It was in the news recently that they had to ask visitors to stop leaving socks, and rocks there. Apparently it’s messing with the ecosystem or something
Not so fun fact; they had to ask people not to bring clothes anymore, it was causing a landfill effect. BUT the grave marker is still there and you can still visit it.
I keep saying this, but she notices SO MANY DETAILS, and really seems to "know" the characters instead of just going "oh, another character, whatever" like others. She's the only one I've seen actually react to Bill and to recognize Fleur lol She noticed Rita's book, the Elder Wand as being Dumbledore's just by the design.. She's one of the few that remembered Hermione didn't have her bag. Also, the microexpressions of "certain" characters, the callbacks to previous movies, etc. She's great!
I agree, her reactions to these films have been my favourite by far. And I've seen a lot. Even though I'm super familiar with the books and films, watching these videos makes me feel like I'm re-experiencing them again and I love it
They stopped saying Voldemorts name because a taboo spell was put on it so that Death Eaters were able to trace anyone who said his name. That is actually, if I remember correctly, how they were discovered by two death eaters after they escaped from the wedding
yep you are correct. yet another example of the movies not explaining anything important and just putting in horrible clues that anyone who didnt read the books wouldnt catch. The only clue to the name having a spell on it is when they are in the coffee shop and Hermione says his name and the death eaters show up and then when Luna's dad says it in his house and the death eaters show up. When in the books Ron explains it to them when he comes back after having left them.
@@Lions1986 not to mention, all the weasleys are known pretty early in the books with the exception of Charlie the dragon tamer. Bill was there in Goblet of Fire. and half blood blood prince during which he got attacked by fenrir Greyback who they dont even name in the movie despite showing him. he is also the one who made Lupin a werewolf. also the movies dont bother explaining why Lucius Malfoy's wand broke when voldemort used it to chase harry. the movies cut out ALOT of Lore
Fun fact: Hagrid’s motorcycle was originally owned by Sirius. Sirius lent it to Hagrid the night Hagrid picked up Harry to drop him off at the Dursleys. Sirius never had the motorcycle returned to him because he ended up being framed and locked up in Azkaban. Also, the eye on Dolores’ door was Moody’s eye.
Hedwigs death actually tore me apart especially because I have a pet, just the thought of Hedwig fallen lifeless to the ground, being picked up and thrown into the trash by a garbage man or something like that is absolutely devastating to me. She was a good owl and deserved a proper funeral.
She’s a hero! It was so sad! Ur right she needed a proper burial! That’s why I thought she was coming back!!!! Cause the way she fell down… but she really blocked the killing curse. I loved her so much!
I remember reading that Hedwig, in the book, died when the sidecar she was riding in was blown up 😢 I still hate both. Movie form, she gets knocked out of the sky, book form, she didn't get a chance to fight
@@eriklehman5782I remember needing to take a big break after reading about her death in the book. It was somehow even more emotional than Dumbledoor or Dobby.
I'm with y'all. I only just barely resisted throwing the book across the room when I read Hedwig died. I took a long break after Hedwig's death before I took up reading the book again. I immediately scooped up my snoozing dog (who was lying next to me at the time) and cuddled him while I cried so damn hard into his fur and for such a long time. He must've been so confused and concerned, but he let me do it. I haven't been able to read past Hedwig's death in the seventh book since my dog (who was the love of my life, my soulmate) died. I just cant bring myself to do it.
I like to think that Dobby’s death hits hard because he radiates the spirit of the first 2 bubbly, bright movies while being present in these dark times in the story. That one last sense of “innocence” was killed by bellatrix
In the very first film I’m pretty sure Olivander tells Harry when he chooses his wand that ‘it’s curious you should be destined to use this wand given its twin gave you that scar’ so that’s something that was set up all the way back in the philosophers stone
About Ron getting splinched - apparition is super dangerous, if you do it wrong you could sever parts of your body. You could transport your upper half while your lower gets severed, so Ron was lucky the splinch was minor, he could have EASILY lost his whole arm. Just fun fact for those qho haven't read the books. Another interesting point is that Nagini was legit wearing Bathilda Bagshots skin 🙃 When Hermione walked in to the little broom cupboard in her house, where the blood was splattered, I'm pretty sure her skinless body was in there.
yeahh and what i LOVED the most about the Godric's Hollow chapter which was not included in the movie (certainly not the only thing ofc) is that Harry and Hermione not only escaped Nagini but Voldemort by a second.. that was crazy exciting to read.
