For The Smiths fans out there, that is the same year and model Andy Rourke used. RIP Andy.
Greg Coates...always a pleasure to watch, Thumpin Thursday rocks again!!!!
Smokin’ Greg!
When I was 16 I got my first bass. It was a late 60's early 70's Cobra Pbass. It was a Japanese bass. It had a single maxon mini humbucker. Bridge cover, and the pickup cover also. A solid body that was just slab of wood. With the Telecaster head. I'm actually looking for it again. But, I haven't seen it anywhere online. If anyone has ever seen a A 60's/70's Cobra Pbass with Japans custom color. (really any color) Please let me know about it. Especially if it is for sale!
FLOCK OF SEAGULLS ROCKS!!
Glad to see you back on Norman's channel, Greg, you rock!! Keep'em coming! I wish you the best.
Would love to see a 60's fender bass v on the channel
Great demo!!
My bucket list has a early 60's P from Norm's. Welcome back Greg!
I like this dude. Great rundown of specs.
Always a pleasure to hear Greg rockin' a classic P-Bass...but this was exceptional! 😎🎼🎵🎶👍
Greg is on it. Pick it. Sounds great
Crazy funky hair Greg! Awesome playing again.
Greg Coates - in the pocket!
Good spot for the thumb rest. Lets more of that gorgeous 1964 tort pick guard show. Interesting thing about the clay dots is they were punched out from some composite floor tiles Leo had lying around. At that time they were most likely made of asbestos.
That is just an awesome bass and you make it sound way better than me.
Great sounds from Greg on one of the ultimate Fender basses of all time. Jaco P. would have enjoyed this demo.🎉
Gorgeous Pease😊
Nice🤘🔥
Love me an early ‘60’s P-Bass. How does the real thing compare to a vintage reissue?
