A few years ago I came upon a pair of deer skin gloves from our local Mass Bay Co. Not much advertising, just a simple black tag with a stag logo and the company name. Very soft leather at first, once you find the right size and break them in they mold right to your hands and yours alone. At that moment I understood what “fit like a glove” meant. Never experienced such snugness in my life, I’ve always been used to the countless amount of gloves that leave too much room in the finger tips or feel awful on the hands. I usually have different pairs of hide gloves for different jobs (cow skin is more rugged compared to deer for me), this pair seems like something I’m gonna pick up especially for the price, thanks for making another great video! I hope your new year is going well.
Just saw your email! Thanks for linking our video on your page, would love a link to see it! Still loving the gloves. I’ll get back to you soon via email or phone.
Good review. These are very good gloves. I've used them while cutting down trees with a chainsaw, cutting steel rebar and flat bar, repairing wood fences and stick welding while repairing damaged wrought iron fencing. Nice tough glove.
I primarily use this cowhide glove and their goatskin version of this glove. I have the pigskin version of this glove, but I only really use it during really hot summer days or really wet days. The goatskin gloves are king though. They last like three times longer than the cowhide version and have really good flexibility.
Nice to see great review and great recommendation. I am buying gloves and leather conditioner to give it a try. So far your last recommendation for the Stanley coffee mug/press has proven to be pretty awesome! When I went camping last summer with my family, we really enjoyed great coffee every morning thanks to your vid. I have used wells Lamont gloves as well and you are correct they do were out pretty quick under heavy usage. God Bless!
@@ReviewOutdoorGear I ended up getting a pair to try out... Used them during my workout, doing Loader tire flips and sledgehammer smashes... I think they will last and feel really good. I think I'm going to get another pair...
I measured my hand as they say on amazon and I measure 3.5 inches across so I doubled that and I get 7. Their measuring chart says 6.5-7.5 is a small...do you find these run true to their measuring chart?

You gotta love that feeling. A good pair of gloves is a wonderful thing, that’s why I had to share these! Enjoy!
Mine are arriving today. I also have the Obenauf's arriving today. You gave a very good review of both products. Thank you.
Hi I emailed you a few weeks back. I have linked this video to our website and want to thank you for this! Glad you are liking the gloves.

Which goatskin model have you purchased?
I had a pair of these for work when I worked on a farm for the summer putting up barb wire fence and they were the best.
They really are fantastic gloves!
After long I found a true review ordering soon

Glad to hear the information was useful!
Obenaufs is the best! I put it on my work boots every couple weeks
It's so good! The best I’ve ever used.
This is just the glove review I’ve been looking for! Thanks for the great video!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Excellent, just ordered a pair. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed!
Nice gloves, nice fire, nice video. $20, gotta buy a pair.
Thank you! You’re gonna love these gloves.
I am the glove annihilator... thanks for this... And I like putting on my Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP sitting in front of a fire... so it really melts in.
Yeah that’s a great technique!

Which boots are you wearing in this video? I need a new pair and looking.
These are the Timberland Earthkeepers Rugged boots! I love them.

Any issues with these staining your hands yellow?
Yes if you get them wet and wear them for an hour or two it’ll stain your hands. For me it washes off with soap and water.
What knife you using in this video?
It’s the Benchmade Bushcrafter.
Awesome video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
What brand are they?
Golden Stag
