In my opinion, Cassandra revealing her plan to Lex wasn’t a bad idea because it was almost like the devil was taunting her and saying soon Gracie will be hers. Plus, I think the devil wanted to give her a false sense of hope by telling her to be saved, the headshot must be deleted. Most likely to persuade Lex into deleting it and give her hope. Only to have that hope ripped right out when Gracie is revealed to still be doomed. Which is the biggest punch in the face anyone could get.
Agreed. Think about Lex for a second: she unintentionally doomed her best friend forever, instead of just giving a note saying, "PLEASE DELETE THE HEADSHOT".
@Jurassic Hero How could Gracie have already been evil when she was not even acting evil long before Cassandra came for her? Surely anyone who is evil from the start would have been acting horrible years earlier before then. A pure evil person would not feel regret or remorse of how they treated people, like her friends that she backstabbed and betrayed for fame, money, and popularity. But suppose she tried going to church with a mask on, trying to confess her sins, who would believe her that it was a woman named Cassandra that did this to her?
@Jurassic Hero I suppose, and perhaps it depends on their actions from even long before they had gotten to where they are now. Surely anyone with a real brain would have walked out and listened to their conscience, but Gracie had none that. And for Cassandra, to say that Gracie is who she always has been inside, one might say that they thought the Devil was supposed to be the Father of Lies. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it.
I just realized now that this episode was similar in plot to the episode The Red Dress. Both Protagonists weren't forced into their misdeeds and the supposed villains of their episodes gave the girls opportunities to do the right thing. It really makes the punishments deserving considering both protagonists were given chances to change and they threw it away for their own selfish greed
I do agree that Headshot is a pretty underated episode. I do like the moral on how too much fame and jealousy can make you ugly and hateful especially on the inside. It's too bad that our main lead fail to understand that and became consumed. Also, aside from Lilly D, Cassandra is a really good female villain.
That was also the point in that story "The Picture of Dorian Gray" which is a scary cautionary tale about the dangers of pride and vanity consuming you.
Interestingly, I saw a while back that there some plans in the works for a movie about a female version of Dorian Gray. We'll see if that ends up happening, and how it compares to Headshot. I've also seen some people suggesting that Cassandra seems like she actually wants Gracie to choose the right path, like maybe she's simply doing her job , offering deals to tempt humans to sin, but she'd really love to see the humans surprise her.
Like the Witch in Brave. She gives those who wish to change the fate a spellbreaker. "Fate be changed look inside, mend the bond torn by pride" They just need to mend the bond that they tore out of pride and selfishness.
Not gonna lie, the ending of the episode did scare me, when I first watched it. They portrayed Satan so well. She's a trickster, and she doesn't take the blame on people's sins they committed. It is only themselves, and we were meant to defend ourselves from temptation and battle our sins for the good our lives. But yeah, what they left out is that a trickster never reveals his secrets. But the episode did scare me, in the end, though. It made me imagine what my sinful self looks like. And I need Jesus and Mary.
This is just the same actor who voiced Sofia the First playing a different character. Sofia grew, matured, and learned to resist temptation in not giving into her own fear and doubts, conquering the darkness. This other character however let pride and vanity consume her to the point where she was already lost because she was too weak to see that it was a trap set up by the Devil who feeds temptation to the weak. Sofia is stronger than Gracie. Since Cassandra is the Devil himself, it goes to remind you that Pride is the one deadly sin and ultimate fall of Lucifer and now he ones to lead the weak down that same path as he did to those already shallow, conceited, egotistical, prideful tramps on the walls who were pushed further into that trap.
I agree that this is an underated episode and that it is one of the best in the series However, I don't think Lexi deleting the headshot caused Gracie to become ugly. I think that it would've happened even if Lexi didn't delete the picture. Because since Gracie chose not to delete it, her becoming ugly could've been seen as Cassandra finalizing her obtainment of Gracie's soul. In other words, the devil has put Gracie in her own little hell by making her ugly while her pretty face is hanging in the devil's office, where Gracie can look at the life she lost because of her own choices.
I don't understand how she could not see or understand what she was becoming. Anyone with real braincells would have seen what they were doing to themselves.
@@Disneyfan82 But would anyone actually take those ‘changes’ seriously? She would have had to believe that Cassandra was actually a she-demon operating a company from the shadows for the sole purpose of trapping souls and indirectly physically disfiguring their bodies. These ‘warning signs’ wouldn’t have stopped most people from pursuing a similar path of vanity.
@@jay_naidu And they say Pride was the downfall of Lucifer, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was Gracie's downfall. As for those other women on the wall of photos, it makes you wonder where they are now.

Wolf Entertainment You know, when it comes to both Haunting Hour episodes starring Ariel Winter, her role as Gracie in "Headshot" is the exact opposite to her role Jenny in "Fear Never Knocks". Personally, I like Winter's role in Fear Never Knocks, because not only is she a more-likable character due to not being as mean-spirited as Gracie, but she also doesn't die in "Fear Never Knocks" AND she even triumphed against Fear himself. So, when push comes to shove, there is at least one Haunting Hour episode where "Sofia the First" is a more likable character AND triumphed against the big villain, with that episode being "Fear Never Knocks". Sure, Fear is no Cassandra, but in a way, considering his role in his episode, he is the devil and at least "Sofia the First" manage to use her wits to defeat him. :)
TheMultiverse 1 That is if the ending to Fear Never Knocks doesn't imply that Fear is alive and still in Jenny's closet coming back for revenge. I do love the ambiguity of that creepy ending thanks to how unclear if it's Jenny's fear of the closet monster or the villain really being alive.

Checking Out is one of my favorites. I also want to see it next!
Hey I'm new to your channel
@Kevin Miles Welcome then.
@@WolfEntertainment do you think bailee Madison is cute
@@kevinmiles1731 I probably shouldn't answer that since I'm now older than her characters in this show are. But I was her age when the show was on the air, so I thought she was adorable.
@@WolfEntertainment I agree with you
i love jam
She is truly, truly, truly outrageous!
she not the devil or is she
J Mill She is the devil. Just in case you had your doubts, the Haunting Hour wiki confirms it.
What should Headshot should end
When Cassandra show her Demon form Lexi take a picture in her phone show it Gracie and Grace show it to the police and Teen teen magazine place was shut down and Cassandra was arrested and beauty fade to rot and turn to Dust
I think the red dye 3 thing was just stating what was in the drink at not the drink itself and that it was that ingredient that Flynn was allergic to. Although it seems pretty lazy to not state the name of the drink if that was the case. I guess it was supposed to be like discount Strawberry Fanta or something.
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
If you thought this ep was scary check out Ito's worshipping beauty that story is similar to haunting hour's ep headshot.
@queenofhearts1002 episode
Wolf Entertainment Only 12 Haunting Hour stories (including a 2-parter) remain... The Midnight Hour is close at hand... Prepare for... the "FINAL TWELVE" Haunting Hour reviews, or as I like to call it the "Countdown to the MIDNIGHT HOUR". :D
And for this "FINAL TWELVE", I believe the background I've sent you would be a great place to finish the Haunting Review Series, as well as other Special Occasions like other "FINAL TEN" reviews to other Horror Shows; "FINAL FIVE" for the Nightmare Room. :D
