I have an elite core and it feels sluggish with the response time. I’m a competitive player so I don’t use it for first person shooters like halo, defiant, call of duty etc
The gambit is supposed to be the fastest controller. I just bought one the other day from best buy online for $65. I've had both the elite controllers and they both were amazing until they started to break after a few months. The bumpers would break and I would get stick drift, my grips also peeled off both controllers and had to warranty them. The price for the elite controllers are ridiculous for the QC they have. I'm hoping the gambit will not suffer from the same problems because Im really liking the controller
Yeah I have the elite series 2, and while it’s great for racing games (the xbox one style triggers allow for much better brake and throttle control imo) the input definitely feels slightly sluggish for shooters. Ordered the gambit today for that reason
I'm mainly a racing games player and I wanted to know, how much resistance do you get with the gambit's triggers compared to the standard xbox triggers? I own a PowerA Fusion Pro2(which I'm looking to replace) and it has very loose triggers that you can press very very easily, which I personally really dislike. Great video btw👍
Hey !! Thanks for the comment. As far as resistance goes compared to a standard Xbox controller I’d say they are fairly similar . So pretty loose with not much resistance . So probably not what you would find suits you best . This is an area I’ve never though of including in my reviews , I’ll try to incorporate it into future videos . Thanks for bringing it to my attention . Thanks for the kind works and thanks for watching .
@@Gavlaaar88 you're mate. Actually I find the resistance of the triggers on the standard Xbox controller fine, but in my Fusion Pro 2 they're much looser. The standard controller has to kill all sorts of birds, racing, fps, fighting, so the trigger is quite good imo
Gambit is better. Stick drift on the elite controllers left all of mine as paper weights within a year. Gambit has been the best fps controller for the past 2 years
That's funny because my elite 2 lasted me 2 years and I'm not easy on my controllers. You can adjust deadzones to get the stick drift out of it. I kept doing that until my damn faceplate broke. Now I'm looking for a replacement.
@@Grim_Reaper26 I have a profile picture of all 6 of my elite controllers that needed to be replaced but the warranty’s were up lol. It really is a crap shoot. I still have 1 but the gambit is still my favorite right now
Xbox elite isn't compatible with battlefield 2042, and will bug out, the trigger switches will not work on that game neither will the dead zones, you will need to use aftermarket controllers to have the edge, ridiculous I know
@@ToshiCOE no , if looking for a PS Victrix controller , check out the BFG , don’t think it has Hall effect sticks though. Although I haven’t looked into it too much.

Cheers ! Not had much traffic on this video but had fun making it.

You can get the elite series 2 for 120 by getting the elite 2 core red which is only 95 then but they paddles 20 separate
Where exactly are you finding a $100 elite series 2😭
Bro I had to double check the price
You can get the core (same controller but no accessories in the box) for $100
Between the razer and victrix what would you choose?

@Grim_Reaper26 that doesn't make it good... if you have to turn up dead zones you sacrifice precision and reaction time

Really ! That sucks ?? Wonder what the reason for that is ?
Unless on sale, the Series 2 is $180 and the Gambit is $100 in the US. Not sure where you got those prices.
The Gambit feels so cheap its laughable but I like it more than I thought I would. Needs to be half the price.
Haha it’s the back paddles that feel flimsy to me . But yeah you’re right , it actually plays really well
Is the gambit a universal controller?
It works with PC and XBOX. It’s a wired controller, so can’t connect to phones
@@Gavlaaar88 not PS tho?
