Snakeeye Shirahagi can be also lured in the swamp: Run to the bonfire, and she follows you. Grapple upward from the bonfire, to the top level. Show yourself, retreat, wait for her shot, repeat (else she will slowly go back to dry land). Wait until the poison gets her. Slow method, but zero risk.

43:00 This guy aggroes the moment you enter the room, if you then run back towards the idol he will lose the agro as you get close to the stairs, and starts walking back to his original position, this leaves him open for a backstab, just buff up before the backstab so you can do the rest of it. Great video by the way, I may have used parts of some of these on the most annoying ones.

This is pretty much a no block/parry run when you think about it, it's a cheese strat for people who simply copy what is shown here. But the person who initially figures out each strat has to put in as much effort into it as someone who's playing the game in the intended way. I'm not interested in playing the game like this but I have to respect the creativity and there's still some very useful info about some of the game's mechanics in here. Great video!

There is also the umbrell and the living force cheese for snake eyes as well and actually kills the boss faster especially when you let her hit the umbrella with a couple bullets to charge it up
Thanks for the video, I had a lot of trouble on the Lone Shadow Longswordsman. After watching this I found that I didn't need to lure him into a corner at all. It seems that by aiming to the side of him without locking on achieves almost the exact same result as in what you showed no matter where he is. I was really amazed that doing this made him this easy to defeat. I wonder if other bosses have similar issues if you aren't aiming directly for them in your attacks....
no problem. I'm glad it helped. Yeah similar tactic works on lone shadow vilehand in the castle. we used to be able to do it on genichiro behind the door too, but it got patched, so it's a lot harder to do now.
you can also lure snake eyes in the posion swamp for a free kill, and I found that applying divine confetti for the underwater headless and just spamming them will kill them super fast too lol (so that tactic is viable for all of them)
Fun video! Never seen those starts for Masanaga (v1) and Ashina underwater headless before. Couple of other potential cheese strats: Boss 7: Juzou. After stealth death blow, you can go and grapple at the point to the left of Nogami (left while facing in the direction of Juzou). You're completely safe here -- poison doesn't reach you as far as I remember. Then, wait for him to start drinking, jump down and attack, then grapple back. This takes a while but it's almost completely safe. This may also work for Juzou (v2) but I think that grapple point no longer works in Hirata 2. Not sure. Boss 13: Seven Spears. You can use the same trick as Boss 1/2/3 where you can lure him up the stairs and stand below while attacking him. He can still hit you with some of his moves (like his thrust which drags through the ground) but most of his moves are harmless from there. Boss 18: Shirahagi. As others mentioned, you can let the poison completely kill Shirahagi while you stand safe high up (just need to make sure you're behind a rock or something to avoid her shot). Only need to jump back down for deathblows. Boss 22: O'Rin. You can lead her across the bridge by standing at the far end on the stairs and dodging her next attack. Once she is past the stairs, she does not attack anymore (with some exceptions). Then you can get around her and keep attack her from behind -- she just slowly tries walking back to the bridge but does nothing else. If you keep moving and attacking her so that you are always between her and the bridge, you can keep pushing her further and further away from the bridge so she never has a chance to reset. Sometimes, she will suddenly start attacking back -- this usually happens when she deflects one of your attacks. Try to make sure that you keep walking behind her after every attack or two so she never deflects and only keeps taking damage. I have seen once or twice that she starts attacking again anyway for no apparent reason. Just reset and try again. Boss 33: Lone Shadow Masanaga (v2). You can aggro him and lure him down the stairs. At a certain point, he completely stops attacking -- I think this is after the second flight of stairs begins on the way down. Then you can just hit him forever. You can either keep going around him and attack his back to deal damage, or just keep attacking him in general. He can block and deflect but he never attacks back and his posture keeps building up. I don't think his dogs ever come down the stairs but if they do, you can shuriken them. He doesn't use his whistle anymore. Boss 36: Ashina Elite - Ujinari Mizuo. Just adding to your strat. You can get one death blow on him to speed up the process by running away from him and back to the main castle (away from Isshin's room). He turns around eventually so you can finish half the fight with just the stealth deathblow, then continue with your strats.

Thanks. and yeah that's normal.. first run is a big learning curve until it finally clicks. once you fully understand the game, its easier but a lot more satisfying to play.
For the snake eyes in the poison lake, you can lure it into the poison and after a while it will eventually die. If you want to do it this way (I wouldn’t, it takes an excruciatingly long time) just lure it into the poison and climb your way back up to the top area where the first idol is. It should stay in the poison the whole time. Again this is not a very time efficient way to do it (it probably took around 10 mins), I’m just putting it out there.
progress the game. It happens during an invasion and will be there for the rest of the game then. when you notice you cant use an idol to warp inside ashina castle, that's when it will be. before owl fight i think.

