We the Gen zs of Kenya do not fight Ruto because he has raised taxes we fight because it is 2 years down the line since he became our president and so far he has not done anything that is observable,he is doing the opposite of his manifesto, he is a master of double speak ,he says this today and he says the opposite tomorrow, in the months that he has been in the office he has travelled thrice the times that the Late Mwai Kibaki did in his 10 years in power but we still do not see the positive impact of his tours to the growth of economy in Kenya, the funds he uses to travel would be used to do something else like posting the medical interns, increasing school feeding programmes, setting up irrigation schemes since he said that his government would aim higher at increasing food and agricultural production in Kenya,of which we do not see last year he brought us fake fertilizer, how do we expect food productivity with fake fertilizer, we youths have no jobs and he still scares away the foreign investors by hiking taxes maybe one or two individuals would work in those organisations to make end meets, our firms are not working and have gone dormant and he is not speaking of them....if decide to talk i wont finish, when you see us on the streets its nothing else its rage that has been caused by our greedy leaders who are incompentent and work for their own interest, we have no jobs and we are free to go to the protests anytime we want,we must be hard so that we can be heard, #rutomustgo #tupatanethursday
#Rutomustgo symbolizes the disdain the current younger generation has wit that kind of governance. The fact that he is not the first president to raise taxes has nothing to with it. It is the fact that every government that has been in place since Kenya's independence has done so with no fear of being held accountable. The only difference is that the current government is the most impudent yet incompetent one to date and the current generation demands the most accountability. Where our parents/guardians/leaders failed us, we shall not fail our children
I understand your concern for our nation and it is sad what is happening but Kenya has chosen to sacrifice a season in the history of our country over endless years of backward motion so that we may be able to enjoy our fruits and become a first world country in Africa. If not for us, then for our children. we won't settle for peaceful bondage. ❤💚🖤🤍
Kenyan problem is not tax collection it's about how our taxes are used, politicians become confused when u don't associate yourself with tribe, party or to certain leader they are unable control such a group, no one is funding this group it's just hopelessness that has brought youth together

Also there has being state abductions , killings that haven't being accounted for , an MP earning 1M but has cars and watches that are woth more than 200M . Even you as Eunice , will you just sit down and be governed by a government that doesn't care of how you will get your pads , which hospital you will get to give birth (if even there will be nurses and doctors to take care of you and your child) , how you will earn as an individual and also when you have a family, and how can you be safe if people are kidnapped and some killed for speaking the truth . If these things anger you , then you will get to understand why the pressure has to continue increasing .
Fan number one. Don't be tricked by those who say the Gen z agenda is now taking a political turn, their agenda is about Kenyan governance and politics but not political. The point given that kibaki and uhuru did the same as ruto did so making ruto resigning is political driven is absurd. The gen z and majority of the populace are tired of this kind of governance style, they want changes. It is said that it is only a fool who does the same thing over and over again and expect different results. Kenyans are saying they're not fools anymore. Change is inevitable, ruto will be the end of that era of impunity and bad governance period.
Young lady, begging you, keep out of Kenyans politics and mind your own . Just pray for Kenya instead of giving us your views, they are not helping but infuriating. You can take sides because you do not know the experiences of Kenyans in the last two years. Do they tax bread and sanitary in Nigeria?
Gen z, we are not jocking we are forcing Ruto to sack himself out, we are not going to allow this colonialism mind to lead the country a gain, we have to deal with this old mind out, Tunubu in kishwahili is Sean, so Nigerians you have a big job to remove Sean in between you, Africa viva Africa hoyeeee

Young lady the GenZ movement is genuine .I am not a GenZ but just a parent to a couple of GenZ.i actually voted for president Ruto but, now I can not trust this guy for any one single day .we just want him out even a stone will make a better president .....no2 as for the guy wanting to storm statehouse on Thursday he is not a gen Z but a comedian who demonstrates alone possibly with some health issues possibly out to seek fame etc .But GenZs are not as cheap as you may think .no body is their leader .
Labeling Eric Omondi as not being a GenZ and as having "health issues" is quite disrespectful for a person who has demonstrated extraordinary bravery and done so much in activism and sensitization when others were quiet, comfortable and complicit in the Ruto travesty. Eric has been at the forefront of the struggle for justice, protesting while the bulk of those protesting now were very comfortable and under the seductive spell of Ruto's mendacious, make-believe hustler inventions. Most of those protesting now are new converts to the anti-Ruto wave, because as recently as last year (2023), most of them probably thought Eric and his ilk were spoilers and were castigating him for unnecessarily disturbing the peace and their businesses, or those of their parents. Now they see what he was all about all along. It's because Ruto has now messed this once-sworn supportive constituency of young adults with his punitive taxes and erratic ruling style, that they now see Ruto much the same way as Eric has been seeing him all this time.