"I've interrupted a deep thought haven't I? I can see it growing smaller in your eyes". Luna is amazingly thoughtful and perceptive. one of my favorite characters.
Me too. It's so endearing. I'm going to go through her catalog and watch some of her other reactions after this because I love it when reactors get invested in the story, care about the characters, and pay attention to the details
I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but one of the details the movies didn't have time for was that they actually spent a very long time at Grimmauld Place before they went to get the locket. While they were there the three of them actually became really friendly with Kreacher, who promised he would have dinner waiting for them when they got back from the Ministry 😭
Grindelwald, the man that Voldemort visited at that prison, NEVER gave Voldy the information about the Elder Wand in the books. Grindelwald was the most feared and dangerous Dark Wizard of all-time before Voldemort came to be, and was a lifelong friend (and lover) of Dumbledore's, but Grindelwald believed that in order to protect the Wizarding World from the Muggles's foolish violent and war-loving ways, they needed to create a revolution and rule over both wizards and Muggles alike, and he and Dumbledore parted ways when their mindsets drifted apart. Eventually, Grindelwald was defeated by Dumbledore, in what was considered the most majestic wizard duel ever seen, and during his decades spent in his prison, Grindelwald came to regret his actions, and through his final act of redemption, refused to give Voldemort the location of the Elder Wand, and dared Voldemort to kill him, saying that unlike him, Grindelwald didn't fear death, as it was simply "the next great adventure", and he was killed as a result, protecting his lifelong friend one last time.
I've read the books multiple times. I've seen the movies multiple times. I've seen multiple reactions to the movies, and every time the reactor gets to Dobby's final scenes, the tears well up in my eyes too. There's no shame in crying for Dobby.
Hits even harder in the books since the books don't completely forget about Dobby's existence until he's needed in Deathly Hallows the way the movies do.
Bill nighy was a great addition, as he is in anything. Hermione erases her parents memory and sends them to Australia to protect them from the deatheaters but eventually reunited with them and restored their memories. Dudley and Petunia have a deleted scene where Dudley actually stands up for Harry against his father's insults and Petunia actually has a human conversation with Harry about his mother/her sister. Lucius is looking rough because he's on Voldemort's bad side after failing to retrieve the prophecy. Plus he had spent time in Azkaban. The stuntman was paralyzed being knocked through the wall by Nagini. Harry's Father is a descendant of the third brother. Bill isn't the only older brother, there's Charlie as well. He's never seen in the movies. Pay attention to the description of the Resurrection stone, a lot of people get confused in the last movie. 17 only signifies the end of the trace and restrictions for underage magic. Living with the Dursley's basically keeps his mother's blood protection working but that lasts a while, that's why he was always okay at Hogwarts. Also, remember that he split his soul into seven pieces which means only 6 horcruxes.
@@Kelerion indeed that's how horcruxes work. In order for the one who uses horcruxes to "come back" they still have to hold on to a piece of their original soul. However, the more one splits his soul, the less power he has to really do anything, much less "return". Each time one creates a horceux, they split their remaning soul in half. So it's a balancing game that Tom Riddle played between hiding pieces of his soul in horcruxes, and having enough of his original soul to return to a powerful corporeal form.
Fun fact: Emma Watson’s screams when Hermione was tortured seemed so real and went on for so long that not only did they cut most of it from the movie, but everyone on set was uncomfortable and worried and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix’s actress) had to make sure that Emma was okay.
