I'm very elated today for Patrick Lumumba, for echoing those succinct and salient words about intergenerational knowledge and change, I think we have a crisis of change in Africa, that is why we need prophets of change in Africa , that will rekindle us and once more put us back on the path of change.
Asante sana Mwalimu. Elimu unayotupatia katika hotuba zako ni MUHIMU sana kwetu sisi WAAFRIKA. WAAFRIKA HATUPO HURU. BADO TUNATAWALIWA KIFIKRA. TUJITAMBUE ILI TUJIKOMBOE.
Thank you Prof. Lumumba, for your untiring effort to bring consciousness and awareness to the people of Africa young old. Your speech penetrates deeply into the minds of those of us who are willing to listen. Thank you so much for your resilient help to make us wake up . Africa wake up!!!
PLO Lumumba is so right. This is why some of us hammer home the other messages: 1. every year for the next 30 years invest 60% of the education budget in STEM. 2. focus on promoting investment by indigenous Africans, like Dangote in Nigeria, not "...foreign investment..." 3.We have a generational problem. To win power GEN-Z should form alliance with the African matriarchs and with the African women. The men have failed. They were/are all about titles and positions. Titles and positions do not make anything happen. It is the mind behind titles and positions that matter.
Well written, my thoughts 💭 are very much a-lined with your GenZ and women will change the continent. Powerful women with rise up be tired of boiling “stones” for their children to eat while we have gold and great soil in our backyard…..
WHAT A GREAT CHALLENGE!! I THINK THAT MOST OF IT IS THAT WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO READ AND WHAT SOURCES TO READ AND WHERE TO FIND THESE INFORMATION. Mr. P.L.O LUMUMBER you have taught most of us than the whole total school days!!! Most of the things you share I had never heard of in my school days. So our schools need to step up in the substance of their information to us students.
How can Africa have a conversation. We have a problem with conversation because we have no language. This is the consequence of the abolishment of our language. All those countries mentioned are those who use his birth language. The PHD holder in Africa knows nothing because the majority don't know the history of his country. We dont think about ourselves only copying others. When a new leader take position he will change things that March his only ideas, not what existed for years. It is very difficult for us to reach our progress. A nation that never asks questions can not develop . We are all failures. Speak your language to progress. Is only your language that makes you think seriously. Africa is only mouthty. No actions. We are going nowhere without our birth language.
@jobondyxpeteronyango Doing my best by putting my aim down. We have to remember that without our birth language, we shall remain inferior to others. Where is our history? We are a dreamer a house without a foundation will never stay. Will collapse in the end, so we shall.
Africa we are defeated in the mind or we are fearing to think.Old leadership must leave the leadership to the young generation.Old gentlemen go and rest because youll never unite Africa.
This is of the most holistic history lesson given to us; bearing in mind that, sometimes, i don't agree with him! People don't read, even when they do, they hardly put it in practice, the rest is history, repeating itself.. like bad governance by people entitled and know it all! By the way, it's not only Africa, except that some are 'smarter' and don't need lectures to take what's yours, be richer and be disrespeful, a lot of time. So blame yourself! Right there, I totally agrree with Prof PLO Lumumba. Bw well!
Africa for real need genZs to eject 'colonial' masters in the skin of African leaders, Teodoro Nguema, Bola Tinubu, Museveni, Ruto, Suluhu, Nana,....we need no puppets who serve the west but patriotic leaders to work for Africans, we've Minerals all, why are we not rich and have the best in lives!? Everyday our youths go outside to abroad for making the ends meet, reason being corruption can't make our mother country leaders upgrade our nations
Owning nothing is an illusion. Stand still, look around and see. History written in pen on paper doesn't define the now, but defining what was and what will be is written in your DNA. Make today the history that your mothers, fathers and children be proud of today. Individual gathered knowledge, and resources must be gathered and combined and utilized under the voice and action of all as one for the good of all. Never let wisdom become an illusion for greatness. Be as a child, thirsty, striving for, gathering, combining and utilizing knowledge. Never stop learning for good of all.
