AMAZING! i go there often Skiing and don't recognise anything haha, what a difference without snow. If only all the Scottish Ski resorts invested more in MTBing, outwith the mediocre Ski seasons. 🤙🙏
Saalbach and the other trail parks look amazing! would love to go there, gondolas up, panoramic views and miles of flow trail down - perfect! Thank you for sharing Scotty enjoyed watching really well made video 🙌😁
Been going through your video's and you put out some very good content about all these amazing stunning locations. Hope to complete the Big 5 challenge myself next year. Love your content!!
The road from Saalbach's Panorama to Fieberbrunn is mostly a descent, right? Is this part fairly quick to complete? If starting from Saalbach, maybe I should start from this part, then Leogang etc and save the Saalbach valley part to the end, so that in case of not making it on time the consequences would be less expensive than getting stuck on Leogang :) ? Anyway, amazing, thanks for sharing.
It’s certainly possible but maybe not the funnest ride to do on one! I’d suggest looking at hire for a day if you don’t have a fully… there’s some great shops to choose from!
@@ScottyLaughlandthank you! I’m having some coaching in the UK and love Saalbach in the winter. Maybe I’ll go to experience some of it and then go back to do this!
From what I can see there are only open trails and almost like roads, because I didn't see anything from DH tracks through trees. I could be wrong but from what I've seen I have no opinion.
Oh man you’re so wrong, there are so many trails, plenty of different options, huge sections of singletrack and even optional downhill tracks in both Saalbach and LeoGang! It’s a MTB’ers paradise. 🙌
@@ScottyLaughland thanks for the information, i m thinking visit for the first time Saalbach next summer. Thanks brother i will sourch more information about saalbach.
There’s many great hotel options that are all bike friendly in Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Look for any that offer the joker card as this will get you some discounts off lift passes. As for a recommendation, it’ll come down to what your spend is. All the ones I’ve stayed in have offered fabulous Austrian hospitality!!
You’ll have to check Saalbachs lastest orchestra but if you stay in select accommodation with joker card you get a discount and even a free uplift included!
On this loop, it’s primarily bike park! There are some really technical lines that were used in the EDR on the Saalbach side such as the X Line and Bergstadl…
Very nice, love it!
Le passage sur le chemin en bois est magnifique.
Belle vidéo et merci pour le partage.

Awesome trails🤘
The scenery alone would be worth the trip. Then to layer mountain biking on top...epic!

Living in Belgium not far from Brussels. This is my summer escape ! Saalbach or morzine/lesgets. Mtb Heaven
100% agree with you!
Great timing, looking forward to getting to Leogang even more 😊

Thanks a lot Dave! You’ll love it, it’s a challenge alright but a brilliant day out on the bike…
SiiiiiiiiiiiK! Bucket list trip for sure!!!
Sooo nice! My beautiful homecountry! (: I cant wait to ride there again. Hacklbergtrail is the best.
In october I am coming to live in Austria (carinthia in weitensfeld im gurktal). Hopefully I can make some new friends and riding buddies!!
The ski challenge is also pretty cool, follows roughly the same loop. If you go full gas it takes you a good 5 hours.

Yip it’s pretty quick to get down and I’d recommend doing it that way if I was doing it again…
Great Video👍🏻 Just booked to go next June to coincide with the UCI World Cup Championships😀 Are there many natural/cross country trials to be ridden?
Amazing vid! Love Saalbach! Hoping to bike there in September again 👌🏼😎
When’s the best time to go? Does it get busy there?
Great Video! But you missed the really interrestng parts of the XTrail.
Good job 🔥

Hello
It possible to ride from Saalbach to Leogang and back with dh bike?
Yes it is! There’s a couple of small climbs in there but it’s possible same on the way back!
Is big 5 possible on hardtail? Or would you rather not risk?
It’s certainly possible but maybe not the funnest ride to do on one! I’d suggest looking at hire for a day if you don’t have a fully… there’s some great shops to choose from!
Could a beginner give this a go? I have ski’d the circuit but am starting out as a mountain biker
I’d recommend having a little bit of experience before taking this on!

Hi! Where do you recommend staying as the best base/hotel or area? Thanks!

how much did you pay for a lift card?

This is 2022 right?
Not much tech going on