If you are facing terror while fighting boss there is purple gourd at starting of mibu village you can buy it from merchant it reduces terror and help to get less damage you can get 5 everytime you rest

I’ve bought this game for a year already and the Mist Noble has been a wall in every playthrough of mine, I started a new save file and all of them still got stuck on Mist Noble!!! His attacks are so BS man, I barely won one time because I used Ashina Golden grass thing, upgraded my attack power to 50 and get a lot of prayer beads! thanks 🙏

One thing that I find was that, there is no cheese in this game, even doing these methods requires a lot of skills, but the beauty of this game is to face bosses head-on and win against them by pure skill, anyway, thanks for the video.

For ogre a good one is to first get a stealth blow, then go to that broken wall behind the two soldiers and climb it, now ledge hang on the back side to lure the ogre and when he is between the gap start attacking. He wont be able to get you so keep hiting and if he go out of it just ledge hang again till he comes back and repeat
yes. you got unlucky. do it again. this vids only 2 months old. all methods were tested muliple times.. and the games not been updated in over 2 years, so its not patched.
Alternatively for the Snake Eyes Shirafugi fight ( same applies for the other one), I managed to kill her with (including stealth deathblow) attack twice with the sword, use umbrella to block and counter attack, especially the ones that lead into a grab attack. I managed to finish the fight in less than a minute!

There’s a much easier way to cheese shigekichi. Stealth death low him from above after killing all the enemies,loaded spear twice,and make him set his sword on fire and make him hit the explosives just at the stairway.They will blow up and then it’s light work for you.
Yo that sounds like fun. I used puppet jutsu on the flamethrower guy and was burning him. If I got him near the explosives that would have been cool. But tbh I had no idea about the explosives. 👌

dor the snake eye in the poison swamp just go up to a place she cant reach, she will walk in the poison and after a time get poisoned, just wait till no health left for death blow in 1 hit

for 37 you can also use any of the spear's drag move twice to remove his armor and increase his stagger damage while still safe in the area

For the snake eyes in the poison lake, you can lure it into the poison and after a while it will eventually die. If you want to do it this way (I wouldn’t, it takes an excruciatingly long time) just lure it into the poison and climb your way back up to the top area where the first idol is. It should stay in the poison the whole time. Again this is not a very time efficient way to do it (it probably took around 10 mins), I’m just putting it out there.

i miss out on something i was about to challenge the headless in under water ashina but there is no bamboo to step on what did i miss doing.
progress the game. It happens during an invasion and will be there for the rest of the game then. when you notice you cant use an idol to warp inside ashina castle, that's when it will be. before owl fight i think.

If you are facing terror while fighting boss there is purple gourd at starting of mibu village you can buy it from merchant it reduces terror and help to get less damage you can get 5 everytime you rest

I’ve bought this game for a year already and the Mist Noble has been a wall in every playthrough of mine, I started a new save file and all of them still got stuck on Mist Noble!!! His attacks are so BS man, I barely won one time because I used Ashina Golden grass thing, upgraded my attack power to 50 and get a lot of prayer beads! thanks 🙏

for Ujinari Mizuo, the easiest way is backstab him for the first phase, then attack twice, flame vent then repeat until he dies..

For ogre a good one is to first get a stealth blow, then go to that broken wall behind the two soldiers and climb it, now ledge hang on the back side to lure the ogre and when he is between the gap start attacking.
He wont be able to get you so keep hiting and if he go out of it just ledge hang again till he comes back and repeat

yes. you got unlucky. do it again. this vids only 2 months old. all methods were tested muliple times.. and the games not been updated in over 2 years, so its not patched.
Alternatively for the Snake Eyes Shirafugi fight ( same applies for the other one), I managed to kill her with (including stealth deathblow) attack twice with the sword, use umbrella to block and counter attack, especially the ones that lead into a grab attack. I managed to finish the fight in less than a minute!
Yeah that's a good shout 👌 There's also a popular one where you stand on a rock and deflect with the umbrella while she gets poisoned.

There’s a much easier way to cheese shigekichi. Stealth death low him from above after killing all the enemies,loaded spear twice,and make him set his sword on fire and make him hit the explosives just at the stairway.They will blow up and then it’s light work for you.
Yo that sounds like fun. I used puppet jutsu on the flamethrower guy and was burning him. If I got him near the explosives that would have been cool. But tbh I had no idea about the explosives. 👌