Do they know ancient African History? Socrates learned along with other Greeks in Africa(kemet). Do they need to know European History first? Do they need to know Asian History first?
You are speaking to people who have proven themselves to be weak.. The hurtful part of all this is Africa gave to the world knowledge and civilization. The first ever university and institution built to teach the European by Africans was the Hagia Sophia in 537 AD. All teaching staff were Africans...let that sink in a bit.
How do you know how other people receive his message.?...... he's playing his part and can't be everyone's answer to their problems, just do your part & let his ideas be.
I read Martin Lither. He was quite a remarquable man in reforming all things Church in Germany; as a reformist, he also influenced the entire world. He made lots of enemies... of course! Nonetheless, people are not as du**b as one may think, situation start changing, new shapea occur. So be proactive and fear not to plan for the best for the future. Good luck!
Shocking! No offence but what is happening? Seems like none of them are reading anything yet one would expect that a majority would have at list read one of the mentioned books. 🙏
Never minds words ,words, words stop talking and GET BEHIND IBRAHIM TRAORE get your armies behind him ..support him wirk with him .our older speakers like lumumba, like to keep talking about "i remember when..long long ago" The time for diplomatic talks has ended, foreigners and others are taking crafty council against our continent and, ibrahim is the ONLY ONE trying to protect Africa against re colonisation while the old world speakers just keep talking about "i remember jomo kenyatta and i remember laurent kabila ect and Nkrumah and yes Patrice Lumumba they were all great!but they can do nothing now...All our African leaders MUST PULL TOGETHER!
Is this continent really Africa? And who named it that Who was he or she? To whom did he explain as to how he come to the conclusion of saying this is Africa. Is to the indigenous people's or what
I like P Lumba but he does get the story wrong in the case of Angola he keeps praising Agostinho Neto the source the arctect of the capture of the Angolan state and he never mentions Holden Robert the true hero and the father of the liberation struggle in Angola, he does the same in DRC Keeps praising Patrice Lumumba and he never mentions the father of Nation Joseph Kasavubu the first President of Congo Lumumba was number two to him there's DRCongo today because of Kasavubu. And Congo's imean Republic of Congo and DR Congo are not the same country as KONGO.Kongolaise people Bakongo they speak Kikongo language they live in Angola Republic of Congo and DRCongo their Capiltal city is Mbanza Kongo it's a unesco heritage site located in northern Angola and they have an ancestor burried in a cathedral in the Vatican 4hundred years ego
@ossiechristi370 Is my question because we were enslved in the name of God those who enslaved us is prases in the name of God. My belief is that religion was created to fool us and to change our names and to abandon our birth language and culture, religion. Forsure without your birth language you nothing for ever and remain confused. Don't you think Africa is very confused and owned? what is not ours.Wake up.

YOUNG AFRICA UNITED MUST LEAD 💗🌍
Scary. We must have our own media. African media. African satelites and other scientific platform.
..indeed. “How many paragraphs have we written beyond the examination..?” Truth..!
African Leaders are thieves without shame.
Africa we are defeated in the mind or we are fearing to think.Old leadership must leave the leadership to the young generation.Old gentlemen go and rest because youll never unite Africa.
Finally, he described the problem.
Hare Krishna !!
How does one compete with no opportunities 😂😂😂😂😂

Truthful man deserves to be our president to salvage us from this awkward governance

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Do they know ancient African History? Socrates learned along with other Greeks in Africa(kemet). Do they need to know European History first? Do they need to know Asian History first?
Tell us . Greed is what is killing us
tell them we need young leaders
No corrupt old men
African greatest problem is leadership across board. Using a computer for the first time at 25years😢
Abondon the Fools paradise ,the old need to guide the youths and the youths need to listen to the old.
At age 24, hannibal Barca, which the Rock of Gibraltar is named after, was a General! By the way, he was also Black!
