That's one of the reassons that led to his depression.
Fernando Cruz Albornoz Beatles are good musicians but they are very boring for me. Nirvana has simple songs but they still sound fucking awesome! That's why I love them so much, and they were so different and unique
This was shot on 16mm film which is about 2K (basically 1080p HD) quality. Couple that with audio being done on proper multitrack recordings and it really is one helluva production. You should see what it looks like on Bluray...even better!

I personally think the cameramen make it more realistic, but I used to hate that you could see it in the video and I still understand why someone wouldn’t like that
90's shows _always_ show the other cameramen. I'm not mad it's cool in it's own way. It's like multiple exposures in the 70's. You get used to it and even love it for it's special charm.
This video was shot with an 8 mm video camera. It was way before HD. One of my favorite recorded concerts ever. The sound and video is unbelievably clear for 1992.

I think Rush is great, but for my money, Nirvana is the best trio, at least in my lifetime. I remember reading a post of "supposedly musical connoisseurs" arguing that Kurt was a great songwriter rather a great guitarist. After that, I've watched a Kurt's/Nirvana's documentary about how Kurt was told as a young, aspiring dude to find his own sound by someone teaching him to play the guitar... After all of that, I came to the conclusion that what makes a great/influential musician is finding his/her sound rather than being epic copying others and BOY! Kurt was/is a standout figure in Rock n' Roll history.

His T-shirt has the logo of the "Power Team" (god made you to win) of which John Jacobs is the leader. They are christian body builders, running around smashing ice blocks with their heads and "ripping up phone books for god" and other ridiculous stuff. Krist catches some flak from the audience after "plugging" (obviously mocking) them. While The "Power Team"'s deeper agenda remains a mystery to me, it's nice to see Nirvana's liberal values shine through like that, after all Nevermind was initially called "Sheep"....

Arguably the biggest rising musician as of right now and he's a phenomenal artist. Take a look at Royal Blood. Many people considered rock to be dead but then comes along this hard rock band that makes it to #1 on the UK charts with their debut album and is now playing the main stages at festivals. I personally think things will start to turn around within the next 5 years or so. Even if it's not as great as grunge or the alternative boom of the 90s it'll at least be better than what's now
