedication to the hot rod business. Again thank you Mr. Brent an Pablo
OMG... MILESTONE! I actually got the notification within an hour instead of 12 hours later. Can't help but to think it needs "Moonshine Injection". Picture an old Earthenware Jug, the one with the 3 black X's across the label, with a coiled copper tube running out of the top of the jug down to a fitting into the carbs. Maybe a whole still in the bed?😉😆😅🤣🤣🤣
Aha! Looking at a 30's truck I never thought to borrow from 1960's technology: I was thinking pushrods and bell cranks and bent rods with clips - and you elegantly solved the throttle linkage with simple cable and bracket 😁 Very nicely done sir. The window templates look great and, yes, those are neat window actions in the doors. Just a few, minor, things like a steering wheel and seats and you can take her for a rip! As always, thanks for another great video.
I remember driving one of my uncle's "farm trucks" on his farm in the mid-70's (I was pre-teen) and the windows did that, I thought it was cool, you could just crack them open in the rain and the falling rain didn't come into the cab. A great idea, until you hit a puddle, the splash definitely came into the cab, think vertical wall of water, into my lap!
The car manufacturers missed the boat when they eliminated the little wing vent windows. I remember when they sole the little wing shaped , plastic wind breakers that clpped on the push out type windows. They were very handy when it was raining and the would help keep the windshield from fogging up.
Another great video, I've been running all day, my one day off last week. But I finally got to watch it on my way home from my Mom's place. Your "rat rod" is really shaping up nicely. Awesomeness 😁😁
I just have to say that you make the work you do so easy, I remember helping my dad work on all those old vehicles years ago. He worked for my relatives doing restoration projects for many years. Unfortunately he stopped doing that to work full-time at a wire manufacturing company. He always wanted to find a project to work on but never did. Now he has dementia and lives in a assisted living facility for the last few years now, but I still have those memories of He and I working on those old cars and trucks when I was younger. Keep up the good work sir.
As always Brent ,great video ,love how the window rolls out ,over and down ,gas petal hook up great work man ,grill looks much better ,can't wait for the next video take care man
Hey Brent, I dig it. I've never seen door windows like that. I wonder why that design didn't catch on. She has a great look about her. Thanks again. Very cleverly done. Really entertaining. Good day now.
Hey Brett you are a true Craftsman. I've been a collision technician for 40 plus years. I've dabbled with custom work. Could never even come close to what you do. Totally appreciate all the stuff you show us. Keep up the great content you are great
Hi Brent, going great, love the way you talk through your thougth process, shows your real character and your true genius without any bragging well done, take care till next time
Mon Brent I'm liking everything about this little pick up, I thought the convertible 1950s Chevy truck was going to be the one. I still would like you to build that one some day. Being the prices are going to be so high with everything that is going on. I know it will be way back on your list of builds. Or it might just be where I live in California bay area where the prices for GAS SHOT through the roof ⬆️💵💰any how the build is looking Great 👍🏾
The way the side windows work Brent, it’s like the precursor to the “no draft” windows. Dad always had the drivers one open for flicking the ash from his cigs. Really cool the way these work. The grill looks fine.
Brent, you are really loading up on your abilities and content! I like where you are at with this build, wouldn't change a thing! Those windows opening like they do, Ford had a good idea with the mini-wing, maybe a smoker vent? God bless you, be safe, jim
Good progress on the mini truck, a one of a kind,..dang I love that general, such a unique truck. Every angle is a pleasure to look at. So way back when someone thought love to be able to crack my window backwards to get a little breeze and flick my cigarette, cool beans.
Hi Brent, toldly rad look, grill looks awesome ,riding along on your build is amazing to see how you work .love it, like the way you keep Pablo in the loop .fantastic,Jesse in CA.
Buggered-up, I have not heard those words linked together in roughly 50 years. I don't live in Canada but do have relatives on my mothers side who grew up around Forest, Ontario, Canada. I remember a cousin who used to say Buggered-Up quite a bit. Joan Moore was her name, Last time I spoke to her was 1979 or 1980. She was quite the spunky little Red Head. I haven't gotten in touch with her, I'm still trying to find out what her last name is since she has gotten married. My mother is 91 and now suffers from Dementia pretty bad so she is not any help at this time. I love watching you guys and gals who post video on RUclips from Canada and of course those of you who have the Canadian Accent's. Really brings back my childhood memories of visiting my Canadian Family. Thank You, God Bless
makeing the gear teeth nice you are talented i am impressed 37 looks good enjoy watching you build its amazeing work sir ty for what you do will be cool seeing it done and running
The Grill is perfect now it doesn't have that odd look at the bottom. You made the windows look easy. I'm glad you got the gas pedal and clutch done. Keep up the great work its looking fantastic. 💯💪👍👍🙏🙏
You're doing this build justice, with all the metal work and fabricating you've done i hope the painted exterior matches the skill level you've accomplished with the chop and chassis work.truly a beautiful job. Thanks john from arizona
Thanks for sharing , Brent. Really enjoyed your skillset repairing the window cranks and cutting templates for the windows. Also the throttle cable bracket looks like a Henry Ford design. Can’t wait to see it painted and rolling. 👊😎👍
Brent I love the way you use old and new tech to build something as simple as a throttle bracket. I think it is great that you pay attention to small details like this. Kudos Man!!!!
Yeah you have come a long way. It'll look really good with those windows in it. Looking forward to that video to see how you put those windows in Good stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🐕
That window is so cool, my grand father was a tool and die maker for Henry Ford in the early 1900's and my father graduated from Henry Ford Trade school in 1938 as a tool and die maker. I got to see all kinds of great things that Henry's design guys came up with, and the tooling even more clever. They built some wonderful cars in the early days, I'm 75 so i got to ride, drive and work on them.
You Buzzard ... releasing a video that comes out in "Prime Time France" ... sacre blue !!! What the hell am I to do with coffee Monday morning ??? LOL Like I can resist your vids ... love Bro !!!
P.S. ... you are an amazing tech ... where were you when I was building C-130J's ??? I say that because it's the only Aircraft utilizing "Dimpling" tech and can always be improved .... holy shit ... re-cutting window gears by welding tips ... you are such a Warrior !!! I am always amazed by your refusal to accept defeat !!! Bravo !!!
Your doggy looks very content and well fed
Those are the jazziest window regulators 👍🏻🇬🇧
You're right, the grill is done. It looks perfect to me. Any more tweeking will go backwards. Nice easy going pickin' music today. Thanks Brent ! Looks good. 👍😎🍺
Hello Brent, moving along very nicely, I love how the door windows work, first time I have ever seen anything like that, it's so cool. Anxious to see this one finished. Great job my friend, all my best to you. 👍
Interesting. Just Gets Better Each Week 🇬🇧
The way the side windows roll back, then down is absolutely genius. I really enjoyed this video watching it all coming together bit by bit.
I am one of those know it all guys, as I say that you have educated me on this Video.
Windows, carb linkage, door window frames.
Thanks I am smarter now, Great video.
Pablo’s fan Club said hi.

