This week on Shakeout Live! we talked about the upcoming When We Were Young Festival. The lineup for both years are absolutely INSANE, however there has been some interesting discussion around the festival. Reporetedly today, Matt Skiba even said that his band Alkaline Trio didn't even ever officially confirm for the festival. We chat about our predictions and thoughts. Will it be the next Fyre Fest? I hope not because I want to go see Green Day and Blink 182 next year. Looks like a great time.

So sad I couldn't make it last year. I recently became a huge Avril fan a couple years back and would have loved to see her play there with my other favorite bands (The Used, All American Rejects, Simple Plan). Would love to go to the 2023 one if I can, though!

It's held by a company that does this all the time at the same grounds. Same thing for them just different genre. It'll be fine and I'm excited to be there day 1
I’m sure it will be! I definitely wanna go next year. Just so weird to hear stories like Matt Skiba saying Alkaline Trio wasn’t confirmed even though they were on the flyer haha. But regardless, looks like it.ms gonna be great. Have a blast!
Ya, from what I heard it was confirmed via managers but some bands might not have got the memo yet. But thanks will do!
AND it has been cancelled.. for wind. but even EDC with 150k people a day doesn't cancel because of wind. They stop the music and wait it out.
