Hi Leichhardt falls is a definite must if your going that way .. we came in from Normanton and the road was easy not much dirt from memory. How bloody good is that drone , would you believe 5 months later and it’s still going strong 😂😂
Lovely Ep and spots Guys. I think I met you two at Pennefather river around two years ago, You were having troubles with your Lithiums set up in the 79 and you left after a while to go pick up your new van.
Thanks so much … yes that definitely would of been us … we are such dumb asses lol all we needed to do was push a reset button with the ignition turned off 😂😂😂😂 Pennefather is still one of our favourite spots 👍
Ok bugger on the lithium set up, Yes I love penne I been going 26 years this year, Be heading up for 4 to 8 weeks in April. Then mite do the gulf and up to Mcgowns in WA. I got on to the Goldies or Fingermark last year out a bit wider at penne was awesome fishing @@Livingonatrip
Wow 26 years !!!! I highly recommend the Gulf Trip , we have some great spots for fishing coming up in the the next episodes 👌 McGowan is high on our list to visit as well . Good luck with your fishing at Penne this year 👍
Thank you, Yes love the Gulf been thought a couple times over the years, in 1988, 1996, did The WA coast as well in 1988 fished Near McGowans back then unreel fishing we had. Love watching your channel. @@Livingonatrip
I've lived there a tip. When the sand is hot as hell and boggy it is holding the most oxygen in it and makes it harder to travel over in a car. If you wait till the morning the oxygen is released from the sand and moisture begins to enter it. Making it more dense and easier to travel over in a car. Majority of Tourists do not understand this process over remote inland sand away from the coastline. Bloody absolute beautiful setup by the way to Tour around in. I hope you went for a dip in the rock pools above the falls its a beautiful place to cool off.
