Pulling trees with a Vintage Warn 8274 Winch

We’re using our vintage Warn 8274 winch mounted on our 1976 K20 Chevy to pull down some dead trees before they take out the shop roof. Don’t try this at home folks!

Sweet old chev. I wonder, that Winch bumper must be made for an 81/82 possibly since it has holes for possibly turn signals. Those year of chevs had the signals in the stock bumper.

I was wondering it looks like I got the same wench that you got other day I was pulling a car slack got the cable the car slid back and when it did it snatched the cable when I got the car up on the trailer and let go of the of the button the car wanted to start rolling back off of the trailer I had to winch it back up a little bit strapped it down because the winds would not hold it I was wondering you said you rebuild yours did you do a video on that my winch still works fine and reverse then forward it just like I guess the locking mechanism broke on it or something it don't want to lock that's only thing I can think of

Put a 6.2 detroit in it ,parts are more common than a 4bt.