Harry's screams at Sirius' death also bothered some in the cast. Emma and Helena both broke out in tears, from what I've read. I think this is one of the more amazing things about this series, the kids - even as kids, and as teens - were very, very good at their trade. I'm sure they all just soaked up knowledge from the older cast members (Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, et al).
It always disappointed me they didn’t put Kreachers awesome arc from the book in the movie especially the story he tells in the book about how he was forced to drink the same potion Dumbledore drank in order for Regulas to get the locket it’s such a sad and heartbreaking story
One cannot overestimate the importance of that tale (the animation) in really understanding where the message of this story is going. The scene of Dobby's burial in the book is one of the most remarkable ones I ever read. Incredibly dark and also shockingly luminous. Just one short phrase from it: "Understanding blossomed in the dark"
Voldemort cursed? his own name, so whoever said it could be pinpointed. That’s how the death eaters showed up in the café. It’s also how Lovegood called them to his house.
“Bye hedwig, stay safe.” Oof. Major major oof. 😂 almost instantly not safe. I am glad I found your channel, your reaction to these movies have made me a fan.
I bawled like a baby reading Dobby's death and funeral. So you'd think I'd be ready for it in the movies - wrong, I cried and choked all the same. I still cry even watching reactions to it. Every time. I feel you, girl.
There is a Deleted scene where Harry is sending his family away to save their lives and Harry's Aunt and Cousin are actually nice to him for a change it is a very touching scene
Haha, we told you they kept getting darker and sadder as the series went on starting with the 3rd one! Another great reaction; SOOO excited for the last one!
Don't worry, we're crying along side with you. It's crazy how darker the Harry Potter movies got since the 1st movie....OMG >.< just looking back when they were little kids and now all grown up!
The Prophecy about Harry and Voldemort actually referred to TWO boys; Harry and Neville. Snape was spying on Trelawney for Voldemort but got disturbed before he could hear the entire thing. That led to Voldemort trying to kill Harry, and marking him, and giving him powers. It's also why Dumbledore hired Trelawney as the Divination Professor. It kept her safe. He knows that she's very weak in her Divination skills.
No, it only referred to one boy. But it was vague enough that it *could have* referred to *either* Harry *or* Neville until Voldemort marked one of them. When Voldemort decided on going after the Potters first, it was set in stone that the prophecy was about Harry.
I can’t believe you’re almost at the end of this journey! I cannot wait to see your reaction to the finale! Dobby’s death is so heartbreaking that every time I see it and the following scene of Voldemort stealing the elder wand I can only express it in these words, “NOW IT’S PERSONAL!” 🧑🏻🦱🪄🪨👤
Please don't take this the wrong way. I can't wait for you to react to part 2 and come out of it as a sloppy mess. It provides me vindication and makes me feel better about myself. That's why I watch every Hallows part 2 reaction that I find. Love the reactions!
Everyone else is answering all your questions so I’m just here for the empathy and feels! OMG what a whirlwind, I’m enjoying this ride so much. I started tearing up for you basically as soon as the movie started, I didn’t want to see how much this one would break you 😭 It’s so fascinating how these movies/books are able to have such a massive impact on us. So excited to see what other HP content you explore after this 🤗 It’s so crazy looking back at the first movie after seeing these. Watching the first movie again after the last makes me SO emotional, especially when Harry and Ron and Hermione first meet on the train, like stop you guys are gonna be best friends and go through so much together and you have no idea 🥺
Dobby’s death killed me….. the only movie i have watched in theaters where you could hear people sobbing and crying. I have been realy impressed by all your presictions through these movies. Love from the cold north of Denmark🇩🇰
Dobby's first and last words in HP series was Harry Potter. And the one last thing Harry asked Dobby to do in the Chamber of Secrets was to never save his life again and now we're here
I am always ugly crying along with you, and I've read and watched the series multiple times. She who must not be named may have lost her way, but this series is fantastical, and I hold out hope she has a spare deluminator to find her way again.
