- OK this video has been requested by alot of RUclips peeps. We bolth did our coming out videos and now we are doing the big How We Met Video. Our main focuse on RUclips was to help bring awarness to gay families and the obsticals we face in a country that doesnt want to include us in their concept of Family Values. We were a very private family living in northern CA. That was untill CA passed prop 8. We have started making these videos to show that there are gay families living in CA that value marriage and family. We hope these will destroy some of the negative stereotypes about gay families

I love watching your videos. With all the problems our community is suffering with, you two and many other youtubers give all of us some hope. I get so upset and feel so depressed every time something happens and one of us falls under the weight of prejudice, it's comforting to know that we can hold our heads high knowing that families like yours exist.
I can't even begin to express comforting this video(along with the first half) is for me as a young gay man who hopes to have a family someday..it really gives me hope.
I know you guys answer questions, but if you take requests, I'd love to hear more about you guys. Either as acquaintances, friends, dating, and eventual lovers. Among the many different ways you've inspired me (as fathers, as political activists, as just plain awesome dudes, etc.), your loving relationship is an amazing thing that has inspired me. It's not just heart-warming, but it also has made me re-evaluate my own goals and life expectations. Truly rocked them on a visceral level.
Thank you for your series of videos. I just found your channel this evening and have been watching one after another! Your love and honesty shine through each of your videos. I hope more young people take heart from your story and your family. Keep up the good work!

My mom was adopted and my uncle was also adopted. They have grown up into amazing people. I love thie insight about that you guys gave on your vid. because I thinking adopting children is awesome and I plan on having one and adopting one. You guys are a great couple :-) Really a good example for the community.

One of the great things about gay marriage is that the parents only have children when they really want to have them. Then the kids most of the time are sure of being loved. I think that you're a very cute couple

I wonder why you sign as the Leffew family, rather than as the Foxtrot-Leffew family (Foxtrot being whatever Jay's family name is). What's your kids' current family name? Simply Leffew? If so - how did you arrive at the decision to leave off Jay's family name?

Ive always wanted to have kids too. If and when i do have children, id like to see if i can have one through artificial insemination. The other i would adopt, but i would like to have one as my biological child. Not sure why, ive just always wanted kids. Im pretty sure doing the artificial one is very time consuming and probably alot of paper work, but it would be worth it.

I think you guys are crazy.I don't care kids at all.I love living a child free lifestyle and I'm not willing to give it up for my future boyfriend.I won't date other guys with kids at all.I rather date other guys with pets than with kids any day.
