correction about the fasting you said they don't completely stop eating so the rule is if people can, they should fast all day till prayer(kidase) ends but if the person is wick and can't do that, he can just avoid meat and dairy and eat vegetable. but the whole month even after fasting all day meat and dairy not allowed.

Actually not all but most people fast the real fast. they don't eat or drink anything from midnight to 3PM. when they break fasting they can only eat Vigan food. no dairy product or no meat.
I'm sure you're probably aware. A helpful tip when eating Ethiopian food- the proper formal way to eat is to take a BIG piece of injera to completely cover the food, then grab it. You're not supposed to get your fingers wet lol

For Easter fast, we do fasting of no food and water for 55 days for minimum of 6 hours per day, Maximum goes from midnight to 2pm.