Apparition and non verbal magic are both learned during the 6th year of Hogwarts, also as to why they keep saying “you know who”, in a deleted scene Ron explains that Voldemort’s name is taboo and they use it to track people
The eye on Umbridge's door is May-Eye's. The Death Eaters ripped it off his corpse. In the books Harry stole it, and buried it later in the woods in the memory of the old guy-
Such a great first part. But now... Finally the great finale! Can't wait to see your reaction. I'm sure plenty of us can't wait to see your reaction to one particular scene...or rather part of the last movie 🙃
I have just started the video, I have been waiting sooooo long for your reaction to these deaths. I know you'll be feeling emotionally drained, I cry every time I watch it. I'll comment again when I finish!
The audio books for the series are excellent. The narrator / voice actor did a wonderful job to capture the personality of the characters for the readings. I read the first 4 of the books and finish the rest during a 4 hour round trip commute on audio, it was quite enjoyable.
Hermione intends to reverse the spell she puts on her parents. She sent them to Australia for their own protection without them knowing anything. As she would be one of the Death Eaters priority targets, so would her parents. The Deluminator is still a big secret, nothing is really revealed, however from this movie and the third Fantastic Beasts, it seems that heartfeelings are very intuned into the Deluminator's magic in some way. It's not just about switching lights on and off. Remember that one of Dumbledore's specialties in ancient magic is love. The sixth movie didn't tell that Sirius's house is now Harry's since Sirius made him his heir. They had to replace that scene with the train station one... Mundungus was a notorius thief and traitor, Kreacher accusing him is not a lie. That character was present in the fifth book and took the opportunity of the Order cleaning Sirius's house to steal some family trinkets for money, among those were the real locket. Harry even had it in his hands at some point ! The eye on Umbridge's office door, is Mad Eye's magical eye. The movie was nice to Peter Pettigrew. In the book he is stranged by the magical hand Voldy gave him in the fourth movie because he shows a slim of compassion towards Harry. If you ugly cry like that for Dobby, what will it be for the next movie, buckle up...
Thank you for your reactions, Ames! I was also really impacted by Hermione erasing herself from her family. It's just so sad. It seemed like she had a family that really loved and cared about her, too. "My brain is just going crazy with thoughts. If only I could speak them all at once!" Yes, if only (and likewise!). Dobby was such a pure soul 😭
I grew up watching this series, when this series ended so was my childhood. When someone new get to experience this great masterpiece for the first time it really reminds me of those happy days. You're in for a Epic finale.
When I went into the last book I didn’t see how she was going to answer all my questions and not leave me wanting more… she somehow magically did it! She somehow addressed all the thoughts I had and tied it up in a nice bow. I remember coming back inside (I had gone at midnight to buy it and then sat on the deck and read it straight thru… my husband knew to just leave me to it 😂)… he said ‘well?’ And I remember smiling and saying she did it, don’t know how, but she did it. She managed to answer everything, and satisfy me to the point that I am actually okay with no more books and I didn’t think that was possible’.
Usually, I wait for the reactions to HP 7.1 and 7.2, to watch it back to back. But you put so much into this series, I had to watch it as soon as I saw it pop up. Enjoy the big finale of a magical story. It has some great moments in it. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
@@holddowna I only can imagine the amount of work that goes into an upload like this. I am a small content creator myself, so I know a little bit about editing videos and I appreciate the work that goes into weekly uploads. I usually don’t talk about the waiting, I just wait to not put pressure on the content creator.
I went to the midnight premiere of Deathly Hallows part 2, and they showed part one before it. The part where Dobby saves Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Griphook, and Mr Ollivander from Malfoy Manor had the whole audience cheering. Also, I think Rufus Scrimgeour's actor is the same one who played Viktor from the first Underworld movie.
Tissues, Tissues, and more Tissues! This time I just want to tell you that I love watching Harry Potter reactions, and I've watched MANY. I have (at this time) three definitive favorites that are so far above the others that I can't possibly rank them against one another. You are one of those three. I can't wait for your finale.
