I strongly feel that they have Beyonce singing majority of the parts by herself. Although Kelly has a similar tone to Bey, Michelle doesn't and I don't feel like I hear Michelle at all

It's what I strongly disliked about DC. Beyonce can't sing lead and do background at same time. And often I only here beyonce voice on songs and can't tell if the others are even on the song.

@@nesq4104 what i never under stood is why Kelly and Michelle couldn't sing live with the backing tracks? Like a lit of times the lipped everything while Bey was the only live voice. And studio wise her voice was always layered over top of any of the other girls. That was done so people were used to her voice so when she went solo they wouldnt have to adjust to hearing her "by herself"

@@zleo7054 exactly, it explains why the other 2 left with zero confidence in themselves when the group ended. I like to hear voices even if not perfect.and many "live" performances it was very clear only beyonce sang live while the rest lip sang to beyonce background tracks. This why by their final album the harmonies never evolved. Although it's water under the bridge at this point I'm sure beyonce had no shame when it came to this. Kelly's belts can make beyonces voice dissapear as she has done a few times live. Michelle's can keep in those high pitches. Just wished I heard real harmonies
