You don’t need to get every skill, but if you’re going for trophy then yeah, otherwise you only need shadowrush and Ashina cross. (At least for me I can with those)

Went there in late game and the pot guy was dead. Item wasn’t in the offering box either. Guess I have to start another NG+ and spend even more time farming since there are no good areas in early game.

Did you check the other pot guy? By Fountainhead Palace. If I remember correctly when one of the pot dudes die then their inventory is available at the other one. If you did the quest where you feed the Great Carp bait then the pot guy will turn into a carp and will be in the water but you can still buy stuff off him.

I went there late and the pot guy was dead but luckily I got the text book from that fish guy who turned into fish after I fed the great crap I thought he would be gone but then I saw him in the water after seeing ur comment
