I didn't think it was possible but this phone is a cross between the iPhone 6 and the s6.BRAVO!

If anyone is wondering why the screen resolution is 2560x1536 and not 2560x1440, it is not a 16:9 display. It is a 5:3 display. I was surprised this wasn't mentioned in the review.
CVGaming I've actually never heard of 5:3 before this comment. 5:3 does look like it makes more sense for a phone than any of the more popular widescreen formats though.

The Curious Noob Yeah. There is more stuff side to side, and 16:9 videos aren't too far off from it that videos are still enjoyable. Not that they're not enjoyable on something like a 4:3 display, there is just less letterboxing.

Completely agree! This guy is on the right track, but he has a long way to go. His voice bores me sometimes and he needs to be more objective. I do prefer Jaime's reviews a lot more. Honestly. Michael is easily in the top 3 best reviewers.

I laughed my ass off when he said the power button was at the top! He sounded utterly disappointed! Lol
so it has removable back but there is no sd card and you can't remove the battery...
so the only thing you can do after removing the back is putting in a sim card... i think you Meizu missed the point with a removable back

A giant selling point of this phone is headphone audio, which was not reviewed.... If the software isn't so bad It would sell extremely well.

I REALLY don't like the no app tray. But I REALLY like the small multitasking shelf at the bottom.
I have the MX4(None pro) And I had the option of getting the S5 or the G2 and trust me I'm not sorry about my choice,For my country the phone has 4G and its smooth as hell.
It has a killer gesture to swipe up to unlock the phone while screen is off which really helps when you have the power button up top ..I really like the Camera and boy all the girls in my class love takin' those photos.
I did switch up the Launcher to the Google Now Launcher and its even more smooth than before,All in all good review!

You forgot to mention that this device is THE device to get for music fans out there, featuring a top of the line Hi-Fi DAC and sound chip along a sound suite that cost well over a thousand Euro should you purchase them seperately. Plug in a good set of speakers/headphones and prepare to be treated like no portable device ever before.

I've seen other review by Pocketnow presented by other reviewer. I think Pocketnow doesnt have standard for review. I mean every reviewer have their own style and presentation. M. Fisher is the best.
Instead of having a power button on the top which is useless since you can use home button instead they could put ir blaster or micro sd slot.
Is it just me or was he playing back a video recording @5:25 of someone playing crossy road... either that... or the delay on the phone is horrendous and the phone plays for him at times, that sorcery! :O
good job, but you miss a most important thing of this phone, this phone come with HIFI dac and amp chip inside, try is with some loseless music and good headphones

I am no fan of any manufacturer, and i have a galaxy note 4 and an iphone 6 , and if always someone asks me wich one you like more , easy answer Iphone .. i never need to restart my phone or to force remove the battery because of freezing .. i know apple is alot restricted, but atleast it gives me reliability for whenever i need to snap a photo or open an app , its always ready ... i love my note 4 , but I just hate how it sometimes lags or freezes , alot of you will say root or get another rom No i don't want to ... i don't want to loose my warranty . i still have photos from 2011 taken with my iphone 4 and i always get corrupted photos on my note 4 and no i don't have an sd card, both phones are great but i always lean to my iPhone , peace !
I have to agree that Samsung devices are awfully optimised...Samsung just can't do it right. They should invest more resources in that area. Another example was their PC app for the phone...it was awful. Don't know if they made any progress now but I stopped buying their phones after SGS3 (it was a fantastic phone ,cutting edge tech and it worked perfectly...until they updated it. But anyway,the S6 is the first one that has a chance selling as much as the S3 did).
I couldn't stand the iOS UI and the battery life is awful. Plus I hate that I can't tell if an app crashed because it never notifies you in iOS,it does that in the background. But perhaps that is better, because it just restarts the service and that's that.
The most reliable phone I ever had was the Nexus 5 and the LG G3. The G3 has an epic battery life (European version). I charge it every 3 days ,with screen time up to 4 hours. If it's off the charger for 24 hours I can get almost 6 hours of screen time. But the lollipop update made the battery drain a lot quicker. I get 48hours off charged with max 4 hours of screen time now. The next update is going to improve it ,so they say.
Long story short ,yeah,compared to Note 4 or S5,the iPhone 6 is more reliable. Too bad that the camera is nothing special on it. It's not bad at all,don't get me wrong.
Oh and another thing,I think the iPhone 5S is the best looking iPhone to date. iPhone 6 isn't pretty compared to it. It still looks good though. But for me,for some reason,the best looking mobile phone in the last 3 years is the Nexus 4. I mean that's one gorgeous looking phone...the sparkling effect on the back is really good looking. The design is fantastic overall like a solid piece of glass. Curved edges. The notification light is the nicest I have ever seen (diffuse light effect,it smoothly turns on and gradually turns off periodically for notifications). Too bad that the camera was so lacklustre.

The back kinda reminds me of the first gen i phone! Bigger though.
2:16 "A rearrange-able grid of icons, folders, and widgets". That's the complete opposite of iOS.

I think the price is a bit steep....I know its cheaper than most flag-ships, but I really think the Idol 3 is a much better phone (based on reviews I've seen online) and its cheaper.
Nice hybrid between ios and android a few things to need to be fixed and I'd consider buying it

***** I've already intensively compared both of these devices. In performance, they're about all the same with average antutu scores of 31K. For better screen and camera, I'd say get the M2 Note. For more features, get the P8000.
Honestly I would choose the M2 Note cause I like the design more.
But it's too late for that cause I got the Lenovo K3 Note instead! K3 Note is much more better than both the P8000 and M2 Note. Scores an antutu score of 46K with exact identical specs as both other phones, just a hell lot better CPU. I'd honestly get the K3 Note if I were you, it's actually just like $10 cheaper than the M2 Note.

A little too far minimalist for my liking. I prefer an app drawer and a fledged out nav bar. Plus, the design is very generic.

Marcus Xe sorry i had a Xiaomi mi4 and there was nothing wrong with it and it works great. There were regular updates and the software was very smooth. I would love to get a Mi note
