- Good afternoon to all my favourite bushcraft girls and guys and all you awesome forest folk. Welcome back to the channel. Today we are going to take a look at a new pair of bushcraft gloves from the company crud. Crud is a Swedish company that makes very authentic rustic looking good and wares. In this video I will show you one of many models of leather outdoors gloves these guys produce. Today I'm showing my new mölgs. These gloves are designed to exhibit a certain patina that would have you believe the gloves has seen many years use of bushcraft. They are extremely comfortable even before wearing in and they are manufactured using high grain leather using a 5 step process to give the gloves it's bespoke look. Gloves look interesting and useful. As you say VERY expensive, you'll have to give them time and a lot of use to see if they are worth their salt. Anyway the point is if you like them then that's good enough! Take care, Eddie.

@@edwinmason123 a pair of unbranded quality leather gloves will do the same job Edwin. We pay for the brand, so as long as the quality is there one gloves to another doesn't matter.

Those are some good looking gloves! They definitely look durable. Looking forward to seeing you put those to use. 👍 I haven't ever used the Helikon gloves, but at first glance I'd go with the Crud.
😂 Hey there buddy. Thanks for dropping in. Yeah they do look like they will do the job. I was in love with the helikon-tex gloves when I got them, now they look like driving gloves when compared to the mölgs 😂 still like them though. They have done me well for a good long time. Take it easy pal.

😂 really! Up in Manchester crud meant the exact opposite! Madness 😜 😂😂 our fave turn of phrase was "What a load of crud!" 😂 They do make some nice gear. I was hoping for a clothing line too, but alas they don't do clothing. Cheers pal.

Hey there thanks for stopping by. I would say the sizing guide is very accurate. I'm a medium hand size and I picked up the medium size gloves. The fit is snug, but not tight. And should relax nicely with use. Hope this helps. Take care.

Your video is the first I have found of this particular model of Crud, there are others with a more popular model however I been looking for the Molg since it makes more sense to me that this kind of glove should be more comfortable (stitching outside) than good looking like the other popular model.

At the risk of geeking out over a pair of gloves... They do look good. I think that wax coating/bag may be to prevent them from drying out and cracking in warehouse storage. I'm sure that with use and the natural oils from your skin, they'll become more supple and flexible. They'll probably mould themselves to the shape of your hand and fit like a... Enough! I've been far too serious and sensible. I'm away for a lie down. Braw gloves right enough, though.
🤣😂 we can geek out together my good man 😂 you are probably right regarding the coating bud. The helikon-tex had a similar coating on them and now they are supple as butter. Time will tell.