I rarely comment.. First off, your reactions are REFRESHINGLY HEARTFELT! You take the story as it comes and you open your heart to it completely. Not many reactors allow themselves to go there. There's simply being entertained and then there's "living it." You let this story be ALL it can for you. After all, if we don't let stories move us, what's the point? So thanks for the authenticity and vulnerability. ❤️ Secondly, I want to add that I try not to think about Hedwig's body landing in a bad place, but preferably a forest or river, to be reclaimed by nature, to nourish new life. I treat animal deaths with a kind of reverence. When it came time for me to release my feline companion Pickles from this life in '21, to end his suffering, I insisted on being present. My loved ones did not understand WHY, even when I explained it. It was for love, honor, respect, compassion, and gratitude. The last thing he saw was my face. The last thing he felt was my arms around him. The last voice he heard was mine saying, "I love you" and "Thank you" over and over and over, through my tears...until the life left his eyes and his face had gone completely slack. He looked so...sad in death. Not too long prior, before the mercy was initiated, I'd been petting him alone. He purred so loud - as if he weren't sick. I have the audio recording on my phone still. After he was confirmed gone, I broke down. They gave me complete privacy again. I wrapped him in a towel they'd given me and I held him like a baby for probably an hour or more, gazing at him, stroking his face. I was fortunate to find a local human crematorium that had a smaller building out back for private pet cremations. It was very affordable (I had modest means) and touchingly personal. The man took two clay paw impressions (I chose the ornamentations), several ink paw prints, then allowed each member of my little family to choose a crystal pendant, which he stroked against Pickles's fur ("the last thing to touch your baby," he said). When I got his remains back in their wood urn (my choice bc..nature), there were also whisker clippings and fur clippings from various parts of his body, each one labelled in a plastic pouch. I tucked those inside the urn. The urn also contains a picture window. I have pictures selected but not yet printed. I'm sad to say that his urn has remained in its original cardboard box, in my bedroom, since May of '21. I sit the box next to me sometimes. I haven't felt ready to take the final steps of finishing his urn and placing it in a prominent spot in my home. I want to have a family altar of sorts -- grandmothers, aunt, cousins, Pickles -- remains and mementos to honor and remember the lives of those whose deaths have shaped me. A bit of a tangent, and a rather long one at that. Sorry. You're a deep feeler. Losing Hedwig hit home. She was more than an owl in the story for Harry -- just as Pickles was more than a cat to me. But I did appreciate that Hedwig died protecting Harry. Loyal to the end! 💯 I realize my comment comes long after you've posted this video, so you probably won't see it.. I was totally new to HP, having started it (books, then movies) over a year ago with my daughter. So I had to wait for us to finish Deathly Hallows and its two movies before continuing on with your last two reaction vids. I'm so glad to finally be watching them! #AccioAllTheTissues #Ravenclaw #ThestralPatronus
this is one of the best of all the HP movies in my opinion. it's the most unique (harry/ron/hermione on the run from Voldy while also trying to figure out the horcruxes and deathly hallows) and has some of the best pacing and tension.
I think when you finish with the movies, you should get the audiobooks and do a reaction video for each audiobook. Jim Dale who reads it, does a unique voice for each character, and has the record for the most unique voices in one audiobook. Your gonna love the books way more than the movies!
Great scene deleted from the movie was Dudley saying to Harry at the beginning of this film: “I don’t think you’re a waste of space “ and they shook hands and hugged
Props to you for remembering some details from the first movie and picking up little details. Also, regarding your question about why sometimes they say the words/incantation for a charm/spell/curse, it's because Non-Verbal magic is significantly harder to do than Verbal Magic. It takes lots of concentration and if it's not done correctly it can lead to some bad results. That's why it is easier to say the words for certain spells. Also, I believe the type of wood that a wizard/witch's wand is made of also plays a role in how easy or difficult it is to cast verbal and non verbal spells.
