We will embrace the corrupt leaders who perpetuate our problems and fight anyone who fights such leaders... We are lost from within.." .. Its a disease that we collectively need to heal from..

My beautiful, precious and resplendent sister Adeola, thank you for a brilliant presentation. It is a shame that our African family continue to perpetrate the divisions sown into our midst by the selfish colonisers. I feel that other African countries that kept quiet in the face of such barbarity on the lawmakers could also be complicit given half a chance. They don't see anything wrong in lawless people beating up a lawmaker representing himself in an ECOWAS gathering by speaking the truth into power. Kai! Aye ma kooto o. Very shameful on all present and generally on other African countries too. 😢

There's AU parliament in SA. I can't imagine Julius inviting someone and that person is beaten up.
I assume there should be diplomatic immunity, why is that not working here.
I'm very concerned about lack of freedom of speech and repression on the continent.

Adeola, don’t mind the illiterates that are not enlightened to reason with you. It’s not their fault, it’s the fault of the current Ecowas chairman who also is neither here nor there for his own people when they desperately need him.
You’re doing a good job my girl.

Areola, may God continue to bless you and your family for your sentient [Pan-Africanism], because the points and concerns you highlighted in this discuss speaks volume. In fact, everything you spoke about here, is not only a lesson for the entire African continent but also timely and reflective of what presently going on in my country of birth [Sierra Leone]. Well Gathered, You Are Well Informed, Comparatively And Comprehensively.
Now, From My Recollection, As Soon As The Senator Had Proposed That They All Stood Up To Sing The National Anthem Of ]🇹🇬[, _SomeOne_ In The Crowd Had Yelled:
    _"Is This Guy Even Togolese?"_
Right Before All Hell Broke Lose...
