In this vlogging showdown, we're testing out the new DJI Action 4 vs the GoPro Hero 11 to see which camera is the winner!
The DJI Action 4 is a newer camera that's a major improvement over the older model. It has several new features, like improved low light and a new software update that allows you to better control your footage.
The GoPro Hero 11 is the reigning king of the camera world and is it still one of the best options out there? It has amazing stabilization and quality footage but will the Action 4 take the crown?

Personally I felt the Osmo action had better picture quality (which is a shame as I have an older Gopro and was rooting for it). The foam wind reducer though, I felt altered the quality which was a shame as the Osmo otherwise looks fantastic. Also the face looked better with the Osmo👍
Thanks yes I agree! The good thing is they are both great cameras! For me the OSMO wins by a small margin!

Picked up the Action 4 this week using this to film golf videos as it’s so light and easy to carry around the course

Im a huge Dji fan and won't change but i did notice some of the GoPro footage a lot more colourful. But i like 99% of DJI products so wont be swapping.Great video as usual👍
Hey yes the good thing is in that flat mode you can edit that around a lot! I might put up a video showing what you can do! 👍
This is what I noticed too. But I’ve heard so many errors that make the go pro unreliable so I’m sticking with DJI
I went to the DJI Action 3 after the GoPro 10 and 11 failed me in the field. Over heated or froze. DJI has not failed me yet. I’m wait for my DJI Action 4 to arrive.
Yeah I haven’t had any issues so far with the action 4

3:22 here i see better dynamic range (or color profile) in dji, but bad you didn't change in action 4 sharpness to -1, but in hero 11 is cleary low sharpness. 3:59 wow ! 6:35 in every review i see this problem with compresion in dji. flat in hero 11 is so colorfull that I sometime feel is better than natural, only make good curve :P
Yeah there are def some shots when I think the GoPro actually looks better!
Thanks for this video! We are looking for a holiday action cam and are particularly interested in diving and underwater footage. Still not sure which one is better. The automatic colour grading from the Dji seems promising, without the need to do a lot of post-shot editing.

Yeah could be the perfect camera! Super easy to use and. Great results almost every time
GoPro always more processed looking - too warm and vivid, and usually more blown out. I love GoPros and have owned several and still have my 8... but... just like at the ruclips.net/video/842ubaOS0k4/видео.htmlsi=qr9eFOhiQ8z9WalE&t=239 mark. Look at the face and how blown out the GP is while the Action looks great.

Just received my Action 4 and I’m delighted. It’s a great match with my Hero 11 now where I felt that the 3 really lagged. Looking at your footage shows just how close they both are as well. Thank you.
Yeah I agree they are both very close now, it’s almost hard to choose as they are both slightly in some better than each other, for me the Action 4 is just about winning out
Same for me. I’m loving the Action 4.
Both are great cameras, but I'll choose Action 4 because of the adventure combo's 2 extra batteries and charging case.

Gopro 12 is the same of Gopro 11 they just add HDR
So osmo action 4 is still better

How does hero 10 compare? Its now. £100 cheaper than the Hero 11.
The Action 4 is good. But too expensive.
Both cameras look good tbh, although the Dji doesnt expose the face as good as the go pro.👍

I think people are saying the hero 11 looks a little bit better than the 12.
One thing I have noticed about the action 4 is the field of view and everything looks a little bit too small compared to the GoPro which I think looks a lot more natural and more pleasing to watch on the Smartphone.
I will have to look on the larger monitor to see which one is actually the winner.

GoPro is dead. DJI is a healthy competition in action cameras market that killed GoPro. RIP, GoPro !

@@editorskeys Don't get fooled. GP failed to deliver for the last few models. It used to be a good idea when they came out with first GPs. Not any more. With each new model, they offer very little to remain relevant. DJI is new kid on the block. That is where you get your money worth.
Hi amazing video. so you use the gopro wind slayer on the action 4 right? Did it affect the colour sensor as you mentioned? It didn't seem too. One last question which is driving me crazy and i can't find an answer😂 while vlogging outside around cities with the action 4 i need to obviously keep flipping the camera but i noticed while the camera is pointed away from me and im talking the sound quality suffers. Any solutions you can suggest please please lol.
Hi, no it doesn't affect the colour sensor. i'd recommend purchasing an external microphone to pick up better audios

Kinda unfair to compare a cam that just came out when the GoPro came out a year ago, plus the next one comes out in like a month, which is supposed to be really good
Then they will compare it to the 12. But at the moment, these are the two flagship action cams from the two biggest action cam companies so the comparison is warranted and appreciated. Especially for those in need of an action camera today.