Yeah, the thing about the wand intercepting Voldemort is that it acted of its own accord when it sensed that Harry was in great danger and couldn’t do anything, which was unprecedented seeing as wands never act without their masters giving them a mental command from intent
About Harry's wand: The (now broken) wand has a phoenix feather core, and therefore it has a tendency to act on its own, a feature many witches/wizard dislike. This is really hard to communicate effectively in movie form, but you can see it moving on its own in Harry's hand, and that's why it defeated Lucius' wand. A cheat sheet (may vary based on the wizard and wood type): Unicorn hair: Most consistent and loyal. Dragon heartstring: Most powerful and flamboyant Phoenix Feather: Greatest range of magic.
The movies don’t address hermiones family. In the books she just alters their memories, makes them believe they want to go to Australia on vacation and don’t remember her. After the war they come back and she restores their memories. All to protect them from the war, and incase she doesn’t come back.
Where they filmed the scene with Dobby's burial was in Pembrokeshire in Wales, and there's actually a shrine to Dobby there where fans can go and visit.
One for the older Brits - when Dobby was unscrewing the chandelier, admit it, you whispered under your breath. "Brace yerself, Rodney, brace yerself!".
Been waiting all week for this…figured it would be Sunday morning again. Watched it a couple of times already. “Oooh child, things are gonna get easier”. Hang in there, some great moments to come.
I was surprised they ended the movie here, but losing dobbie was a hard one. My daughter punched my chest after this movie again asking why b/c she didnt read the books. She never watched this movie again and reluctantly watched the next like it was going to a funeral. The only other movie series that affected her this hard was Avengers: ENDGAME (another series where i read all the comics already).
They start referring to Voldemort as "you know who" halfway through this movie because there's a trace on Volemorts name, that's how the deatheaters found them in London after the wedding The trio said his name and that gave the death eaters their location.
@@holddowna Just to add some clarification... The REASON his name was made Taboo, and thus had the trace placed on it, was because only those who TRULY and SERIOUSLY opposed him (I.E. Dumbledore, Harry, and the Members of the Order of the Pheonix) used the name "Voldemort". All his Death Eaters called him "The Dark Lord" to each other and "My Lord" to his face. Everyone else in the Wizarding world was too afraid even before his second rise to power to speak his name and called him "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" or "You-Know-Who". So, it was a clever way of tracking his most serious enemies. Kingsley was almost captured/killed because of it in the books.
Little fact about our beloved Dumbledore's fire chicken, he gave exactly two feathers for the creation of two wands, theses wands became Voldemort and Harry's wand !
The last 2 movies were shot back to back. The shot when they are trying to escape from the Ministry of Magic was the very last scene shot of the movie.
Your so smart. I think you should read books. One thing Rons elder brother Percy and rita skeeter had subplots too in the books. Everything is explained very well in the books. Cant wait for the last one will be crying with you 😢again. It has been a great journey with you. Prepare yourself 😰
You asked why Harry said "You-Know-Who" instead of Voldemort... I don't think it's outright said in the film, but in the book, the trio realize (Hermione specifically, iirc) while they're traveling that whenever they say the name "Voldemort", they are attacked by Death Eaters or Snatchers shortly after. Once Ron returns to the group, he tells the other two that he learned why: when he was escaping from the group of snatchers (the ones he got the replacement wand from that he gave to Harry), he finds out that the name "Voldemort" has had a curse put on it; called "the taboo", it acts as a sort of homing beacon so that Voldemort's supporters can find those witches and wizards who oppose him.

In the very first film I’m pretty sure Olivander tells Harry when he chooses his wand that ‘it’s curious you should be destined to use this wand given its twin gave you that scar’ so that’s something that was set up all the way back in the philosophers stone
Yeah he told Harry that both wand cores have a feather from the same phoenix
@@haloman34567 and that phoenix was Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes
Yes I remeber that
About Ron getting splinched - apparition is super dangerous, if you do it wrong you could sever parts of your body. You could transport your upper half while your lower gets severed, so Ron was lucky the splinch was minor, he could have EASILY lost his whole arm. Just fun fact for those qho haven't read the books. Another interesting point is that Nagini was legit wearing Bathilda Bagshots skin 🙃 When Hermione walked in to the little broom cupboard in her house, where the blood was splattered, I'm pretty sure her skinless body was in there.
yeahh and what i LOVED the most about the Godric's Hollow chapter which was not included in the movie (certainly not the only thing ofc) is that Harry and Hermione not only escaped Nagini but Voldemort by a second.. that was crazy exciting to read.
i haven't read the books, but for me when I first watch the movie, I immediately thought that ron got splinch from apparating..