12:13 that spiral nail made me smile!
Watching you work around that band saw in fast motion makes my butt pucker....
But anyways, the car is definitely the coolest build on RUclips right now. And Pablo is the coolest RUclips dog.
Love your videos. Always fascinated when you don't have a part you need and then make it from scratch.
I have never seen a window crank pull off that kind of motion. I take off my hat to the engineer who designed that movement. I had to rewatch it several times with the biggest grin on my face!
She's coming along nicely! I always enjoy watching your problem solving process.
The Grill Is Fabulous , Run with it , Kudos .
So the grille is slightly asymmetrical, just like the rest of us, in the words of a master Rod builder, No biggie!!
Entro and altro were just perfect, Music for timelapse perfecto... I can sell this to new viewers easy. That regulator is a great find for the other window channel! Very busy and interesting video you have today, thanks Brent!
Pablo is like are we going for a ride in it yet he's always by your side he's a great doggy 😉

Man the handcrafting of the old days is great! I love that window
Extra cool? Any cooler that truck would have icicles hanging off it year round! Every episode is always a treat Brent!

Love the progress. I especially like seeing you weld up the teeth on the window crank. Top notch work.
Thank goodness the weather finally improved!
I can finally start digging out the vehicles that are currently snow hills
That window mechanism is mint! Thanks for another great video Brent. 🐾🍺

Fantastic sir. You have a real talent for focusing on what matters and not giving undue attention to what doesn’t. Thanks man. Cheers.

PSS ... the templates are "net zero" ... so how much "set back" for the rubber grommets do you give in the final glass cutting size? 1/8 inch ???
Yeah I don't have any rubber to test fit but I kind of just have the it feels sloppy in the channel approach so it should be good LOL
