I adored Istanraq and Charlie Swan I was at all his Champion Hurdles at Cheltenham a machine R,I.P
40 minutes between some races at galway...shocker
Istabraq wouldn't have beaten Constitution Hill. A GOAT in hurdling fame but not the best
Impossible to say that with any certainty. '98 Champion Hdl performance right up there with anything seen at C'ham.
I'm with you all the way Christopher but I'm struggling to get through to others. A prime Constitution Hill beats a prime Istabraq every day of the week and three times on a Sunday.
You have to get the horse there so far constitution hill has beating nothing
Istanraq wins all day
See you then was some.horse as well
@@bernardmckey9396 Istabraq has won more Champion Hurdles than Constitution Hill, that is a FACT and is not up for debate. All I said was that a I think a prime Consitution Hill would beat a prime Istabraq so it doesn't matter about getting a horse there or how many times Istabraq won the Champion Hurdle. I appreciate that it's subject and that not everybody will agree but I'm sticking with a prime CH over a prime Istabraq and although you say CH has "beaten nothing" I'd say that CH has beaten better horses than Istabraq. Again it's subjective but surely CH beat a better field than Istabraq when winning its Supreme - Jonbon beaten 22 lengths in second - and it also beat State Man 9 lengths in the Champion.