"I've interrupted a deep thought haven't I? I can see it growing smaller in your eyes". Luna is amazingly thoughtful and perceptive. one of my favorite characters.
i really recommend you look up a deleted scene from the movie of dudley and harry saying goodbye to each other
But also dont look up anything until you’re done the last one, no need for accidental spoilers while searching
Yes, it was so wrong of them to leave the dursleys scenes out.
I was hoping they would become
Friends later on
You’re the first reactor I’ve seen remember the deluminator from the first movie. I was so happy when you did!
I always wondered what that was!
Fun fact: The house and Kreacher were left to Harry by Sirius, in his own will. That's why the elf responds to Harry's commands
This girl is so brutally emotional, I love her.
😅🤣
Eventually, Grindelwald was defeated by Dumbledore, in what was considered the most majestic wizard duel ever seen, and during his decades spent in his prison, Grindelwald came to regret his actions, and through his final act of redemption, refused to give Voldemort the location of the Elder Wand, and dared Voldemort to kill him, saying that unlike him, Grindelwald didn't fear death, as it was simply "the next great adventure", and he was killed as a result, protecting his lifelong friend one last time.
so how did voldemort find the wand in the book? i forgot
@@ghaniasif143 he remembered that grindelwald and dumbledore had their epic duel and dumbledore won, so he connected the dots
I've read the books multiple times. I've seen the movies multiple times. I've seen multiple reactions to the movies, and every time the reactor gets to Dobby's final scenes, the tears well up in my eyes too. There's no shame in crying for Dobby.
Loved that guy! Wow just hit hard
Dobby was the only death I actually cried for...
@@holddowna Wait til you see book Dobby. He is so much more in the story in the books. He really is a badass little elf.
Hits even harder in the books since the books don't completely forget about Dobby's existence until he's needed in Deathly Hallows the way the movies do.
Dont know if im evil inside but i bust out laughing every time ppl cry about dobby 😅
Daniel Ratcliffe emulating the attitude of all the other characters is one of his most solid performances in the series.
Almost everyone (including me :) ) forgets last one - that one piece of splitted Voldemort soul must be in him itself so he can live :)
harry is a descendant of the third brother AND voldemort is a descendant of the second brother. 🤯
@@Bodasurri93 dont forget that dumbledore is a descendant of the first brother (and also maybe the personification of Death)
Charlie can be seen for like two seconds in the photograph of the trip to Egypt in POA. ;P
It always disappointed me they didn’t put Kreachers awesome arc from the book in the movie especially the story he tells in the book about how he was forced to drink the same potion Dumbledore drank in order for Regulas to get the locket it’s such a sad and heartbreaking story
didn't Regulus drink the potion? Haven't read the books in years but I thought he did.
@@dok2751 no Regulas betrays Voldemort but he’s still a dick and forces Kreacher to do it
@@Inzaynmembrain97wrong Kreacher had to make him drink it
Don’t spoil she said she wanted to read the books
Regulus orders Kreacher to take the medallion and destroy it, than drinks the potion and dies in the lake...
Thanks so much for watching with me! MAJOR OOF I didn’t see that coming and was just shocked
Y’all did tell me!!!!
@@holddowna Last movie is far darker yet... cant wait to see your reaction to it.

I love to see that someone reacts to these movies like I do ❤️ thank you for sharing your emotions with us!
