I am from Serbia, and when I listen to this man, I can feel the emotion and the will for Africans to be strong and sovereign, not exploited by outsiders. It resonates extremely strong for us Serbs, and I wish for Africa unity and strength so that it would find itself on the map rightfully as a new power for the betterment of the life of it's people, and all people around the world.

As a pan-Africanist and daughter of the soil, I find this an enlightening and excellent talk👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I cry for Africa everyday. Hopefully, one fine day, but less likely within this century. No one listens to African leaders to play a big part in the geo-political world globally because of poor governance, corruption, division, tribalism, nepotism and hatred amongst Africans themselves. The looting of state funds by corrupt leaders, leaving poor Africans with no infrastructures is very, very sad. United we stand, divided we fall, but unfortunately, African Union is a total myth.

@@ot4625 We've been hearing about colonialism from when we were kids till now. Most of the so-called problems started by colonialism are still there looking for pioneers that would shift the tide and push African nations in a new direction. Instead we get either this, woke messagers that don't offer any meaningful solutions just merely talking about the problem or sock puppets that just play to the gallery and feed Africans their revolutionary garbage but end up being worse that colonialists themselves.
Truth is, Africa's solutions don't come with an applause. They involves getting our hands dirty and grinding from the pit, filth and bottom of the global society. We would have to accept unpopular solutions like learn from even our colonizers...Yes... Like why were colonial administrations so effective, how did they keep different factions in check...Yes, we should also not pick sides between East and West, but use that dichotomy to our own advantage.
I find it hard to listen to lectures like these, especially from this man, because the reality staring at us in the face is that most of this information does nothing to better the lives of Africans. Technological progression is more important than any of this to be honest. The West is still leading the charge to end malaria and when they develop the vaccines we would still find a way to complain. Let me have my moment of weakness.....TEARS 😭😭 !!! OK...now picking up my energy from off the ground 😡....now re balancing my emotions🙂..... where there is life there is hope and Africa is FULL OF LIFE. What we do with our lives is the challenge. But here's the real deal...what goes around comes around. As above, so below. Everything is energy. The energy of African youth is palpable; it is strong. There is a global understanding that these are not ordinary times; something unprecedented is happening and Africa is on the cusp of restoration. There is a knowing among African youth, a realization that change is inevitable. I pity the African leader who will not lend ear, hearts and mind to the youth of his country...his employers. I am a 53 year old born in Canada, raised in Jamaica by a Pan African father who gifted me my Ashanti name. 53 years is a long time to wait for just the right to exist in peace;but a thousand years in the life of a man is but a day in the life of The Source of Life ( that tiny atomic particle that went BANG to create this paradigm of existence). So take heart my people. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH....OUR TIME IS COMING....STAY HOPEFUL; STAY WORKING TO BRING THIS CHANGE...DO YOUR PART HOWEVER SMALL. We were created from a small thought and look at us now...BIGGER THAN LIFE!!

I was blessed to know and work with many wonderful Africans and I feel the pain and injustice done from the old colonial powers and the new-old ones, who now have decided to colonize the entire world behind the covid mask with their Great Reset of WEF and all their supranational organizations like WHO, IMF, WB etc. More than ever now we need every nation on Mother Earth to rise up for sovereignty and put an end to century old world domination of one or two powers - mainly the Anglosaxon empire and the Chinese resource harvesting. On the other hand, don't be fooled, what this guy is talking is globalism the type of EU which seizes national sovereignty and transfers it to unelected bureaucrats who are beholden to transnational corporations and have evil ideologies for one world government and absolute dictate with one policy, one legal system, one currency. This is what is destroying the European nations today. Similar thing in Africa will reagionalize Africa as one legal and economic entity among few other such global unions and it's a dream come true for the power hungry elites of the world. A union is good so long as it preserves and insists on being a union of sovereign nations and not of powerless people under one corporate and bureaucratic political dictate. I'm hoping that I can get out of here too it's never going to be right here for us never we built it yeah and if people want to stay here and fight for it they can but I don't feel the need to defend myself here I'd rather go somewhere else where I don't have to constantly be harassed I'm not but I see others are being harassed and quite frankly it gets old watching video after video of us killing each other are they killing us I'm tired. I don't want to go to Africa and go through the same thing or see the same thing. So that's why I take my time

If you’re really in South Africa, how are you coping with the loadshedding? And can you understand a bit of Zulu or Sotho? Do you enjoy kota or braaing?

I am from Sudan.🇸🇩 I loved your wonderful way of thinking. This is what we would like to have in our mother continent, the sweet and beautiful Africa, with its green land, its precious minerals and all its wealth.

More people like him? No please, there are enough people like him in Africa, preachers, they've been talking about African unity since 1965, no strategies, no long term plans, nothing, just words, blah blah blah, try to put Algeria and Democratic Republic of Congo in the same box, same army and same foreign affairs organization and mandatory democratic government's? Talk is cheap.

Africa should not wait to take action long after PLO is gone. The time is now. Let start by calling ourselves PanAfricanist other than will the Geographical names allocated to different African states.

Great man on the continent of Africa, Professor Lumumba. His speech might be look so unique for some current Ethiopian leaders. They need to be kicked out from their office if they are not sufficient to lead African in the right direction. Uniting Africa is must and that is the only direction!