I can’t believe you’re almost at the end of this journey! I cannot wait to see your reaction to the finale! Dobby’s death is so heartbreaking that every time I see it and the following scene of Voldemort stealing the elder wand I can only express it in these words, “NOW IT’S PERSONAL!”

The audio books for the series are excellent. The narrator / voice actor did a wonderful job to capture the personality of the characters for the readings. I read the first 4 of the books and finish the rest during a 4 hour round trip commute on audio, it was quite enjoyable.
Reading them but I for sure have to give them a listen!!

Honestly! It’s been so magical I feel like a kid again!
Another fantastic reaction 👏 I’ve always enjoyed watching the movies it’s a shame they gave a lot of Ron’s moments to hermione tho

Thanks Dana! Tissues were a must for this!!! Thanks for being here with me
I rarely comment.. ❤️
Secondly, I want to add that I try not to think about Hedwig's body landing in a bad place, but preferably a forest or river, to be reclaimed by nature, to nourish new life.
I realize my comment comes long after you've posted this video, so you probably won't see it.. I was totally new to HP, having started it (books, then movies) over a year ago with my daughter. So I had to wait for us to finish Deathly Hallows and its two movies before continuing on with your last two reaction vids. I'm so glad to finally be watching them! #AccioAllTheTissues
#Ravenclaw #ThestralPatronus
this is one of the best of all the HP movies in my opinion. it's the most unique (harry/ron/hermione on the run from Voldy while also trying to figure out the horcruxes and deathly hallows) and has some of the best pacing and tension.
"look how cute Hedwig is" me just waiting for about 5-10 minutes of movie time to really see the water works
😰
I think when you finish with the movies, you should get the audiobooks and do a reaction video for each audiobook. Jim Dale who reads it, does a unique voice for each character, and has the record for the most unique voices in one audiobook. Your gonna love the books way more than the movies!
Great scene deleted from the movie was Dudley saying to Harry at the beginning of this film: “I don’t think you’re a waste of space “ and they shook hands and hugged
Oh the heart disappeared 👻
Great reaction! Thank you.
At the end of every HP book, I cried my eyes out. I couldn`t stop crying. The books are far more intense than the movies.
Thanks victor!
Yeah, the thing about the wand intercepting Voldemort is that it acted of its own accord when it sensed that Harry was in great danger and couldn’t do anything, which was unprecedented seeing as wands never act without their masters giving them a mental command from intent
About Harry's wand:
The (now broken) wand has a phoenix feather core, and therefore it has a tendency to act on its own, a feature many witches/wizard dislike. This is really hard to communicate effectively in movie form, but you can see it moving on its own in Harry's hand, and that's why it defeated Lucius' wand. A cheat sheet (may vary based on the wizard and wood type):
Unicorn hair: Most consistent and loyal.
Dragon heartstring: Most powerful and flamboyant
Phoenix Feather: Greatest range of magic.
IIRC, thestral hair is a core, too..
Oh my god when you got so excited to see dobby I just lost it, knowing what was coming 😢 great reactions, i love the pure emotions.

The movies don’t address hermiones family. In the books she just alters their memories, makes them believe they want to go to Australia on vacation and don’t remember her. After the war they come back and she restores their memories. All to protect them from the war, and incase she doesn’t come back.

They start referring to Voldemort as "you know who" halfway through this movie because there's a trace on Volemorts name, that's how the deatheaters found them in London after the wedding The trio said his name and that gave the death eaters their location.
Ok makes sense
Dobby actually appears in every book except Philosopher's stone and Prisoner of Azkaban
And he has a blink and you’ll miss it scene in goblet of fire. Him and Winky

Ames, I delved into the wand lore..............It is a crap ton and very interesting.
The last 2 movies were shot back to back. The shot when they are trying to escape from the Ministry of Magic was the very last scene shot of the movie.
Something tells me you had a rough go of how this one ended 😇 rip Dobbie a true hero.
41:30 should go in a “moments before heartbreak” compilation
Where is the last? I’m not trying to rush, but I just love your reactions so much I can’t wait for another.
